Perfect, a little small but cosy butthe Costa Coffee was great for me my wife and my 7 children
Terminal 1 too old and not very attractive. Needs renovation. Terminal 2 is much prettier and well laid out.
An airport that is most classic, the renovations are almost complete and the passage through the terminals is rather pleasant.
One downside, the parking lots are still quite expensive ... take inspiration from some airports which offer very attractive prices for long periods (parking voucher in Marseille ...)
Small airport are usually good. This one isn't. Allow extra time if you want to buy something in the main duty free shop. Long queues, no apparent effort to deal with the problem. Then if you want to find Gate B40, allow another 15 mins as the signage is appalling - almost non-existent. We were, along with many others, left scratching our heads.
I find this unacceptable drop-off that went from 5 minutes when it was 10 minutes before. If there are a lot of people I drop a minute is impossible to spend in 4 minutes. You also removed Jles 15 minutes of free parking which was free. All this for you to make profits while in the other major airports the time of drop-off is much longer like the one at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle 10 minutes. It looks like theft
Airport which does not look like much at first glance but which turns out to be extremely rich if you take the trouble to dig a little
Good airport, well organized, modern, pleasant, easy to find and clean. There is a good choice of destinations. However, the location of certain departure queues should be reviewed, when crowded they obstruct the passage.
Just get some toilet seat covers for Christmas?!? BIZAR you offer a WC without...
In front of the security check scan, the stuff asked you to take off your jacket and she rolled her eyes after your jacket off with only a sport bra. People waiting in queue tried to skip the queue when I was taking out liquid from my suitcase. And the stuff asked me to step aside. The security check stuff was RUDE and the experience is terrible!
I wonder if there is a feedback system or something that can really let people know how terrible it is. There are quite a lot of negative reviews on google maps but it doesn t seem to change anything.
The airport is very well connected with the city. The tram line allows you to get from the 1st and 2nd terminals to Nice. The airport is very large, meeting global standards. Cheap buffets and cafes, a large number of seats, the ability to charge the phone, security clearance lasting 10 minutes and toilets without queues. Positive experience.
Incredibly ineffective: check in -> security check -> shops and food -> passport check with huge queue! Why? I would definitely pay for the overpriced food because I am very hungry, but if you see a 100m queue for the passport check... nevermind...
Please note that there are two terminals. Do not try to walk it, because it's far
Unbelievably unkind, especially a woman in custom office
Smooth arrival, didnt depart so never saw too much of the terminals
Terrible execution of check in. Being understaffed in high season seems unprofessional. Would not recommend.
This airport gave me very different opinions so I will try to break it down.
Arrival in T1: The building was quite dull, not many stores and almost no information about the rental cars. The rental experience was horrible, I ve never seen a such slow queue before in my entire life. It took 15 mins/person to get all the papers done for the rental car. It was only one girl in the desk so it took forever. After we got the papers done we was told that the car was in T2 and that took another 45 minutes. The information about the terminal transfer was basically inexistent and the buses between the terminals didn t go very often. The car rental central was located in a whole different building than terminal 2 which added up another 15 minutes. The service in terminal 2 was very pleasant and fast though but at the end of the day we spent 1h30m to get our car. A 1 star experience.
Departure T1: The check-in lady was very helpful and checked in our other bag for free. It was very non-crowded and we got through the security with no problems. The waiting area around the gates was very nice. It was very quiet and a lot of chairs. There was plenty of stores and everyone felt calm. Also there s free WiFi which worked pretty well actually! The whole building felt very clean and thought through. A five star experience!
So this review is very diverse but at the end of the day I ll give it a fair 3 star rating
Smoking room can scare you
In airport was hard to breathe. The cafes and shops start classing at 19:00.
Overcrowded and underspaced. While trying to depart there were three international flights boardin simultaneously at adjacent gates which were no more than 3 feet apart each. Absolutely ridiculous to even design an airport that way. Moreover, the announcement for my departure gate was very delayed and although the flight was itself was delayed an hour, no announcement of that fact was ever made.
Moreover, the security clearance space was chaotic and clearly too small to accommodate the large volume of summer season passengers.
And finally, the sitting space was nonexistent and it was as hot as hell inside.
