Emily Greene was my recruiter and it took about 2 1/2 weeks from my first in person interview with her for me to be hired for a job. She thoroughly prepared me for the interview by giving me all the information I needed to have a successful interview. The only company I interviewed with through ABC hired me on the spot. I had trouble finding a job for awhile, that's when I got contacted with Shae Tyler from ABC Staffing. She was very thorough, professional and hard worker who helps people to the best of her ability. I didn't get the job that I initially applied due to unexpected event at the company I applied for. But Shae didn't just give up on me finding new one. She called me back shortly and introduced me this job opportunity, right then I could tell that she has been trying hard to find one for me. I started the job as a contractor and I got hired few months after. I have been enjoying my job very much, it turned out it's one of the best thing that happened to me. I love this company!! I was looking for a job in my degree but was very tired of the search because i was still in college and had no prior experience and I use public transportation so finding a job around that was also a bit frusturating. Then Laura Reynolds came in! I interviewed with her and she was so nice and made the process so quick and easy. She set realistic expectations with the bus and knew most people don't want to spend like 3 hours on the bus just one way. So when looking for jobs for me, she checked that they were on the bus line for me and also a realistic time to get there. She was able to be easily reached at any time that I had a question, she was just an email or text away. She found me one job but that didn't work out which is okay! But then she told me about a second job and I applied for it. I thought it was really nice because she had me call her after my interview to let her know how it went which made me feel like she genuinely cared! well shortly after, i found out I was hired! I am so thankful for this company and helping me find my current job with a great company where I currently work at! I truly 100% recommend ABC Staffing. I had an exceptionally positive experience with Emily from ABC Staffing. During our initial phone conversation, Emily was informative about the process of working with a recruiter as this process was very new to me. Emily conducted an initial interview in person and helped me to define my expectations in a potential employer. Within a week and a half, she presented me with a job opportunity that she thought was a good fit but was slightly different from what we had discussed. After thoroughly researching the job and the company, I knew she had found the perfect fit for me. It was a better opportunity than I had expected her to find. Emily invested a lot of time preparing me for the interview and telling me what to expect. I left my interview feeling as though I had been adequately prepared. When I spoke with Emily to let her know how the interview went, she assured me that she would contact the employer again to confirm that I remained very interested in the position. Within a few days, Emily contacted me with the good news that not only was I hired, BUT SHE HAD NEGOTIATED ME A HIGHER SALARY THAN WAS INITIALLY OFFERED! I'm absolutely thrilled with this position, and I envision myself remaining with this company long-term. My advice to anyone using this agency would be to simply listen and be patient. I can promise ABC Staffing will find you the right fit if you are patient and willing to accept any advice they impart. I can't thank Emily and ABC Staffing enough!

ABC had found me my first two jobs and years later they sought me out during my time of unemployment and they've come through again! Emily is particularly friendly and great to work with.
This company just ushers in as many hopeful, need-be employees as they can and shoves them into jobs, "temp jobs", with absolute knowledge that the job will not turn out to be a permanent job opportunity. After working at your "temp job", you get a phone call after work saying not to return the next day from someone who is not even your recruiter. She is extremely rude and degrading and if you have any of your belongings at your now former place of employment, you're pretty much out of luck, unless your belongings are out in an obvious area, as you are not allowed to go back and pick up anything yourself. Your former company will then send your belongings to ABC, then you must go to ABC to pick them up, even though the woman tells you once they receive them, they will send them onto you. Just another lie to add to the pile. They do not care to get you a permanent position, all they care to do is get you in the door and into a "job" as fast as they can so they can get their paycheck and get you screwed over. After my second "temp job" and speaking to the same woman, she spoke to me in an utterly degrading manner for no apparent reason and hung up on me. Talk about professionalism. I think it goes without saying that I severed my ties with ABC Staffing immediately. I strongly, strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this virus of a company. Sure, looks pretty on the outside, but leaves you with nothing but disappointment and anger at the end of the day. You would be better off busting your butt finding a job on your own, however you can, than using this joke of a company. I'm so sad and disappointed that I wasted my time with ABC Staffing.
To be honest, I was super hesitant to go through a staffing agency and I put it off for so long. I tried to find a job I would love on my own and then I finally gave up and gave in to setting things up with ABC Staffing and I wish I did it a long time ago. I worked with Laura Reynolds, who was so unbelievably helpful and so easy to talk to. I could tell she understood exactly what I wanted in a job and she could tell how badly I wanted to find something to fit my life style. And what do you know, within a week I had an interview and received an offer I never would have come across on my own and that I am so excited about. Laura was amazing to work with and I couldn t be more thankful!

