I fly here almost every 2 weeks and never a flight that is not late! It's incomprehensible !! I have traveled a lot from Amsterdam and Barcelona to Nice and never such delays as here (which sometimes even result in canceled flights after 3 hours of waiting interminable)

Also the sympathy of the staff is really to deplore. Hostesses who speak aggressively to a customer who is unhappy to have waited more than an hour without any information from them regarding the delayed flight.

Had to wait an hour for passport control even though we were arriving from a Schengen country. All the while holding a baby because they don't return strollers at the gate but only with the rest of the baggage.

Airport (Terminal 1) for passenger traffic too small. Confusing and unfriendly security personnel. No place to sit. Overpriced food. Worst airport I've ever visited. And that on the sophisticated Cote d'Azur ...

Horrible, offending staff on customs.
I asked for VAT return and tried to explain the situation, they took the papers and tore them and started offending me in their french english. Uneducated and uncultured.

Very nice and cozy airport. Closed at night. Trams take you to the city center and to the beach.

Airport seems small for it's throughput. Transport into Nice is bus only and can be a bit difficult if you don't speak French. However a new tram line due to be opened in a year will solve all that.
Departures again seems small and lacking - It has all you need but..... Well, it's boring if you have a longish wait.
I see no reason to not use here though.

The only cafe in Terminal 1 was closed and the only way to buy something to eat or drink was a vending machine that only took coins.
The free wifi didn't work for us.

Awesome renovations!! In my opinion it is Now the Best airport in France. Fluid security and efficient staff. Prepare your terminal and allow lots of time if coming by train. Bon voyage

Our flight was delayed over an hour because they couldn t remove the air bridge from our plane

Not at all satisfied, because before the first 15 minutes were free and today we pay for the same first 15 minutes !!
It's unacceptable when we know how much the airport takes from us

Rude customs staff who clearly lie when you have a early flight in saying they are 24hrs. Tax refund can t be done before 8am!

Well organized airport, easy-to-find shuttle bus to city centre, minus only for 1 ticket office avaliable...

Security staff is too bad. They did race discrimination. They must treat everyone fare.

Few resources (cafes / restaurants, shopping). 6 sockets for a waiting room of 200 people. Bad signage if you are on foot (internal between terminals, external for example for a station). Do not spend too long

Super accessible by public transport. Manageable but everything you need (sanitary facilities, food, shops, information, cleanliness ...). One point deduction, because the number of seats, at least in the international terminal, was quite small. Difficult if you travel in a small group and want to sit together.

The minute drop is a real disaster ...
The slightest problem of payment causes a queue of car charging everyone EXORBITANT fee ... Really very badly damn.
Too bad it adds to the list of things that tarnish the image that this place wants to give.

3 years since border controls have been reestablished and Nice airport is still unable to set up a route that does not pass through outside the secure zone! ==> Obligation to go through security for intra-European connections and delayed planes. No.
Insufficient displays, invisible correspondence panels.

Be careful people (tourists) when comming to Nice airport. They scam you really badly with the busses. They let you buy a ticket on the buss and never tell you to validate them even though the bus drivers know that you have to validate them. They refuse to speak English to you or explain. One stop later the G.S.C.T. Line D'azur will come in and fine you 60 or 40 euros that you have to pay via creditcard, they don't allow you to pay with a Amex creditcard.

Please be careful and don't let them scam you too. It's terrible how they treat you as a tourist here.

Very nice airport very helpful my French is ok but they spoke English as well so helped a lot use this airport a lot and find the services really good

Most ill-Mannered staff i have come across & i am a frequent traveller, the airport staff see travellers as an inconvenience

Very nice. The guy who pushed the wheelchair for my husband even helped us load all 8 pieces of luggage and our dog's crate into our shuttle.

Attention to the passenger drop-off, we queue up to get the result, it gets stuck and we pay more than 8. nice scam

Difficult to get to from the train station as it's a long walk and directions could be better. The WiFi isn't good as well. In addition, there is little bus service at night.

Comfortable and rich of services. A very good Airport!

Comment in two steps!

1st -> Bad experience on arrival with the predisposed at the counter of the shuttles for the hotels just at the exit of the terminal! He is always so kind (irony) or it is just a few moments, in this case it is possible to treat! No politeness, he does not want to answer questions, perfect!

2nd -> From the Nice airport. The agents at PIF and PAF were very friendly with a note to wish me a good flight! Duty free is quite important!
The agents at the British Airways counter are very competent!
Not many people that night at NCE!
The signage is good to go to the lounge "The Canopy".

Easy airport, very comfy, huge bonus if you have EU passport-fast passport control.
With international citizenship a bit of a queue.
Amazing service, clean and friendly. Just always hold to your luggage as it could disappear (like could happen anywhere)

The only one issue I had with a ATM machine, which took my bank card away.(but that s something I ll contact bank about)

When boarding luggage, officer couldn't see the extra baggage had been bought . Blamed us for being uncooperative although said it was a system error in the first place. Crowded and bad service.

Pay attention to your contract. Preferred Client ("Preferred" which lets you guess the fate of those who are not) I ended up with an invoice of more than 1000 euros for a 24 hour rental ... for a Fiat 500. No response satisfactory to my many requests for explanations, except that the contract stipulated a daily mileage and that I should have been attentive. I have been renting cars from Avis for more than 5 years, I have never had this type of problem. Needless to say, I have since changed my rental company.

The transfer gate was closed and I had to go out and do the security check of my luggage again. Including an inspection of the alcohol that I bought at the first airport! Very disappointing.

Improving.usual annoying shopping enforcement before reaching departure hall.

Waiting at the airport: joe & juice sandwich, with gluten-free bread on demand (very good) ....

Very convenient airport serving a maximum of destinations. Right at the security gate, friendliness is optional ...

