Highest recommendation for MAC repair. Did in one day. Totally responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. They were recommended by Apple Computers as we have a vintage (ten year old) MAC BookPro that Apple would not service. The AMDC team handled the issue brilliantly. Use your GPS to find the store, certainly worth it.

A great place to repair your computer. I went to apple store in Menlo Park Mall to fix the trackpad problem of my MacBook Pro 2017. I was told I needed to pay $ 795 because my warranty has expired. It is super expensive! So I went here to quote the prize. They told me I did not need to pay anything and there had been a recall program for my MacBook Pro because of the trackpad problem. Finally, they fixed the problem and helped me save a large amount of money. Thanks!

Amazing experience with Advanced Micro Distribution Channels! I brought my laptop to them for a rebooting issue. Alan and his team quickly diagnosed the problem as an issue with my video chip and quoted me a very fair price to repair it. Alan told me they'd need 5 days to order the part and perform the repair. Not only was my laptop ready on time, but they went above and beyond to ensure that my machine was working like new. I highly recommend them!

I have used AMDC in Edison to fix two of my macs. They are fast, reasonably priced and friendly! Most of all they really know what they are doing. They are a dream compared to working with Apple's service. I definitely recommend them.

I am so impressed and happy with the service from Advanced Micro Distribution Channels. I brought in my 2012 MacBook Pro that had slow performance issues, and Alan did a fantastic job diagnosing the issue. Within a day Alan called me to make sure I was OK with the work they would perform, and an hour later he told me my MacBook was fixed ready for pickup! They also cleaned the inside of the machine to remove dust! Excellent service from very nice people! I would absolutely recommend Alan and his team to anyone with computer issues. 10/10 awesome work & customer service.

Very knowledgeable, very experienced. I explained the problem and he quickly went to work to find out what was going on with my iMac. He came back to me the same day with his answer. I can not thanks you enough for being so honest, knowledgeable, customer oriented and brave to help people in need of help during this pandemic. I spilled coffee on my only line of communication for schooling and I went to a panic mode. I tool it to 2 computer stores with a very catastrophic prognosis. Out of desperation I contacted the Apple store at Menlo Park, NJ. They recommended AMDC as an option.
I contacted them and asked them for any advice. Even though they had no availability they scheduled me for after hour visit with free diagnostic policy which is amazing.
Alan is a honest, a genius with a golden heart. He called me next day at 6:30am with the news of data recovery and hardware repair by applying a chemical cleaning procedure without have to change any parts. I could not help crying for this level of honesty and kindness and service.

Very stressful time right now to have to leave my laptop for repair. Many reasons why it couldn't be worse for me, but this place was excellent and really helped reduce my concern. They did a great job and very fast and were very patient on the phone. I could not have been more satisfied and told them I'd be sure to leave them a nice Google review. A great place to solve your computer problems, both simple and severe.

Completely satisfied. Alan and crew were prompt, professional, and highly communicative. They even volunteered to contact apple on my behalf (as a 3 year old lightly used laptop shouldn t lose both its lcd and logic board simultaneously), and managed to basically cut my cost in half...or more as I probably would have been forced to just buy a new laptop otherwise. I m a first time customer too, so it s not like they knew me. Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent experience today at AMDC. I originally went to the apple store to have my battery replaced in my aging macbook pro. They told me it was on their list of "obsolete" products, however it is far from obsolete. Still working great, other than the now 7 year old battery lasting more than 2 hours. I emailed AMDC with my serial number, and what i wanted done, late at night. The next morning at exactly 7am on the dot, i receive an email saying they have the battery in stock, no appointment is needed and to just pop in and the battery will be replaced as well as an internal cleaning of the laptop in about 15 minutes. It was under 15 minutes, i was offered food and drinks while i waited, and had a nice conversation with Alan. I was also ensured that the battery that was going in my mac was a Genuine Apple replacement, not a cheap aftermarket brand. When it was done, the technician came and showed me that everything worked well, before i paid.

This was an overall excellent experience and because of that, if i have any computer related issues in the future that i cannot handle myself, i will absolutely be going right back to AMDC. Highly recommended!!!

I dealt with kim over email and she was extremely vague and rude when I was asking her questions. She told me to directly take my laptop to the apple store and not go to Advance Micro Distribution Channels because I told her I don't need my LCD replaced for $625 because it's working perfectly fine and the only thing that needed to be replaced is the Logo Baffle for a minor damage. I had to call apple and get a better apple repair place with better customer care/service.

