There is no more suitable airport in Venice.
They only value appearance and money, and there is no efficiency at all.
It only took an hour to wait in line for passport security checks.
The unkindness of the staff is basic, the cut-in of the users is a bonus, and the disorder is not controlled.
Only those who keep order and wait in line are made into Hogu.
Don't write a review just by looking at the airport.
It starts with entering the departure hall.
All the lazy service right before the flight departed gave me the worst experience.
Congratulations, Marco Polo Airport.
It was voted as my worst airport.

There are no places to wait, everything is packed in any area (to board, at the security control, waiting at the boarding gate, the lines between doors are mixed and with those who have priority boarding) there are many delayed flights and changes gate in the last hour. It is too small for the traffic you have. Fatal.

I was in the queue for an hour and a half for the checks and on 12 branches only 4 active with the staff while at least two hundred people were in a queue in a ridiculous and uncontrolled coil. Shame!

Small airport, has machines and ticket vending facilities to reach the center of Venice or Mestre.

Nice airport. When we were there, the waiting was minimal. They also have good options to shop at the duty free. There is a straight bus ,bus 5, from Venice . You need to take a seperate pass for the airport bus.

The security is organised in a retarded way; priority lane is slower than main... they should learn from the Dutch and Scandinavia how not to waste our time.

Taxi drivers overstate the fixprice in Mestre 35 euros, but ask for 50 ...

Small airport with few services. Only place to eat is a pizza shop where they panic if you take a picture of the pizza they have on display behind glass but want to sell you. Lady selling pizza insisted "no photo!" waving her hand around the pizza like it had flies very dramatically. I explained this is a public airport of tourists where people come for vacation and it's not a private kitchen. Ofcourse she said allora which is the common Italalian filler word when looking to be dramatic and shrugged her shoulders and lifted her hands to shoulder level not interested in customer service or changing her hard headed ideology as a picture is proprietary. No signs are posted prohibiting pictures and I've taken pictures of the pizza before since I live in Italy but this is how many think in Italy.

Although the airport still has work in progress, it is functional and comfortable. The indications are clear for both arrivals and departures. I find the temporary parking particularly efficient, which always offers availability even in busy periods. This airport has made continuous improvements over time and once completed, it will also be aesthetically appreciable

Few places and very high food prices. Wi-fi like free but you have to log in and give a lot of private data like name, address and phone number with an email, it's some misunderstanding, the airport collects a passenger database? for advertising agencies? in Berlin I have wi-fi and already, we have the 21st century but Marco Polo is still in the XX.

The airport services etc are quick and easy, but the food options are overpriced and not good

Passport control is incredibly slow. It spent one hour in wait line to pass it. And it was single small Boing 737.

Great for your adrenaline, no announcements related to gate opening and last passenger calls made, so you have to be in constant adventurous mode, thank you Marco Polo for this unforgettable experience.
1 star only for the free wi-fi, it's great to be able to connect to the web while you are waiting for a never-happened boarding announcement .
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Go to Malpensa instead.

Very crowded the Italian take their sweet time to finish any projects in the airport. The airport need to outsource the entire airport operations to an outside management company. That can do better

Tiny little airport. There's not a lot to do in this airport. Shopping is overpriced and access to the city and cruise port isn't straightforward. Landing at the airport is cool, though, as it's got canals alongside the runway and you see a good view of the city on approach

The most disorganized airport I have ever been. I was surprised given that it's for such a popular tourist destination. Staff are not pro-active, they aren't on top of their game, they all feel like rookies just learning on the job, way too many line-ups one after the other which are meaningless. The way the boarding was handled at the gates was just terrible and chaotic. No sense or organization what so ever. I was at the airport 3.5 hours before my flights and only half the plane was boarded at the actual flight time. SO think how my day went. And can I also mention that I saw a guy smoking on the tarmac beside my aircraft? (proofs provided under pics)

The airport itself is very much. One of the most vivid impressions is a transfer by boat :) Of the minuses - we stood in line for a long time for check-in, not all passengers understand where to go for check-in. Far enough from each other are the check-in and check-in counters from the passage to check personal belongings. In general, it is worse, but to stand a huge queue at the passport control, when you arrive in Venice, and then stand at the registration for a long time, when you fly away from Venice - this is tin ....

Very efficient and fast security gates, but in the boarding area there is the slaughterhouse especially in the queues of passport controls, there is a mess if you are a foreigner ... Arrivals area very clean but time passes if you wait for yours luggage!

Main airport of Triveneto. It has a lot of luxury shops with the most prestigious brands. The controls are fast.

We flew in a group. Sooo long passport control. Two people lost their suitcases. Sooo long red tape to get your luggage. Probably a week later, not earlier, was brought to the address. Not opened, but the impression that he was thrown from corner to corner. Do not litter and look around: there are interesting specimens))

Some parts have been recently updated. Signage can be a little confusing, however it doesn't take long to get your bearings. A good clean, functionally, regional airport

Mass of incompetent exaltations.

I traveled all over Europe with a bullet-shaped keychain (obviously fake) only in this airport have created a mess of control problems and even threw it. They also threw me a food supplement that was liquid (and it was less than 100ml) worth 5, was perfectly sealed, closed and CE bought in an Italian pharmacy. I have no words really.

Not to mention the lost time because they also sent me to the policeman where I had to declare the orogine of the keychain cabbage (crazy stuff!).

Fortunately I had arrived well in advance.

