I always stop at an Adam's whenever I am near one. When will there be one in Monticello?

They have the highest quality products and I love the large number of local products they carry.

We recently needed to have a new fence installed around our backyard. We contacted Dutchess Building Specialists for their recommendation because they have done several projects for us; they gave us one and only one name, Adams Fairacre Farms. We contacted Josh at Adams. Josh gave us several options in different price ranges, explaining many options. After making our choice, the scheduling for the new installation was just a few weeks. The three gentleman who did our installation were top notch! They were on time, dealt with any issues as professionals, explained what they were doing as the progressed, cleaned up everything as they went along leaving the place cleaner than when they came, and gave us a beautiful fence that complements our home well. Don't hesitate to contact Adams for your fencing needs!

Farm Fresh Food. Large selection. Not the cheapest place to shop but I feel you get high quality items for your money.

Fresh produce, desserts. Fish selection is great. Always check the expiration date on specialty items and chicken. I've gotten rotten stuff a couple of times. However, Adam's definitely let me exchange it for a fresh item.

Great local store. Fresh veggies and a deli/meat Department fills your needs.

This Adams used to be a really good shore Now this is the worst Adams ever! People who work there are incompetent and obnoxious. Most of the customers who go here are imbeciles and have meltdowns in the store in front of everyone and was very crowded long line at deli.

Had everything we wanted in out and home with spectacular produce!

but; ARE THEY ORGANIC?
Or..pushing GMOs??
Does the people of the "Hudson Valley" even care?
Or are they simply ignorant?
They say "ignorance is bliss"...

They have updated their store a bit with a brand new bakery which is very good. And ordering a sandwich will cost you extra if you combine turkey with roast beef or ham or pastrami. Their cheeses and meats are very good. Their macaroni salad is very tasty. The crackers and the dips are tasty. And the bananas and oranges are very fresh not spoiled.

Upscale food market with best produce, meats, deli, coffee selection and seafood. Great milkshakes too. Prices on most items are often less than traditional supermarkets with much higher quality.

Have a place to sit & eat..we had breakfast it was delicious & hen bought a plant I've never seen before.

Produce is not what it used to be. Disappointed, loyal shopper from the old days.

The food is pretty fresh. Lots of registers so it's easy to get in and out.

This grocery store is falsely known to the local community as having all organic food, on my first visit to the store I had trouble finding organic food bc the organic section is extremely limited. Everything organic here is wrapped in plastic and often styrofoam. This store clearly does not grasp the concept that many people consume organic, not only for their health but for the environment as well.

This grocery store is our absolute favorite. During our time staying in a hotel less than 4 miles away for 2 weeks, we have likely went every other day to get some of the pre-made food and have barely been disappointed with anything we have purchased there. Highly recommend even just for a quick meal to pick up or to find groceries of any kind. It's an adventure everytime to see what new things they have.
Recommendations: The harvest chicken salad, cheese danish ring, Swedish meatballs, butternut squash raviolis from the hot bar.
Warnings: We purchased a carrot cake from the bakery section that was prepackaged, but by the next day it was already producing mold on it. The same has happened with our bagels purchased there too
Be cautious of the freshness of products, especially the baked goods made in house.

Great sale on patio furniture. Helpful service and even loaded purchase in truck. Usually only purchased from their quality produce and meat sections and gardening areas. This year have discovered what I was missing. Made earlier in season purchase and have been very happy. Recommend you give them a try.

Always loved Adam's from. Fresh produce and all k7nds of food. Locally grown foods. Just a great experience.

Went to pick up milk and cold cuts. Picked up my usual and went to the check out. I didn't notice that the cold cut package was opened, and when the casher scanned it and put it in the bag, the meat fell out onto the floor. The cashier showed to me after I had paid for it. I took it back to the deli for replacement. When I got home, I realized that they replaced it with a lesser amount of meat. It was the expensive ham, but I guess they figured that I wouldn't notice the difference. Next time it happens, I will be returning it to the service desk, and hope they don't charge me a service fee for the return.

Can't find what you are looking for in the average now grocery store...try Adams

Some items over priced. In general better foods in meats and veggies. Plants check for bugs.

