Lady in car PPO 17616 1889 was driving like she owns the streets doing a lot of illegal u-turn and driving on the opposite side of the street blocking traffic and threatened with arrest a person who was doing a first amendment audit in Mulholland drive very close you a church. Shame on her, very poor training and the worst, she have permit to use a gun. Be aware
We do not use ACS for security. A couple hours ago a ACS security guard entered my property and urinated on a fence in my parking lot. We pay for security guards to prevent people from doing this - not do do it themselves.
This disgraceful act was captured on video. The security proceeded to follow me around demanding to know who I was, where I lived, what car I drove. Really creepy stuff.
I called the cops to file a police report, but called back and cancelled police response. I'd don't want to waste police resources and put a security guard on the sex offender list for this. I'll settle for letting his supervisors know and seeing how that fits with his security guard career.
Three times I requested my papers & mail be picked up. Three times I arrived home to all of my papers on my driveway & my mail & packages by my front door.
The 1ST time I was expecting the job to be done.
The 2ND time I was hopeful.
The 3RD time I was just stupid to expect ACS to do what they promised me they would do.
I sent photos from the 2ND experience & talked to & emailed with the person in charge.
Obviously they do not want my business.

The worst. If I could give zero stars, I would. We were recently burglarized and while the thugs were on my front steps, an ACS car cruised by....which I find suspicious. The thugs broke in and the alarm went off. No ACS car ever showed up until after we got home. Shameful for what we pay. I lost all my jewelry! This company is worthless. And I question their ethical and honesty.
Best decision we ever made is going with ACS. Very Professional, very responsive and has saved us much disruption situations on many, many occasions. Our family does not know what we would do without them.
This company is the worst when it comes to home security. They do not respond when alarms go off, and cannot be depended on. this is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I called to complain and Marla from billing cursed me out and hung up on me. Stay far away from these scammers.
This security company is contracted with ADT and has been doing a horrible job, never returned 3 of my phone calls, Luke, Yasmin and their manager Stephanie are the worst people working in customer service industry. Wish I could cancel my 2 year contract and take my business somewhere else. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this company.
What terrible service! What thuggish employees! What horrendous customer service. We had another company monitoring our alarm, but because ASC is in our neighborhood they convinced us to hire them to patrol (that is, respond if necessary with armed patrol when alarms that come in). We did, and then when we complained they were doing subpar work, they told us that's because they can't possibly do a good job patrolling if they are not the monitoring company. So, we fired them. And they have been taking it out on us ever since. Save yourself the trouble - don't do business with ACS. Every month or so, a different employee calls up and insists we signed a contract for FIVE YEARS when we signed nothing of the kind. Demanding payment when they've been informed repeatedly in writing and orally that we hired someone else to patrol our alarm response. I am so disgusted. I wish we'd never come in contact with them. Do business with ASC at your peril.
Arrived back to my house today to be met by an "officer". I'm sick and tired of being marketed to with fear as the medium. One of the very first things he said to me was "if you take a look on the back of this piece of paper, you'll see all of the houses that have been burgled in the area"
If there is anything that makes me want to use a service less I can't think of it. If you have to scare your potential customers into hiring you what does that say about your business practices?
He then went on to say even though I have a dog, it's not enough, it's not enough, it's not enough. Do you even know me? Do you even know the neighborhood. Apparently not as you saw fit to park three feet from the kerb facing the wrong way down the street.
Didn't even think to ask me if I already had an alarm, was I a home owner, etc... If your pay structure is that bad that your employees have to go after commissions that aggressively then you need to look at how you do business.

