Lots of fresh meats and veggies. They have everything you could need. If you need to stock up for barbeques this is your spot.

Adams always has fantastic produce, a great butcher. It can be busy most times but is worth the time.

Love Adams great place to get hot food at hot bar also lots of samples good coffee always get a dark chocolate sea salt caramel from the candy shoppe great selection of retro candy as well and fudge great selection if teas and coffees also lots of ethnic goodies which I like the German section especially around Christmas time rum stollen phefanus cookies etc they also have a nice gift shop a bit pricey but nice as well as the non food section filled with garden needs and Christmas stuff again the German section can't be beat advent calendars with German chocolates from Germany incense from Germany as well as the hard to find pine incense yay also nice gifts as well as German gifts the Christmas scenes with the candles that make the fan on top go around the wooden cutouts great ornaments selection etc etc and I love there fall festival and winter festival live Christmas trees and wreaths and pine roping a burn barrel style pit pit free Christmas cookies cider coffee and hot chocolate reasonably priced hot cider donuts reasonably priced food sold outside Mac and cheese for 2.00 hot dogs burgers they have ornament making and sand making workshops and cookie decorating workshops music when we went they had the hornaments playing Christmas carols on brass instruments they have the Victorian carolers singing they have a horse drawn carriage ride with caroling and Santa in his winter wonderland with live reindeer a tunnel with christmas scenes nice outing for a few hours the fall festival has reasonably priced German food as well as other foods really good German potato salad free apple cider tunnel with autumn scenery I love adams

It was my first time going there. I thouht it to be small supermarket but it is bigger than i thought. The green house is Beautiful one of the best i have seen so far.

The Poughkeepsie store needs to be laid out less like a corn maze. I feel more comfortable navigating the subway system of a new city than I do the shelves of this store.

Always love Adam's. This Adam's has a wonderful nursery. I wish the inside was formatted more like the Adam's in Wappingers Falls but as always Adam's delivers on fresh produce.

If you are looking for a flower arrengement; this is the perfect place.
You can find arrengement as ship as 4.99! And they are so creative. The flowers are beautiful and fresh. They have beautiful arrengements!

Fresh meat and produce. Can get crowded. But the cashiers move the lines. Fair pricing and discounts on Wednesdays

We love this family run business. They always have what we need the employees are so nice. When I go we get fresh fruit & vegs, Boar's Head cold cuts at a good price & breads of all kinds, great quality meats & fish's, dairy products including fresh pizza dough & cheeses, flowers & Candy's, I also get all my wild bird food & suet cakes at a great price, now they opened the bakery inside the Poughkeepsie store I used to go to the Wappinger store to get the bakery items so I'm so happy bec there cheesecakes with fresh fruit are delicious, cakes & pastry also very good & at a great price. You can't go wrong at Adams. Mr. Adams would walk through the store everyday RIP to him & I'm sure he's very proud that his dream is still going strong with all the store's

Continues to be a local treasure with a variety of fresh produce and products with quality standards.

Stop and shop makes me sad after being in Adams. Better than whole foods, and not so uptight. And the service is top notch. A bit pricey but the quality of the products far exceeds those of any supermarket I've ever seen.

Our go to place for fresh produce. Sometimes too crowded, but that's because of the high quality of their products.

The store is poorly laid out, is poorly stocked, has a very limited/non-existent organic selection, and the staff and other shoppers are rude. If you absolutely must go to Adams Fairacre Farms, stick to the location on Rte 9.

Ice cream was gooood. The server bad attitude. Threw my cahange at me. My children even said she was rude for no reason

A favorite store in the Hudson Valley for most people who like fresh produce and fruits. Adams have stores in Kingston, Newburgh, Wappingers Falls in addition to this one. Good election and prices for fruits and vegetables and a nice collection of plants. Packed food is more expensive than regular chain grocery stores.

Great afternoon lunch and shopping. So much more than produce and local meats. The cafe was a nice treat and the food was good with many options.

Better than Zabar's ever was. Great on local produce especially the Hudson Valley meats. It is like having your personal butcher. Good price value. Definitely beat out the other 'local' chains in Westchester. Tried them all. AFF are the best.

One of my favorite places to shop for vegetables and fruits. Not to mention their amazing assortments of cheeses. Great value for the products they offer and customer service is excellent. Definitely a go to place for my shopping.

For processed foods and supplies you are better off going to a big box store because their prices are better, but for anything fresh, this is the place, hands down. The produce is fantastic, the meats and fish are so much better than supermarkets, the coffee is spectacular, and in general we are so lucky to have Adams around here.

Th girls where very helpful with helping me make my daughter's birthday cake. The cake was delicious.

Adam's is the best, my favorite! So much variety with food and amazing home and garden. Reasonably priced, high quality...always stocked up...pleasant staff and efficient checkout, never a long wait....they could use a bigger parking lot but hey, if that's your only problem you're doing pretty good.

Farm/grocery store. Some higher prices but well worth the visit. Hot table foods to take out, salad and soup bar, coffee roaster, cheeses from all over and the freshest produce, dairy, meat and fish. It's a wonderful place.

Since i was a child i loved Adams. Every Sunday after church my parents would take us to Adams. We would get home and have sandwiches & watch football, baseball. Well i have shopped there every week ever since. Love the Garden Shows the most. So i am in there today, mind you i have spent $250 in the last 3 days there, and i payed for my groceries. Had a little left so i went back into isles. NEVER left the store just went back to get salad from the deli. I had 3 people following me around like i was going to steal. So i got my macaroni salad and grabbed a pack of hot dogs. When i checked out i purposefully left the dogs in my cart to prove that i was being followed. Went to check out and only put the salad on the belt. Sure enough the 3 that were following me were standing at my checkout and right away asked "What about those hotdogs?" That proved that they were following me watching me. I was pissed. I still am. I had just spent over $50 and over $250 in last 3 days, then they basically tell me I was stealing??? To hell with Adams. They profile there. I am 35 but was in work cloths so i looked ragady i will admit. But for them to profile loyal customers by looks is pathetic! Im sure they do that to black people and people that look out of place shopping there. I am pissed! I set a trap and they took the bait. Shame on ADAMS! This happened at the Poughkeepsie location. Never again will i shop there! Never.

Adam's has some of the best food selection in the Hudson Valley. Their meet department is second to none. Local pork, veal, beef, chicken, etc is phenomenal. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable for the quality.
