Excellent produce, well stocked variety of foods including Italian specialties, cheeses, delicatessen, fresh buffet, though no alcohol containing beverages.

Whether you need a quick fresh salad, or you needed something to take home to your family that's delicious, enjoy Adams this is the place to go!

The best place in the area for fresh produce and meats. It is on the smaller side, so I go early on Sunday mornings when they crack the doors open 15 minutes before the posted opening time. Everyone is helpful and friendly and even if you forget your quarter for the shopping cart (area regulation), they will give you one for free! Love this market!

Know matter were you go in life you get what you pay for and at this place you get your moneys worth.

Fantastic grocery store expanded across several locations throughout the Hudson Valley in New York is like a cross between a Whole Foods/health food store type and a New York City grocery and deli food market! With a Bakery, Sweet shop, Seafood Merchant, Deli, a coffee bar with over 100 types of beans and customizable grind, it might be a bit joyfully overwhelming upon your first visit. Let's not forget the awesome array of international cheeses, at least a type for almost every country, local fresh produce along with exotic and rare produce, local farm condiments such as honey, Maple syrup, and molasses, and selections of botanical beverages that you won't see everyday. There's also a soup bar, and a hot food bar, buffet style, free to your choosing and priced at checkout. Of course you can pick up your everyday, familiar brands and foods, but if your on a budget, you may want to avoid what you could buy at your nearest discount grocery store as the familiar brands are a deep dive into the wallet, so much as the prices match proportionately to the majority selection of each grocery section. Don't let that stop you though, there just some items that you can find an Adams that you'll never find anywhere in the Hudson Valley, so to me, it's worth it. They "get it" and they have some of the best, and freshest meats, produce, and fish. They have a breakfast hub where customers can come and get a delicious breakfast and fresh brewed coffee until about 11am. Last but not least, there is another section with mentioning though I've not visited this particular section of the store yet- but Adams has a Home and Garden center. Observing from the inside as you drive by, you will see all along the exterior, trees, plants, seasonal flowers and more. If ever in Poughkeepsie, (particularly The Arlington), this is a place to drop in!

Adam's has a very fresh selection of vegetables and fruits. I was also please with there wide selection of Fish and sea food. I was very please with the customer service. I will be very please to return.

Excellent supermarket, where fruit and vegetables are always fresh! I really like it very much, they have a wide choice of products, and the fish counter offers good quality. I recommend it to everybody!

Went in for fresh hard rolls...was not disappointed. salad bar was full and looked fresh.

Way to crowded. I feel like I'm in a maze when I'm inside. If you want actual good food to cook go there, but make sure you bring about $50 extra to whatever your budget was going to be from stop and shop. I just bought a salad, a wrap a soup a sandwich and a water with my gf and it cost me $27...the wrap and sandwiches were pre made, the soup was definitely progresso but a smaller amount then what's in the can, and I had to make my own salad. You do the math.

I always love going to Adam's. They such a great selection of fresh vegetables and a great fish market. I also can't wait for tomorrow Match 1 they have there flower spring show. I buy all my flowers there.

Wish there was a place like Adams where I live, miss this place it never disappoints.

Adams is a Gourmet Farmers market, opened in 1919 as a side road fruit stand and Grew into a well known Farmers Market . They strive for excellence and always focus on the customer. That's why the saying goes I LOVE THIS STORE ! The friendliest employees and the service is far beyond what you would ever expect, the service is phenomenal

The bakery is to crowded hard to really look as you may knock something down with your cart

The festival they had was awesome. They have local foods here. I love that.

I love this place. Everything is very fresh. They have a bakery and they make handmade chocolates. Lots of free samples.

I made a special trip to pick up my favorite ham salad at Adams this morning, it looked different, but I bought a couple containers anyway.. This is a different recipe from their usual quality, looks like cut up pre-sliced ham?? Wth?? Awful flavor as well!

Also chicken salad w grapes and cranberries, looked AWFUL on salad bar for 7.99, At 8:30 on 1/14/20, their same packaged was 8.99, looked MUCH better again, WTH??

WHAT HAPPENED TO THEIR QUALITY CONTROL??!! I won t go out of my way again for their salads...

Has a fresh, local, crisp neat feel to it. The produce is of high quality and the layout of the entire market is pleasing to the eye. Great variety and yes it is a bit pricey unless they have deals....but you get your money's worth

I'm from the area so I guess I'm biased. Adam's is one of the best stores in the area. I'm really big on customer service and that's all they have. Great. Customer. Service! Whether you call up or in the store everyone is so approachable and pleasant. That goes for both Dutchess and Wappinger locations

Excellent place to shop for food items especially fruits, vegetables and meats. They have a lot of specialty items. A great place for holiday shopping Everything is fresh and workers are friendly. Prices are good for food items but other grocery items are a little bit pricier than at larger supermarkets.

I live in Chicago but needed flowers from the area for a proposal plan. As I have minimal knowledge about flowers, I described what I wanted and left the rest to them. The bouquet they made for my proposal was STUNNING. They clearly put genuine effort into making their customers happy!! Highly recommend them.

I love this place <3 the staff are levels of friendly that are unfathomable! The freshness of the food is unmeasured! Unfortunately there are so many rude customers when I go.

This is the least favorite of all the Adams stores I have shopped at and I still give it 4 stars! There is a fabulous selection of fresh fruits and veggies many of which are grown locally. The fish market always has what I'm looking for and the meats are much better quality than the ones at major supermarket chains. The best is that you find things here you can't find anywhere else. Prices vary and those hard to find items carry a higher cost but overall the prices are reasonable. The only reason I took a star away at this particular location is because parking sucks and the store itself is so packed that it's hard to navigate at times.

What can I say, the salad bar is so good, you just can't leave without buying some "mouth watering entre". They have the best fruits and vegetables in the Hudson valley, they work with local farms in the Hudson valley. Don't forget to visit the bakery.

This is the best Adam's, and really the best grocery store for fresh products in the Dutchess area. I love the variety of produce and meats that they carry, they usually have a new something that I have never tried, which I love. All their produce and meat and dairy products are priced well and always super fresh. The amount of cheese they carry is incredible!
One negative would be that other products are a bit in the pricy side, but hey, no one is perfect.
They also have a whole section for beautiful (and well priced) flowers and gifts.

Must go to Adams! The fresh fruits and vegetables are always outstanding. The meat selection is great. I especially appreciate that there is a selection of package sizes in the meats. Boars head cold cuts are top quality. For fresh grocery items it had to be Adams!

The quality of the produce is wonderful, and other products, meat, seafood and bakery are consistently high quality too. It would be nice if the parking lot was less crowded, but I guess that's the effect of their successful efforts to excel.

They have the best homemade apple cider donuts during harvest season.

The best store ever! It's pricey but worth it. Excellent produce at affordable prices. Love spending time just walking through the store. Everything from bakery, deli, fish market, great meat department featuring local farms & their homemade sausage. Gift shop, candy department, coffee and cheese's. Just an amazing store!

Produce, meat, baked goods - it is all always fresh and delicious. And produce lasts up to two weeks in my fridge without any signs of going bad - produce bought at most other local grocery stores is bad within a few days!!