Horrible service. I am a current customer. Constant false alarms at late hours w/ guards waking family. Very hard to get good customer service and repairs after a contract is signed. I m very disappointed w/the 30+ false alarms I ve had on their end the last few months. They said my sites are crossed w/ another customer but uncertain how to fix. Waking me up in the middle of the night is so far is their only answer.
About a year ago I switched from ADT because I see the yellow ACS trucks more often. They have been very professional and their service has been very helpful

Ever since ACS took over from ADT it has been a complete nightmare! slow almost non-existent response times, rude security personnel, and overall just a horrible company. we have switched to a different security company and would recommend you do the same.. not only are the rates starting to climb through the roof, if you ever need them for whatever reason, they will do nothing when they get there. they might ask a few generic questions but thats about all that will happen. you will be much better off just contacting LAPD right out of the gate. for the love of god do not use ACS
My experience with ACS began when a very cocky salesman named Durwin, came to our home to provide an estimate. The intended meeting regarding our needs assessment was second to him focusing on the sleeves of his arms to make sure his muscles stood out. He proceeded to tell us about all of the things he himself has done and does personally and professionally regarding safety and bragged about all of the people he was currently signing up in the area. He proceeded to belittle ADT as we were looking to make a switch by disregarding putting down their services and telling us our money is as good as wasted. When asked why ACS was better, his response was better service. One shocking comment made was him saying that people price comparing was not an important part of making a decision, and that their clientele is dominantly based in Beverly Hills and Bel Air as well as covering surrounding areas. Durwin also made a comment that they do not want the business of people not wanting to pay the premium for services. Professionalism? None whatsoever. In his pitch, he promoted armed patrol (with his personal stories to validate reasoning) and emphasized how well our area of Sherman Oaks is covered compared to ADT's service. We subscribed to the patrol service for a variety of reasons yet never seeing a patrol vehicle in the area, only parked at a local gas station with several other ACS vehicles. When I called to follow up, the response from ACS was that the response time in our area was the fastest due to where we are located. The neighbors on our street that also have ACS have either never seen an ACS vehicle on our street or have cancelled it for lack of value.
We were advised to do random testing to make sure our services were transmitting properly and upon doing so, never once received a call from ACS to follow up on the alarm.
Customer service- I have called in numerous times to speak with someone regarding our account and reached voicemails several times, whether calling in or being transferred. I also attempted to cancel the patrol service months ago as it proved to be ineffective (despite the growing number of crimes in our immediate area) yet have been charged every month. When I first spoke with the billing department, I asked what the issue was told there was a change in ownership and some records were not correct.

One word. Ripoff. Install system with 2-year contract. When system has problem, push for you to purchase new system, or without due diligence propose to install replacement equipment with 1000% markup over cost. Avoid. Much less expensive option elsewhere.
Think before you made a contract, as a customer of ACS for more than a year, I was so impressed with their customer service, they have received cancellation request and told me it's in the process and going to take more than 30monts,
30 Months, which is doesn't make any sense.
So active and kind when they tried to make contract, but when it comes to cancellation, I thought I was in the DMV.
Please people, think twice before you chose this company,
ACS Security is extremely professional and efficient. They came to our house within a couple days of our initial contact, Scott provided a quote within hours and scheduled our install just a few days later. The team was polite and moved quickly. We were home with a newborn during the install and they worked around us without any issues. Tyler spent at least an hour helping to set our phones and computers up and took extra time to make sure the camera angles and clarity were perfect. We highly recommend this company and are so glad we made the investment in our home security and peace of mind!

Can t get their service department to call me back. Left on hold for 20 minutes after making 5 calls to their office. Not good!!!!
Salesman sold is Patrol only to not get Patrol but armed response only. Customer service is terrible. They actually argued with my wife. Camera stopped working after a month. Service came by and never knocked, but only left a "Sorry we missed you" card on the door.
Going back to ADT and Ving Rames.
used ACS Security on one of my properties in WLA.. had some issues with the homeless trying to make the parking area into a camp ground with some shopping carts & card board.. ACS assigned a uniformed guard there for about a two weeks. .have no more problems.. will definitely recommend this company. .GREAT JOB !!

