A'famosa Resort Review

The perfect place for family vacation. Beautiful surrounding and at night we can see firework.

4pm check in but we managed to check in at 2pm. Check in was quick and the receptionist gave us two queen size bed room. Room is big but the floor is sticky. Bath tube can't be used. Facilities improvement is needed. We had a wonderful time in Old West. We enjoyed the Red Indian show and the carnival parade plus the firework. Good to bring the kid along.

I stayed at the villa with 30+ ppl and it was comfortable

Got doubled billed at the Western Restaurant and after 3 weeks, their account department is still "processing" my refund. Despite admitting their mistake, they keep pushing me from person to person. Each with a different story. Then they tell me to wait for another 2 weeks! That's 5 weeks! When I said that is an unacceptable excuse, they refer me to the bank and ask me to liaise with them. What kind of management is this? The mistake is on their part. Very disappointing indeed. Surely not the best choice for coming holiday. Isn't there a proper manager to look into these things? Mind you, I am a Malaysian. And this has happened. Think twice. Don't spoil your holiday memories.

Been there twice. Condition of the suites is slightly deteriorating since the first time. Not exactly the best hotel in Malacca but you can manage if you're looking for a cheap place to stay. The other activities in the resort are great. Go-Karting (OffRoad) , Horse Riding, Zoo, Amusement Park etc, those are still enjoyable.

I thought it was duty-free. Turns out to be normal outlets. No sure if anyone would want to out all the four everage shopping

You can enjoy water rides with your family n friends peacefully.

Not a cozy place to stay but a moterate one. You can spend a day or 2 by enjoying the water theme park, safari & the Old West.

Premium outlet at Melaka many brands on you choice with good pricing

The price is more cheaper when buying online for all packages ... Water Theme Park is just okay because the old theme park, Safari Park there are not many animals, only many tigers and Old West Cowboy is rather ordinary but there are shows for entertainment.

So much to explore yet so little time...you'll never get bored even if it's your 10th time in Malacca

Had a pleasant stay there. But there's not so much attractions. I went to safari and water theme park, then we went to the melaka city sentre which is very nice place to visit.

But staying here is good especially if you rent the villa that are hidden from busy city. A well and beautiful villa with your own private pool.

The safari is good and decent. But not so many animals.

We even brought our own Kangen Water machine installed in the villa as it is very light and easy to install everywhere to ensure that you got the best ionized water during your stay in there.

The place was nothing like the time I went as a child, it has went much downhill since, if you ever chose their resort to live, DON'T eat the curry at buffet

Definitely worth a visit. Theme parks wild safari shopping outlet all availabke here.. Those interested in golf, this has one of the best golf grounds i have ever seen. Painball and many other activities availble here

Apartments are rundown badly maintained. Stayed in one with broken air conditioner and hotwater shower.

I don't know how many stars that I need to give based on my experience having a holiday here. First, they don't kept their maintenance properly. We got a unit with a lot of problems. There's a freaking hole on the ceiling above the air conditioner. And then there's another hole on the way to my room. And then they provide an old tv in each room but it's not even functioning. I can say all the side table lamp isn't working at all and a few of them has no bulb. And then there's no extra pillow or blanket provided so to those who brings family you need to bring your own pillow and blanket. And there's no towel provided too. The pool is in front of the house beside the parking space and it is so so open so to those who wears hijab and feeling uncomfortable when people walk by your house and sees you its better if you go to the pool by night because people can't see you and also the neighbour can barely see you. The problems with the pool is that the water that fills the pool isn't working sometimes like it died on a sudden without any reasons. And when that happened, the water in the pool started decreased. And when we tried to use the water pipe they locked it and I don't know how but like are you freaking kidding me? And ya this place looks creepy by the way. I wish I have the photos of this place.

For night performance (8.30 to 10pm) during end of year at the cowboy, there was a great fire show by cowboy animal show and a number of activities in between the shows, such as animal feedings and petting, free dance with the crowd, ride the pony etc. It was amazing to see such colorful lights during the parade, and the dancers were also wearing blinking light dress. The combination of chicken, goat, horse during thr animal parade also is funny, and it was great seeing the bird flew so fasy across the stage too. At the end of the show there was a firework display. It was fun, and after the stage show ended, you can continue enjoy and play outside games.

The Afamosa hotel is very comfortable, the equipment is crowded, and the swimming pool is very clean for the tourists to enjoy. The Afamosa resort has swimming areas, wildlife, cowboys, and the place is so beautiful that visitors can enjoy the location. I used to bring my family to come many times. Every time I came to play, I was very happy. In particular, I told my friends and relatives from other places to come and travel. I came home with a happy mood.

Came for a company event. Rooms are big and food is quite good. However not very consistent. We found the lunch and dinner was really good but breakfast was just average. Housekeeping tends to slack off as they did not clean our room although we put up the sign. In addition, I also came with my family of 3, and paid for extra Bed, but unfortunately they didn't want to give me an extra towel unless I pay for it. Water looks a bit yellowish and smells rusty. Depending on the time you shower, hot water may not be very available. Reception service is relatively slow, only one lift to serve the whole block and rooms. I don't think it's a very high traffic place but there were enough attractions to keep kids entertained. The upkeep of the place is not very good. For company event, we book a hall and assumed it came with WiFi. We were not informed that we needed to pay additional charges for it. I think Its a 2.5 star for me for this place.

No pool. But it's not like that. Parking is limited to sketches. The breakfast area is very far away.

The resort is big. They have shuttle bus for their inner resort and to a famosa freeport shopping center. The place is big, have many attraction. The food is good too, but for indonesian, the food in indonesia like rendang etc more spicy in taste than here. Thiis ia old build hotel. Sometimes the Air Conditioner have trouble, but when you go down and tell to the receptionist, they will call the engineer as soon as possible. But if you tell by phone, they will directly suggesting for another things that what i wont. But because of that, i know that behind the elevator / lift you can find ironing places. The safari have attraction, you can give meat to the tiger by paid 50MYR / person. You can use grab but they accept only cash if you want back to KLIA or KLIA2. You can't use wifi in around the resort and places. Only free on hotel and restaurant.

Not suitable for family with kids. Its too hot.. No air-condition..

One of my favorite places to go. In a quiet atmosphere. Plus, it has a classic atmosphere. Full of customs. The palace has four levels.

The conditions of the room-hotel are not satisfied...bed light not function, tv channel not good, so don't stay in room and have fun at there... Space of room very satisfied, fit around 8 queens bed