An hour long queue to check in, an hour long queue to board. I'm so glad we're arrived (what seemed to have been) too early! Half of the airport with barely functioning air conditioning, very limited duty free choice of shops, airport announcements only in French, which doesn't matter even if you speak it as the sound quality is non-existent, invisible customer service. Never again.
I'm still waiting to go through to the "zone B" and having read other reviews, I feel it's not over yet.
I got off my flight, I had vomited several times, the airport police takes me to a room asking me to undress, to do a urinalysis. When I ask for a glass of water, show me the sink, I can drink from there, this they told me, how disgusting
Not bad. Well organized There are a few places to eat. Clean labavos Public transport by bus and tram. There is a free bus to go from one terminal to the other. The railway station is about 400 m.
Imagine! No restaurant serving food all day! Just sanwitches they are not in reality of international business. Ouf flight was at time when only one restaurant opens. So no choice and plus no food
Convenient airport, consists of two terminals. Between them there is a bus and a tram. From the airport it is convenient to take a bus to the city center. Convenient navigation inside the terminal.
Good airport. Clean and organized. Friendly atmosphere.
Maybe the worst airport I have visited in a long time. In T2 after 9:00pm almost every food option closes and there is few choices. Feels old and in need of a renovation and change in attitude
The view from the sky at the time of landing is breathtaking, totally surreal as if you are about to land on water. One of the most beautifully located airport. Staff is quite helpful and polite.
No toilet paper. Information office gave me very little information
Top BGTA and PAF support
We don't realize it, but professional staff ensure our security 24 hours a day
Limited food and drink opportunities, unappealing food on offer
Even after closure of terminal 1 everything is organized well - no problems, nearly no waiting time, everybody was very friendly and professional
Shabby airport.
Very few signs.
A tram that must wait 20 minutes to go from one terminal to another.
No electrical outlets for phone.
Soporific atmosphere.
Very nice little airport. Dozens of flights a day.
A unique runway lying practically at sea ... on the very edge of the coast.
Warning! Important information for travelers.
From August 2019, there is a T2 tram line in Nice that departs from the airport terminal itself.
The line goes to the very center of Nice, so it's a great convenience.
Tickets for 74 minutes cost 1.5 EUR.
Friendly, simple and relatively modern. Arriving by car is easy, everything is perfectly indicated. Inside it's nice, just the doors from A01 to A13 it's a bit dated and stuffy. The passage of the security is done simply, a little more rigid than in Paris in my opinion.
Character can be kind !!!! The waitress clearly threw the croissants into our mouths when we kindly asked her to warm us the croissants in the microwave, moreover we asked her for towels she looked at us while blowing, I advise this type of person Asian (not to be confused with the second person who she is very friendly) to change job, trade is clearly not for her!
Do you know the mystery shoppers? You should be more interested
A report maybe established on the company and it is the image of the company that suffers
Pay attention to the staff you employ .. so many serious people are looking for a job
Breadeco bakery
Terribly rude staff, especially the guy at the express bus ticket office!
Cafe s stuff, on a contrast, are pretty welcoming!
Why are the sandwiches and beer cheaper on the planes than in this overpriced airport? A totally rip off
Probably the world's worst airport that I've been too. How can you can you close all eating places at 20.00 During eater break. Staff no idea about customer service. Saving grace passengers all had a srnse of humour.
"Nice Airport, Nice Airport 2mn off" Good I did not see Dave, Odile Deray, the Pope and his sister
The outdoor landscapes are beautiful! When taking off from Lesquin it feels good to land next to the beach.
Nothing wrong inside, it's clean and well indicated.
Very hard to connect to their airport wifi. We don't understand anything about their website WiFi free connection connection
Very beautiful departure hall, very ugly arrival hall. Too bad for an airport full of potential. Shops here and there, but limited compared to some smaller airport of less good standing. The building itself is very beautiful from the outside. Competent and friendly staff and staff.
Airport clean and pleasant, well signal.
The duty free is varied and fun to occupy the time.
The controllers are friendly .. no bad return for me.
The international airport of Nice is the third largest in France for passenger traffic and is 8 kilometers from the city center; it has a very large car park, but it is problematic to find access to the parking lot; inside prices generally expensive; it is very crowded, not very welcoming and the seats are insufficient; staff at the baggage check a little stressed and above all rude.
