I have a 2010 iMac with a hard drive that failed. I analyzed it with on-line assistance from Apple Care and determined the drive was shot and too old for the Genious Bar to handle. I took it to AMD in Edison w/ the analysis from Apple. They discussed my options for hard drive replacement as well as data salvage and reconstruction. I chose a solid state drive and they were able to recoup all of my data. I got the computer back within 4 business days and the price was what they quoted ($500-ish for parts, labor and salvage). They are sharp, courteous, and honest. Alan was terrific. I would highly recommend this shop f you have a hard drive/data salvage issue. It was one of the best computer repair experiences I have ever had (I'd give them 6 stars if I could).