Its just a very friendly bunch of people. A pleasure to have around when I have occasion to call on them.
As ACS grew larger and took on more clients, their monitoring center became slower and slower and unable to give an estimated time when patrol could arrive for assistance. This resulted in such a slow response time that friends and family members came to my home faster. Paying for such poor service makes no sense. One is better off without ACS or paying more for quality service and prompt response time.
Call again and again to report the same issues and they never fix the problem. Each time I call it is as if they are hearing this for the first time.

When LAPD response time is 30 minutes and greater...Community based policing is where it's at.

Recently installed the ACS system. Nice, long time, white haired salesman pitched - ACS responds much quicker than ADT; ADT is based in Florida. With all the terrible weather in Florida ADT s system often gets bogged down and LAPD only has one officer in our area - whereas ACS is based in our area and is more responsive etc. etc. Recently I called ACS to dispatch a patrol officer immediately because the problem person of concern showed up at my front door while i was away and created a panic with my family. The dispatch officer said they were on a shift change and could neither dispatch someone right away nor provide an estimated time when they could. As far as I know they never sent a car. Multiple police cars had shown up, however, as someone had called 911 (so LAPD is more responsive? Not what ACS claimed). AT 9:00 PM 10 DAYS LATER ACS showed up at my house to FOLLOW UP ON THE INCIDENT. I was not home but my wife was concerned about why they showed up randomly at such a late hour. Several times I texted the original salesman about my concerns. He did not respond to texts but I finally reached him by phone. He told me ACS would patrol at random hours nightly for 7 days. I observed them on my security camera patrolling ONLY ONCE. They did not even slow down as one would expect. Just quickly drove by. I am very disappointed in this service thus far.
Easy to recommend CA Security Cameras. Quality product and great service. Good working relationship with both George and Joe. I have used their services in two large buildings and have no regrets. Highly recommend.
I have been a customer for 20 years and recently needed to update my system. Steven reviewed my entire system and came up with a new proposal at an excellent price. Steven is professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. ACS Security monitoring and service overall has been excellent.
This company is a total scam. I would give them negative stars if I could. They come to your door repeatedly to solicit business while promising you the world and then once you sign up, they completely drop the ball. My ACS alarm installer botched my installation, not to mention, he never put my current alarm system in test mode when he was installing the new one. The police came and I was sent a bill from the city for almost $400 for a false alarm. After a TERRIBLE experience, I cancelled my service before it even began. They have still not refunded me the $700+ they owe me for the false alarm and service that I never activated. DO NOT USE ACS!!!
Horrendous company, switching to ACS was the worst decision we've made in a long time. Rude, indifferent, even accusatory customer service. The system they reinstalled blew out in about 3 months. They blamed the previous company, even though ACS replaced all of the previous company's equipment. After literally weeks of wrangling, they finally replaced their faulty equipment (allegedly at no charge), but still tried to bill us for the change. Awful people, awful service. Avoid at all costs!
The lady that drives the car. She hit the curb as you leave the community. Has damage to the vehicle. (rightside of passanger bottom door with markings).

This Blonde Lady needs more training on how to comeup to people instead of foul language. I never seen a SECURITY person act like she has. Your Security people need ALOT of Training.

This company is a scam. I got home security through Acs. They hooked up my system incorrectly. Then never came out to correct it. Then the system stopped working after a couple months. They never came out to fix it. So I cancelled the service. Then 8 months later they're telling me I owe 799 dollars and they're sending it to collections. Don't do business with these guys.

I originally posted a 1-star review: see below. Since then I have received two apologetic calls from supervisors that carefully listened to my complaints and promised to make improvements in service. Following those calls, I received an email (on August 17) stating that there is a new Regional Vice President. I increased my rating to 3-stars for now, while hoping for 5-star service in the future!

-I called 4 times for a security officer who never came and even lied to the office that he did. I had to call LAPD to take care of the problem. Neither a phone message nor email to the supervisor was returned.
-I have also contacted the office about billing errors on two separate occasions. Both times, no one in Accounting answered after multiple calls, I left voicemail messages, and the calls were not returned.
-The antithesis of service! Something needs to be done...