I have a 2010 iMac with a hard drive that failed. I analyzed it with on-line assistance from Apple Care and determined the drive was shot and too old for the Genious Bar to handle. I took it to AMD in Edison w/ the analysis from Apple. They discussed my options for hard drive replacement as well as data salvage and reconstruction. I chose a solid state drive and they were able to recoup all of my data. I got the computer back within 4 business days and the price was what they quoted ($500-ish for parts, labor and salvage). They are sharp, courteous, and honest. Alan was terrific. I would highly recommend this shop f you have a hard drive/data salvage issue. It was one of the best computer repair experiences I have ever had (I'd give them 6 stars if I could).

Excellent service, quick turn-around! My battery had stopped charging/reached the end of its lifespan. Originally took it to Apple who said they needed 3-5 days to send it off for repair, but Advanced Micro Distribution was able to do it in just 2 hours. Couldn't be happier with the service!

Took my iMac to AMDC, Alan is a nice guy and knows what he's talking about. I dropped my computer off for a diagnostic due to kernel panic and the computer shutting down. The diagnosis was bad aftermarket RAM and a hard drive on it's way out. However my computer "worked" before I dropped it off. I decided not to have service done ($175), a new hard drive ($100) and new RAM ($100) on an old iMac. My issue is that when I got the computer home and replaced the RAM Memory with the OEM Apple version it would not turn on. I called and the first thing I heard was how they didn't make a dime off the diagnosis and that they gave me the list of problems. They were obviously able to get the computer on when they received it, didn't check to see if it operated as it did before I dropped it off... then leaving me with a problem when I got it home.

Their remedy after calling back was to take it somewhere else and best not to use them. I'm sure they are busy, don't have time to re-diagnose something for "free"... but i'm most annoyed about them not checking the computer functionality before giving it back to me and i'm worse off than I was before taking it there. Also would have helped rather than just handing me my free-service computer back to me, to actually show me the difference by either putting new RAM in the computer or something to convince me of the problem.

I also asked for a receipt of the service and the diagnosis of what was wrong with the computer when I got my computer back. Alan refused to give me a receipt documenting what was wrong and that he would only do so if I had PAID for the service. This worries me and shows that they wouldn't put the issues into writing. If you take a car to a mechanic, they diagnose what is wrong they would gladly put it in writing and give you a quote. This place would not do that which is common courtesy and normal business practice.

Would not go back... best bet is to get a new computer and deal with apple/microsoft directly under a warranty so I don't have to deal with 3rd party services.

I'm sure they do a great job if you pay for something to be fixed, that's how you stay in business. But wasn't thrilled with their for free diagnostic and how I received the computer.

I cannot thank Alan and the team at Advanced Micro Distribution Chnnels enough for fixing my MacBook. I was worried about taking my MacBook anywhere but the Apple store; however, upon arrival Alan greeted me and made me feel welcome. Alan then listened to my problem and gave me a timeline of 2-5 days to fix my MacBook. I was extremely shocked when Alan gave me a call the following day to let me know my MacBook was ready to be picked up. Upon pickup, I was greeted by a lovey woman and given my laptop. The team ensured that I was satisfied with the work completed before I left. Alan and the team went above and beyond any expectation I had and I cannot thank them enough for their work completed. My MacBook is back running smoothly and I am extremely satisfied. Do not be afraid to take any Mac product or computer to Advanced Micro Distribution Chnnels, they will do an excellent job. My first experience with AMD was several years ago when I brought my Macbook in for repair. I was 100% completely satisfied with every aspect of AMD s service. Price was fair, repair was perfect and done in fast. Alan, the owner, is super friendly and very knowledgeable. He will give you all your options and offer his professional opinion on what is the best,cost effective route to take. Since that first experience I have been to AMD several times throughout the years with several different brand laptops and Alan has pleasantly taken care of everything, every time.

The service I received from Advanced Micro Distribution Channels was amazing, perfect. I rarely leave reviews but felt I had to because of how wonderful this business was. I accidentally spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro and went into complete panic mode. My worst fear. My MacBook Pro is my lifeline for business and personal use. I emailed AMDC and within minutes Alan emailed me back and told me to bring my Mac in asap even though they were booked solid. He said he would take it asap bc liquid damage cannot wait. Long story short, Alan cleaned and fixed my MAC in less than 48 hours. He was able to save it. He also explained to me that my battery had been recalled by Apple and was able to help me replace that. Alan was beyond kind, helpful, and so knowledgeable with his work. I gave him my Mac on a Thursday and he offered to work overtime on Friday if he had to get it back to me before the weekend, which he did not have to do. My Mac was ready by Friday morning. The business also has wonderful COVID precautions in place for when entering. They wear masks, gloves, wrapped pens for you to use and take home. Alan and his business are beyond great, truly amazing experience and the price absolutely cannot be beat. Thank you to Alan and his entire staff.

i have used the services of Advanced Micro Distribution Channels serveral times for various devices over the last few years. Alan and his staff have ALWAYS provided me with outstanding & timely service. They practically rebuilt my 6 year Macbook Pro which gave me another 4 years good years from it.