The interview with her was very thorough and it was easy to see that she was trying to get as clear a picture of my talents and what environments would most contribute to my success.
The aspect where Emily most stands out, however, is when she prepped me for my interview with the company she recommended to me. It was singularly different than other staffing agencies in that she gave me a clear idea of the office environment, interview style, and history of the company I would be applying to. I have never worked with a staffing agency before, but Robyn and Katie were so informative and helpful. I had an initial call with Robyn to discuss my background further and to explain all the details of how this process works. Robyn reached out to me almost every day to update me with job opportunities to see if I was interested. There was always a line of communication there, so I always knew where we were in the process. Then within two weeks Robyn set me up with two interviews and at the end of that second week I had two job offers. My family relocated to PA from SC in the beginning of October. My husband received Laura's email from a co-worker of his, who said his wife reached out to her and found a job quickly. I emailed Laura over the weekend, and that coming Monday, she had quickly responded to me, and scheduled a "virtual" meeting with her that Tuesday. She was super friendly, gave me step by step instructions on how this whole process was going to play out. At the end of the call, she told me about a job that she was interested in sending my resume to. I received a call from her Wednesday that the company wanted to interview me on Thursday. Laura was wonderful in explaining what the company did, so I was super comfortable going into my interview. I called Laura after my interview of which I LOVED! ABC Staffing is wonderful! My recruiter, Emily helped me get a job in less than a month. Everyone there is super professional and pleasant! Emily was definitely a life saver for me!
Pretty lackluster experience with this place. They deal with employers who have bad compensation and company culture and the agency puts people desperate enough for a job into the position for a contracted amount of time. One particular place I interviewed with was so abysmal that they only kept half the office lights on to cut back on costs all while driving employees to meet a demanding daily quota that depended on circumstances mostly outside of the employee's control. I told them that I wasn't interested in that sort of job and they never called back since I imagine that they never get positions that are much better. Plus, if you do take one of the jobs the agency is getting a fat 10% of your pay for them doing the exact same thing you would be better off doing on Indeed by yourself. They'll hang the possibility that you'll be hired permanently before you but they have no intention of doing that when they can just replace you with another disposable worker if you could even stand to work for the company that long. Employment agencies are a thing of the past - don't use them. Additionally, I'd like to point out that all the other reviews are very formulaic like they were paid for or done by family or friends since none of them are detailed.

ABC Staffing was a great help in finding a job. I went in for one interview and was not considered for the position, however with in that same week two other jobs were presented to me. One of which I was able to get. My recruiter Shae prepared me for the interview. She was always only and email or call away. It was wonderful working with them.
Rocky start at first but then I got paired up with Emily and it went great! She had a lot of advice and open positions she thought were suited for me. Extremely unprofessional. Forced me to drive into Pittsburgh for an "interview". Seemed more like I was told to go there to pad the agent's (Laura's) meeting stats. Did not hear from her until I emailed her asking why she had not communicated with me at all. Was given an excuse about the time of the year isn't good for hiring. Emailed the agent one month later after not hearing from her. Did not receive a response and it has been more than 2 weeks. Would never recommend anyone to work with ABC, especially not with Laura.
Emily made the hiring process a lot easier for me. I struggled searching for jobs on Indeed, but ABC Staffing helped me narrow down jobs and guided me in the right direction. I would recommend their services to those in need of employment.
ABC staffing seems to be an unprofessional company. I was not a client but observed from the outside. They do not have an investment in the success of their clients and do not provide support once they are "hired" by a company, even though they technically still work for ABC. If problems arise, there is no apparent ABC backup and at least one of the recruiters is rude, demeaning, and insulting to clients. She functions this way without getting facts and doesn't seem to care about facts. In fairness, one recruiter was always kind and seemed caring though the company setup is not conducive to that. There other recruiter functions with a bully mentality and when called on it hides behind others or hangs up the phone. Do yourself a favor and find a job on your own, one in which you and the company have an investment in each other without the middle man. Temp jobs seem to be the rule at ABC, despite statements to the contrary.
Let's be clear about ABC staffing. Yes, they will find you a job but it won't be your "career" or your "dream job". 3 jobs through ABC staffing does not a career make. They provide relatively cheap labor to companies because there is no investment on the company's part. Staffing companies seem to be prevalent in Pittsburgh but ABC is not at the top of the heap. Despite reviews requested to the contrary, the unprofessionalism on the part of one recruiter is a fact, proven, documented. The best jobs are those in which both the employer and the employee are invested in each other. This is not the case with jobs through ABC, except perhaps in a rare case-not through ABC's involvement however. If you get a job through ABC to have income, keep looking for a real job.
