AEG Prudential Center (Newark, NJ) Reviews

Went here for a concert. It's a nice venue with plenty of food options. The place is nice. The only issue is getting inside, now with security you have to go through metal detectors so you have to wait outside. Big police presence so you feel safe. I would go here again. Easy to get to. Only a couple blocks from the train station.

As someone who attempts to eat healthy and has dietary restrictions, the Prudential Center is one of the most difficult places to do this. They have a cart that is sponsored by the hospital and called the healthy options corner but really, the only true healthy option in that cart is a garden salad. If you are a little hungrier than that, there are no real healthy options. There are sandwiches with gluten free bread but the ingredients in those are not healthy. I found a place that served bowls and I ended up getting a bowl of rice with steamed vegetables. Not terribly satisfying but the healthiest option I could find. Maybe next time will be better?

Attended Disney on ice event there. The arena is very clean and there are several parking decks and parking lots near by. There were plenty of cops outside to keep and make everyone reel safe. Our seats were located on the 15 row section 13 and it was perfect view. The arena was packed and everyone exited in an orderly manner.

Went there as a class trip to see Disney on Ice very unorganized knowing that there was a group of children they're going to be going

A wonderful gorgeous place to be at, I very enjoy this center and I believe You HAVE to go to the Prudential Center for sure!

Awesome seating for hockey games. Anywhere you sit you can see the ice. Parking is $35 for an event. That sucks

I bought 3 pretzels at the Devils game and it was so bad we couldn't eat them. After spending 30.00 stay away from them...

Top notch Arena, great for the wonderful city of Newark. Great restaurants nearby, lots of inexpensive parking.

Beautiful building. The food is absolutely terrible. Horrendous traffic both in and out of the hockey game. Food is absolutely terrible.

Great arena, really close to the Newark penn station and main highways so it's easy to get to. Lots of parking options at around 25 to 40 dollars. Place inside is really nice with great views no matter where you sit.

The inclination of the place is excellent no body bathe you in front of you. I think in the high need more illumination and pantalla for the right and left side. A lot of parking lots around.

They searched my bag for food even though it was in a paper bag they refuse to let me in I was told to either it or throw it out. What really bothered me was there wasn't a sign indicating outside food wasn't allowed. I left.

Saw trans-siberian orchestra. It was amazing. If you see the devils/my team, dont be surprised when they loose.

Very high priced food and drinks not worth the prices

It was clean, felt safe with all the police but there were too many people smoking non cigarettes.....other than that, all had a great time.

The Prudential Center is awesome, especially when the Devils win! Go Devils! Rangers suck!

Attended many events and wandered all over. The place is a wonderful arena with places for many types of sporting activities. While the shops are high price like most stadium apparel shops, they do have what you need and of course I purchased a few items. Very good acoustics and line of sight in the arena is very good even high up. Easy to get to from from transportation lines.

Only been here once so far but I have 2 more shows coming up. Pay for parking in advance.

I am a Bigger person so the seats aren't as comfortable, but the wonder staff at the guest services accommodated me some seats that were completely comfortable. I was able to enjoy the concert and not having to worry about being uncomfortable.

Disney on Ice was a blast. Arena was clean, food was fine and kids had a blast. I'd have given 5 stars but we're still tallying up how much the visit cost us ;)

Huge place. Very cool. be careful if you're trying to sneak food or drinks in the security doesn't allow anything in.

I waited in line at Villa Pizza as well as a nacho stand for over 30 minutes.
Villa Pizza at 8:13 had no pizza ready? Really. The doors opened at 7:30! I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. The event had all ready started! Then I asked for Pepsi. One machine didn t work, she leisurely walks to another machine, that pepsi didn t work. She then screams to no one in particular we need Pepsi I finally told Robin Austin, you all are unprepared. She told me me it s not our fault if the managers I cut her off and told her to just give me the soda.
Also, I waited in line at a Nacho Stand. Three gentlemen moving as slowly as they could, one of them talking on a cell phone, I don t know Prudential s Policy but this can t be professional. After, finally getting my nachos and beer, imagine my surprise to find out the cheese is cold.
Patrons pay far too much money for this sub par service.

Went to the potential Center for a devil's event always enjoyable plenty of parking not overpriced no issues getting in or out and always clean.

Nice open venue for a concert. A bit of a trip out from the city. Had to subtract a star because it's so hard to get outta here after a show - they tend to shut down the PATH for a bit.

Good venue. Parking nearby is expensive, but it is pretty easy to get to and can be accessed from penn station.

Good venue, even if the game was a little disappointing.

Had seats in the nosebleeds and the concert was still amazing! Got there early and got wine, popcorn and a t-shirt with no lines! Stayed in the hotel connected to the stadium which was perfect.

Sound system is not the best. The performers' microphones kept going out.

I don t drink beer and the liquor is watered down... that sucked but that s expected. It s a decent size center. Lots of places to pay for parking. I actually parked in a near by neighborhood (for free) and too an Uber to this Venue.

Prudential Center needs to look at the Safety of the stadium seating arrangements they currently have, when standing and going to sit it feels like you are going to fall!!! Very dangerous for Senior Citizens!!!

This venue offered good seats, tasty food and convenient location. Event staff was well organized and I would frequent this venue again if the opportunity presented itself.

I love going to Prudential center to watch concerts. I've been going for the past 3 years to see KCoN. Sad that this year it is held in another venue. Would love to return for another concert.

Amazing but, a little crowded at night after big events

Came here for a hockey game and it did not disappoint. Sat second row near the goalie, best seats I've ever had.

So close to the action. The arena was nice, clean and was easy to get around.

Excellent food, super nice staff, always good vibes. They charge affordable rates and the food quality is very good. Great work.

BEST Arena to see match- Live Concert... Great view from every section...Should be in your 'To Do List' -

We had been there last week to see a live concert of Dream Team. It was Bollywood night and starts(Kat-Varun-Alia-Sid-Aditya-KJ-Pari-Badhsha) were performing on Bollywood item number.
We were upgraded from sec 231 to sec 2 and it was right in front of the stage. We had our time.

Do's-
1-Before booking ticket, you do check sitting arrangements and you might want good view through every section offers a great view but Preferences.
2- Even 500ml water bottle is $5 so it's way expensive so you wanna come with all fuel.
3-come before time, as it takes time to do a security check and go all the way to your seat. Instructions are very clear and attendants are courteous.

Newark Penn station is within walking distance.

We came here to see a concert for Seventeen in January 2020. We had a great night weather wise, no snow and temps well above average. Which meant lots of people gathering around and having fun before entering. Security was fast and efficient to get in. Lots of food and drink choices and prices were typical for a venue this size. We had section 4 lower level seats and the view was good. I was a bit nervous about the flooring - safety wise. Lots of jumping, dancing, bouncing happening and the floor the whole time was doing it too! But we all walked out alive and well. Great venue and we are looking forward to the next concert!!

Went to Monster Jam tonight. It was absolutely worth the trip. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I loved that they have someone in the elevator to help guests to where they need to go.

Staff a bit weird about dancing. I saw 2 people booted got it. Expensive drinks and parking tpp

Aging arena in a terrible city with a terrible hockey team.

Love going here for a nice date night or family time out i suggest using public transportation because parking can be difficult to find