Recently the hard drive failed and AMDC replaced it. But then 2 months later, (right at the start of the pandemic), the logic board crashed. I was desparate as i had to start working from home. Alan told me to bring computer and he was able to look at it that same day!

Alan said it may not be worth investing more $$ into a10 year old machine. He told me he could fix it, but was honest to say that machine could last for another year or two as software has already surpassed my hardware. The other choice, if my budget allowed, was to cut my losses and buy a new machine.

If i opted to purchase a new machinek and the hardrive was brand new, he offered to give me a full refund for the cost of the hardrive, including labor. He would wipe the hardrive clean and take it back before we tossed out the old computer.

I was floored by the offer. Who offers refunds of services/repairs rendered, especially at the height of a pandemic where business are closing right and left ? He had nothing to profit from me going to purchase a new machine.

Yet, maybe he did......he has won my loyality. Alan is one of the most capable, honest, honorable and ethical businessmen i have ever met. You will not be sorry using AMDC !

The service that I received from Advanced Micro Distribution Channel was BEYOND my expectation!! Allan and Kim were extraordinary with their high service level. My laptop broke on Friday, gave it in on Monday and I had it in hand on Wednesday. Even with COVID19 in place they both went above and beyond to help me.

I was referred to AMDC by the Apple Store after bringing my iMac in to the Genius Bar because it was extremely slow/lagging. After looking at my computer they immediately knew what the problem was. Super fast turn around, very friendly staff. Would give 10/10 stars if I could, thanks Alan & AMDC!

They were extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem with my MacBook, and gave me pricing for them to repair, and helpful advice even though it didn t profit them. Much more helpful than an Apple store since I was in and out in five minutes and didn t have to wait in line.

These people are so great. Friendly, competent and ethical. I thought my fan on my MacBook Pro was gone. They tested with the same results as Apple Genius. But when they inspected the fan, it had an obstacle that was cleared by cleaning. They recommended no fan replacement and only charged for the cleaning. I was so thrilled. My MacBook works like new. Thank you. I will return for other work in the future.

I am so so thrilled to give a meaningful review to the hard-working people who work here! My labtop broke during the COVOID crisis and my labtop is really my lifeline to stay in contact with my family and work! I panicked, knowing that the Apple Stores are closed, but found this little distribution center! Not only was I met with such kind people, like Alan especially, but everyone was so great about social distancing and so reassuring. They also were so knowledgable and able to give me really great advice about my labtop, and very honest! I so appreciated it. It really gave me such a sense of relief and my labtop was brand new in two days! I can't thank them enough! I told Apple how much it meant to me that during these times, people like them can be relied on! Thank you SO SO much! I think I might just go here instead of going to an Apple Store! :)

When my laptop suffered a catastrophic power failure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Alan and his incredible team quickly found the issue and helped me navigate the warranty process. Dropped off my laptop at 8:30, got a call at 9:30 for the price estimate, another call at 11:30 for the pick up time, and it was fixed & ready to pick up by 1. Amazing. Cheaper & faster than Apple Store, easier to make an apppintment as well.

Took my dropped MacBook Pro - with a black screen - to the Apple Store at Menlo Park Mall. After a few minutes in the back , the guy tells me it needs a new monitor...$479. No decimal point between the numbers...just $479. So, I said, No thanks, I ll fix it myself. He said, I understand. , and left.

After a quick google search for MacBook repair , Advance Micro was at the top of the search. Brought the notebook in this morning, and Alan turned it on, and the screen came right up.

So, the Apple Store must ve reseated the monitor cable, and then tried to get me to pay for a new screen .

The 5-star rating for Advance Micro is for Kim offering candy to my little girl. But still, for any, and all computer issues I may not be able to solve, you can bet Advance Micro will be the place to go.

The manager or owner, Allan, is extended accommodating and polite. My 5-year old MacBook needed a battery replacement and they were able to get it done in a timely fashion.

Hands down the best computer repair place! Unlike the regular Apple store, there was no wait at all and they were very helpful! Best Buy said it would be 2-3 weeks to fix my computer and cost $300. They had it fixed and cleaned in one day and much cheaper, thank you!

AMAZING, AMAZING The best experience I have ever had dealing with a computer service company. They were courteous, extremely knowledgeable, honest and genuine.
I took my 4 TB backup drive to them as a last resort after being told by a major recovery company that they could not help.