Shockingly, there is no hydroalcoholic gel anywhere in the three entrances and not talking about the place of registration, let alone the surroundings with the pandemic and it is a very busy place for the measures taken by the state I am outraged !!!!!
Small airport, easy to access and pleasant. Very well positioned in relation to the highways.
Easyjet 0/5 welcome in Nice T2, no smile, no kindness, no customer attitude, just an angry face and for 10 mins go away and come back later your flight not open. No hello no good bye no manners no nothing. Well here s how i spent those 10 mins, maybe you should be looking for another job cause you clearly hate the actual one and prejudice easyjet image.
Big and well done but against the free parking that 5 minutes it is totally impossible not to pay so much this airport is great even if you go at the pace.
Terminals 1 and 2 are very far apart and therefore very confusing. But very modern
Nothing impressive (duty-free shops might a bit!). The area(zones)of the departure hall can get congested quickly.
The airport staff, aviation partners and the security were unhelpful and unresponsive, we missed our flight because of their mismanagement.
Initially my flight was from Edinburgh to Geneva but we were diverted to Nice at 23:00. Because of the storm. Excellent support by the airport because we had to stay sleeping in this one to not name them easyjet jet n did nothing to accommodate us and where to find a solution. The security service and airport service provided us with water camp beds and food for each passenger as well as blankets. Police and security guards ensure our safety all night and answer our questions. Thank you especially to the security chief and all the staff present that night. And thank you for the attention they paid to families with children
Amateur airport. Things are unclear. Uncluttered. The staff are not friendly. There are too few chairs in the waiting areas. This time, terminal 1 was closed because of the corona. But it is not indicated anywhere. The doors are locked, but it should have been reported that all flights from Terminal 2 are going.
So nice to be able to reach the airport by tram and not have to slam 20 of bus or ter
Walk from the rental drop off to the terminal about 20 minutes in the rain
The computers for checking flights are not working; when I told this to the employees, they told me to use the phone next to computer to get in contact with their staff on english language, but of course, person on the phone didn't know a word on english
Few Shops. No assistance and explanation when there is a flight delay
Coffee with milk 4,2 euro..and 1 euro for milk. What a joke
Total mayhem, no clear information on the closure of Terminal 1.
Nice and easily accessible airport.
Welcoming and friendly staff.
Very nice, spacious airport. Many plants, cozy. It is convenient to contact the tram, which runs from the first and second terminals
Not the best airport but worth it for the landing with the view of The Mediterranean. Cheap airport to fly into with Easy Jet and well worth it.
At Nice airport they have closed a terminal and now there is only one terminal. We were three planes leaving at the same time. London, Barcelona and Athens. People sitting on the floor. Total chaos and no distance. Dangerous and immature. An airport and organizational disaster. To save money
Good airport, free buses run from terminal 2 to terminal 1. From which a large number of buses depart. But we needed to Cannes, crossed the big road and took the 200 bus (if you are standing with your back to the airport, then Cannes is on the left)
After checking in for a flight at 9 p.m. in Terminal 2, we wanted to eat before taking off. We were only looking for a cheeseburger with fries but instead we had the choice between a sandwich, a sandwich or a sandwich .... After a very difficult choice we decided to test the bakery erik kayser, I had the choice between a mixed sandwich or a mixed sandwich ... The bread was soft in the end ...
Superb airport, not too big and very classy.
In short happy to arrive here and know that we are a few meters from the sea, a few meters from the promenade of the English, a few meters from Italy, a few meters from cannes ..... super simpa
Accessible by tram
Simple and fast check-ins
My arrival was at night in the city of Nice, I thought it was a small airport but very clean and with good structure.
Tip: If you will land here and enjoy a nice panorama, you should sit on the right side.
The airport is clean and works pretty well. Somehow everything seems a bit chaotic and the airport is always good for a surprise.
For entertainment, the airport (Terminal 1) has little to offer and the wait can be really boring if you can not sit in a lounge.
For a destination such as Nice, with that much traffic, this is an airport in dire need of massive modernising and refurbishing. Overall it has the feel of an airport of the 70's - that hasn't been thoroughly redone SINCE the 70's