ORGANIC local vegetables, clean premises all you need in one place

Great family owned super farm market.. They grow their own organic and non organic produce as well as source out to our local farmers in the area. Not only do they grow their own annuals and perennials they also source out as much as possible to local growers. They have a great Seafood Dept. A great selection of meats from local farmers. The Meat Dept also sells grass fed and organic beefs. Free range chicken and organic. A great selection of cheeses and coffee here locally and globally. The store in general is prized on providing locally made products. They truly understand the value of keeping it local to their community while also providing great products both near and abroad! The customer came up with Adams catchphrase "I Love That Store!" That was naturally adopted throughout the company!

For fresh, cheap, and local produce, Adams can't be beat. Their cheese selection is amazing, and often they are sampling their cheeses that are on sale. Come for the country atmosphere and unique items, but don't plan on getting your typical packaged items like chips, cereal, etc. - these will be cheaper at another store.

Always luv Adam's, its very busy but that only ensures the freshest ingredients and foods they provide. Yum yum yum.

I plan to shop here more when I'm not as busy. I buy from their candy shop for gifts for the females in my family who love sweets. Staff is friendly. Also if you're moving they certainly have boxes.

Anything to eat they got it. Try their food first it is the best to eat veggie , meat, crafts, people willing to help

Adam's is always a pleasure! Weather you want fresh produce,a quick bite or holiday decorations. Sometimes a bit pricey but very nice.

Really big and nice place with good variety of products that can be tough to find elsewhere.

My favorite place to shop. Beautiful fruits and vegetables, and usually less expensive than the inferior produce sold in the supermarkets. Fabulous helpful staff, and never a long wait at the extremely well-staffed deli counter. Special kudos to Adams fresh squeezed orange juice. When my out of town friends and family visit me, the first place they want to go is Adams.

Adam's is where I do my weekly shopping for meats and vegetables. You can always get the regular things, but they carry a lot of special items too, like international cheese. They pack in paper bags, which is a plus. Still lots of plastic though. Bakery is nice, pastries and breads. What I know less and less is how much local they buy, sometimes feels like another supermarket.
But the flowers and plants are the best in the area, lots of backyard items.

Adams is a treat to shop! Looking for a certain tea, an excellent cut of organic meat or a lovely gift at a reasonable price...Adams is a one stop shop!

Great selection of interesting foods, but usually insanely crowded.

Great store - has many specialty items that can't be found locally. On Wednesday evenings they have a 10% customer appreciation discount from 5 pm until closing on everything in the store except their items from the already reduced produce cart. Adams has a fresh fish market, deli, hot table, salad bar and meat market in addition to a huge produce section, etc. This location does not have its own bakery, however, probably because they have a separate bakery business on their property.
Of course, Adams is well know for its indoor & outdoor nurseries and farm equipment, but not being much of a gardener and definitely not a farmer, I can't provide much info about that, except to say that I have a friend who is a Master Gardener who does her shopping here.

I love going to Adam's they have a lot of organic food from local farms. They also have a very wide selection of hot food. They have mac and cheese, wings, veggies, salads, soups a great place to go for a quick bite or lunch.

Food is AWESOME. Parking lot often resembles a bumper cars ride at the fair. Enter parking lot at your own RISK

Never disappointed with my shopping experience at Adams. Staff is always helpful . Especially love their plant nursery.

What a wonderful store. Really great staff. Beautiful plants and flowers. Terrific deli with Boars Head meats and cheeses. I purchase something at the cheese department almost every time I am in the store. The wings at the hot food are delish. Also the sushi is pretty darn good. I love that store.

Stopped by for a quick roadside bite to eat one evening. The food from the ice cream shop/grill was just ok. But the main market was a revelation. Lots of good looking produce, an adequately stocked grocery section, a butcher shop, and a candy section that had more types of chocolate than I've seen almost anywhere else.

The restaurant quality prepared foods are bland as hell Many of Adams own brands are full of High Fructose Corn Syrup (esp jams) Their vegetables for some reason always go bad faster than those of the major grocery chains Their prices are the HIGHEST in Dutchess county Many of the produce are not locally sourced but shipped in from the same places as the other grocery stores For the prices and quality its a very disappointing place to shop at.

Best quality and selection of meats and vegetables at the best prices. Always busy yet there is never a long line to check out.