The managers (flight management / scheduling / communication with other airports / information communicated to customers / management of the landing and take-off platform) are clearly and without any doubt incompetent especially for the management of crises and situations delicate. Time wastage for travelers with the accumulation of delays due to poor communication and loss of money and customer for airlines that the customer will charge first). Good luck for your flights.

Loving: All the new changes at this airport. Am very happy that the French love Jamie Oliver too and have included not one but two of Jamie's restaurants at Terminal 2. Not loving: The new trend of forcing passengers through Duty Free as you come through security..

Frankly disappointing this website for a self-respecting airport, there is only the info of the next 3 flights. They do not even mark which terminal. Don't you think it sucks?

Worst airport I ve ever been to. Only 4 seats over in my waiting area to board the plane. Everything else here is pitiful too.

Superb airport, takeoffs and landings over the Mediterranean Sea are simply magical. The airport is large, very well connected and everything is perfectly signposted. In addition, the staff is very friendly and available.

Terminal 2 provides a wonderful view of the castle hill and the airport apron.

A bit confusing to arrive with the train and the tram without experience of travel, no indication in the train no help human help support no trein explication on the ticket every thing was good finally, becouse i got the plane, but i feel we was Just lucky

1. Small airport, there is only one mouth for entry, whether it is the passport control of the Schengen area, I thought I was wrong. 2. The airport has Chinese signs, and can also support wechat pay. The staff is very friendly. Bonjour will smile with a smile. The uncle who stamped also pointed to the Chinese on the passport and asked if this is Chinese. 3. From city center to the airport you can take the tram which is really cheap.

Modern and well organized but the flight announcements are delayed ... permanently, are really painful ...

On April 21, 2018, I left with an easy jet flight at 10 40 from gate 25 to London.
In the last check for the final boarding, we came across a female controller who, after showing her the regular identity cards, started screaming in French in a very rude way preventing us from embarking because a person in our group the health card was missing. To date, the law is clear: in the countries of the European community (Britain is still considered as such) an identity card or passport is sufficient. And in any case education is the basis of every request, despite not having a badge, we boarded late after numerous explanations from us on what they already had to know!

Appalling. Queues everywhere. Out the doors at check in. People sitting on the floors. Totally Incompetent . Worst airport experience by a mile

Travelled with a party of 7 adults and 2 grown up kids. Spotless airport...only complaint was that it was too warm. Nice selection of shops and good. Expensive as are all airports.

Worst airport I've been to. Had to walk on uneven sidewalk from car rental return to get shuttle to terminal 1. No toilet seats in men's restroom. When it decided to randomly flush, water would splash on your bottom. Disgusting. Only 2 officers at the passport control for zone B boarding. Queue is like 2km long.

Free shuttle between terminal 1 and 2.
Terminal 2 not very well indicated inside, however since its renovation, there is only one single filter. More seats to sit outside would be nice.

The structure is nice but there's just a little improvement or upgrading since a decade or 2 ago.

Hassel free until the Easyjet boarding starts. Then it's each one for themselves!

The airport is not bad if not for the business lounges. In no case do not go to the business lounge! It costs 30 Euros, but there is no food at all! Offer doshirak and bread! I have never seen such a thing! It's a shame! Go to duty-free local cafes and eat there.

Boarding lounge and security crossing redone. Accompanying travelers can no longer go to safety, which avoids traffic jams (ticket scanning system). Many seats in the terminal, but few electrical outlets ... Opening duty free shops at 6am, so before you have to fend for yourself. Nice view of the sea and the Alps from the departure lounge.

Incredibly inefficient airport. The staff for check in arrived more than 20 minutes after check in should have opened and were slow to get through the queue. Not that much choice of restaurants.

When boarding our gate wasn t announced still 20 minutes before departure and no information was given. I m surprised how this airport was of such bad standard when you think of how many tourists are going to Southern France every year.

Very expensive parking. Poorly designed access. Few shops and restaurants once past security. In T2, you have to make a big detour to pass security, then wait for customs. The Air France counter is often congested.

As crowded and overcrowded as all international airports, nevertheless one finds oneself reasonably well cope. Huge parking for a fee. Friendly staff.

First time I come by plane to the French Riviera. Very nice on the other hand 1 mask in 2 are under the nose and in the hand. Long live respect for others. Non-existent order service.

Worst airport. If you arrive at Terminal 1 and pick up your rental car in Terminal 2, you should have enjoyed a survival training. For a conclusive signage was largely omitted. Absolutely grotesque!

The airport is well located, tram nearby (in the airport outright), great! Train, bus, taxi, Uber, access to major access points. Very easy to access and close to the beautiful promenade in Nice.

please avoid! The facility is really poor, as well as long que like never end. The existed security gates are far from enough.To make it worse, the checking people move and act like they have been working for 100 years without rest! In fact it is only 11:00 in the morning. Or maybe only because they are too fat to work at the normal speed.

Worst experience among all 25 airports I have ever been. (berlin SXF was the worst, but it is 5 star airport compared to this shity NCE)

Passport control is hell. 2 queues that finally mix, totally messy, 1 biometric control out of order ... 1h wonderful queue

Given the choice I wouldn't even give it one star. Terminal 2. Stuck air side. 3pm in the afternoon. No food. Just coffee. Signs offering sandwiches but they've sold out. Literally the worst European airport I've flown from.

Airport not very big but sufficient. Nice brand shop.

Small. Clean because they are constantly being cleaned. After the Terrorist incident in Nice, the military with guns walk around the airport - they provide security. I read the comments, where it was said that there is no parking - a lie, just did not notice! There are several parking lots and in different places (not small). In some places you can find sparrows or even pigeons (due to the fact that sometimes windows open) - the children are happy! So, with full confidence, I can put 5 stars!