Too little seating in the waiting area, even seniors have to sit on the floor. I do not want to experience what would happen in case of an emergency evacuation

Aviation Services SPA provide departure services on the ground and on Friday 19th July 2019 my relatives both senior over 60s received the worse service ever from one of their employee and she did not allow one of them on boarf, nonetheless she also refused to give her employee number. Now will bring this up to the relevant authority. Check with your fly company who manage the ground services and avoid Aviation Service SPA

Nice airport, a bit chaotic for the first few times but well managed, I can't wait for the completion of the main structure's work to be transformed into a Hub for the North-East

Nice airport, quite large, comfortable, well connected by public transport.

Small European airport, Koreans can go through automatic passport examination (similar to Incheon airport). However, if you take your first passport in Venice after leaving the country (in the case of the Schengen Convention, you should only have your passport screened in the country of your first entry), you will need to stamp your passport. When you leave the airport, you will see buses lining the airport, buses to Venice Island and buses to Mestre. Tickets are bought from machines and apologized to drivers. It is difficult to find a place to charge mobile phones at the airport.

Marco Polo is a well organized airport with many cheap connections across the EU

Airport not very big, rather nice. Good indications in strategic points and in large numbers. Bright clear and pleasant.

Do not trust the timetables and especially the company for public transport operating at night

Who knows' why the criticism of everything and everyone comes mostly from Italians .... boooooo and do not always say that everything else works like a Swiss watch because I have a long list on many international airports

I've been to a hundred airports around the world, and I must say that this one definitely deserves a good grade. Of course, some services need to be improved (cost of parking, loading unloading, absurd), but for Italy it is an excellence.

It is small but operational when arriving, they one of the most beautiful and luxurious duty frees area in the world.

When we first got here, we were checking our bags though air Canada. The whole ordeal of checking bags was terrible. It took about an hour to make our way through the line due to the under staffing of this area. There was one group that was at the counter for about 10 min straight. The only reason this wasn't completely terrible is because of an adorable Pomeranian that was near me. My flight got canceled right before liftoff, and they had us wait at the airport for 6 hours before sending us to a hotel. They gave us food and water, but the whole experience was just waiting in random lines hoping an employee would come and guide us somewhere.

Good facilities and communicated by buses or by boat with Venezia

Showed up early for our flight and got turned away from baggage drop because you can only go through two and a half hours early. So you're forced to stand around if you show up too early.

Pitiful luggage delivery. I am of a proverbial slowness. Unfortunately, you can't do without it

It is very nicely organized airport.very clean.people are very helpful.

Arrival - public buses! We bought day tickets straight away. We paid a little more than 40 per ticket, but we got that out quickly because we could use it to drive all public boats (ACTV) in Venice. And the trip from the airport to the city alone costs 8.

Return flight: Important - if you are not properly explained (as with us): the gates are not signposted at check-in! You have to go to security first ... From there it continues ;-)
And if you still have to go to gates 1-8: the signposting request stops ... Go ahead and keep to the left: these gates are below the other ... So look down the stairs and continue: D

Everything is conveniently located! However, it does not always work perfectly! In the service, there is usually a queue.
Although everything happened without any problems!

I must express all my disappointment for the bad service. Thursday 22 June I left for Malaga with more than an hour of delay due to bad weather. At the time of departure they made us get on the plane in a pouring rain with no cover on the ladder. All of us passengers got very wet and on arrival we found our bags soaked.

Small airport, chaos in documenting suitcases in any airline, arrives in time and better to be aware of the departure sometimes it happens to change the departure doors without explanation!

The arrangements at check-in and security require a rigorous review at this airport. Check-in was total chaos with only person serving the queue of people wanting to check in for British Airways flights and spent over 20 minutes dealing with one customer and so the queue was ever growing and at a standstill. At security only one line was manned depsite the passenger numbers. Overall it made for a very stressful and anxious check-in experience. The duty-free shop was a shambles with six staff behind the counter but only one serving and it was impossible to tell who was and who wasn't.

This is the worst airport I've been to. I didn t even have a place to drink water.

Good level airport with connections to the main European and international cities. Various and positive customer services inside. The only comment is that the refreshment areas are quite expensive, even if it is understandable in Venice.
Offering excellent connections with the main public transport and taxi service in the city of Venice. Ultimately, an airport that compares favorably with the main European airports.

The parking lots are very expensive, especially the one for the couriers: 7 euros for a 20-minute stop, even just to drop off passengers.

Zero stars if I could. Rude folks, telling me in an unprofessional manner that Norwegian air does not fly out of there. Slowwwwwwww lines. Open check in gates less than two hours before departure for international flights with huge security lines.

Very clean and clear!

The display panel with the flight times in the terminal and the check-in, however, differ by 20-30min which can be quite annoying!

Impossible parking without clear indications and rude operators, I paid 7 to stay parked 12 minutes because the machine did not take the money ...

Unfortunately, the check-in employees are only subjective and idiosyncratic when it comes to allocating the seats. Although my tour group "checked in" first, it was not possible to get seats in a row or nearby. This cannot have been due to any previous reservations, as the following travel groups were able to accommodate their requests for space.
Therefore, this airport with a corresponding employee will probably be less recommended ...

The airport is very modern.

The sanitary facilities are clean and modern, there are charging stations for mobile phones and laptops and the staff is attentive and friendly. Seats are sufficiently available and had nothing else to complain about.
