Went to Adams yesterday and just want to say thank you to all the staff working so hard! One member of the staff went out of his way to find me an item I needed for my mother-in-law who should not be out at this time. I received smiles from so many of the staff which was appreciated during this stressful time. So grateful to all of you for being there! Best place to find fresh produce and locally sourced food!

Today I went to Adam's Poughkeepsie location I was in the bakery wanted to purchase Danish, but flies were in the case sitting on the Raspberry Danish. I told 2 bakery staff one was loading the case she said yeah we have a fly problem. She left the Danish in there I told both of them I could not purchase any that it was disgusting. Nothing was done. Maybe the Dutchess board of health should do an inspection.

Love their products and selection of produce, can be pricey but it is worth it. When it isn't crowded, I enjoy taking my time and touring the greenhouses. Their flower selection is amazing.

Everything was great here, top notch! The food from their hot bar was to die for! I did have an issue with the cashier I had but I spoke to the front end supervisor and she took care of it right away. The only thing I didn't like which isn't Adam's fault at all is how RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL some of the customers were. Come on really, a little elderly lady told me to "MOVE OUT OF HER WAY" and another customer in their 40's told meto "HURRY UP CAUSE SHE HAD OTHER PLACES TO BE, UNLIKE ME IT LOOKS LIKE"

Great selection of produce, seafood, meat, and ethnic items. Friendly staff to boot. Reasonable prices for produce, but not good for household items.

Adam's has expanded so much within the past year. It is hard to get re-familiarized with where everything is now placed in the once road side farm stand. Adams has a great selection for most items. I shop at Adam's specifically for their locally raised, grass fed, antibiotic and hormone free chicken, beef, pork, etc. Their veggies selection is amazing and always farm fresh. The specialty coffee bar is great! So many choices behind the counter of whole bean coffee to ask for. A friendly employee will grind it so you can take it home. The coffee conteseur, one in particular, has great suggestions on which coffee to try based on likes and dislikes. I try not to venture near the bakery area. Too tempting! Did I mention there is a soup station? About six different types daily. Seasonally, lobster bisque. So yum!!! If you are a fish person, their fresh fish department is a must see. Too much to tell about Adam's, apparently. Beware that the parking lot and store is usually packed. Well worth the hectic surroundings to experience all that Adam's has to offer.

Unique items for sale fresh produce though the prices are a little on the high side.

Parking was not easy and the store is still under renovation. Found the staff extremely nice and there selection was adequate. I would highly recommend them for your next outing. They are doing their best to run a business and service the customers. I would give them 5 stars once the renovations are completed.

Great assortment of produce, excellent selection of cheeses (including local), high quality groceries. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I will not host a party or special dinner without a stop at Adams.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful at Adam's. Definitely my favorite store in this area.

Great family owned store, helpful staff, a huge selection of things not typically found at your local chain grocery store. Lots of local items including fresh produce. A big salad bar, prepared hot foods daily, desserts, seafood, meats, a sweet shoppe, bakery. You name it, they probably have it. The only gripe I have, is that some of the prices seem a bit high. Certain things I will buy elsewhere.

This place is a one stop shop for fresh meats, fresh vegetables. Full Nursery. Bakery, Day Spa, Buffet lunch. Usually crowded but staff very curious and handles crowd well. No long wait in check out lines. Prices reasonable with some wxceptions

Best place around for fruits and vegetables. Nice selection of cheese, dips, and cream cheese spreads. Meat and fish are fresh and perfect for grilling.

The grocery and prepared foods are pricey ...but they are specialty and quality products. It not where I stock my pantry but everyone knows they have the best and biggest varieties of produce in the area. The parking is poorly designed and always a pain, in addition to rather consistent traffic.

Adams is great place for cold cuts, meats and produce.

Went to bakery in Poughkeepsie and got a napolean and cupcake. Cupcake had about 3 days on it and napolean had bad cream. Tasted ransid and was one lump, not creamy. I hate getting slid old bakery items. I will not try again the bakery anymore.

Best quality, though pricing is high, you can still find great bargains. I find their bedside manner lacking though.

This place has tons of stuff to look at. They have a grocery section,plant, gift shop, eatery, bakery and spa. Lots for everyone.

Anywhere that you go in at lunch and there is a big stack of let's say broccoli, and then you come back at night and that stack is being replenished, you know it is fresh.

Always such a varied selection of prepared salads which is what I went there for on this visit. Wheatberries! A little pricey but no other store around has the delicacies and selections they have.

Very cool place. Best described as a farmers market as the produce is all local and delicious. There are also nice craft-style sections, for example a chocolate section that is all homemade and very very tempting. There is also food and ice cream available outside but clearly attached and part of Adams. While I didn't grab a bite there were plenty of folks sitting with burgers, hot dogs and soft serve dessert. Tempting. This is a good place to go AFTER you've eaten because hot dang, if you go hungry you'll end up eating all the things. A+

Karl in the tractor department is the best of the best.

Cannot think of a better place to shoot pool for groceries and in-house prepared foods. These include vegan offerings.

Great store. Fresh local produce with great prices, everything else is expensive although many organic and local options for those who can afford it.

What is there not to love?
Bright, clean, friendly, fresh.

The best produce, vegetables, freshest fish, meat, cold cuts, salads, and the nicest people. A great store who cares about old fashioned (samples galore) values. Check outs are fast and courteous. Plus they have an ice cream place with a they cook for you dining area. Ya gotta just go and look around !!

Best store for miles, fresh veggies and fruits, cheeses of all kinds however they are pricey.

The food is always fresh and of high quality. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. And, I love that you can buy only what you need -- no bundles of broccoli when I only want one stalk, and no bags of bananas when I just want two.
I do 99% of my shopping at Adam's.

This store has it all. If you want to shop for groceries or looking for something different you won't find in the local supermarket
