This gym is great! Big clean locker rooms and just packed with boxing and mma options. I love that they open so early and the staff are really nice. The price is a little high compared to the other gyms in my area, but I've been looking into gyms with similar mma equipment and those are all 2x the price. Nycf c also runs promotions frequently so try to sign up during one of those. There's usually street parking available.
The only con is that there aren't often women downstairs in the free weights and bag areas, so I feel a little awkward sometimes, but you can't have everything. :)

one of the best gyms in ny to help maintain your quality of life.it has all the necessary tools to do that -great equipment {over and above},steam room,showers,great instructors if needed,multiple classes you can attend,regulation size boxing ring with all related equipment,food bar with seating ,nice staff,and above all is kept clean.

I go to this fitness club for almost a year now and I love it! There are verity of sport clubs especially nyc fitness club has best fighting coaches and #1 kickboxing club in whole New York City!

Horrible customer service and owner just wants to suck all the money out of you! It s a pity prices are high because actual place is nice and used to be much more affordable with old owner 2 years ago.
Every day they have new rules and additional new charges!

The cleaning lady got some attitude problems. Not the first time or the second time.

The guy named Abbos, has been awesome to me. Their trainers are exceptional, the overall vibe is great and I have had nothing but good experiences. I definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Hands down, best choice I ve made training at NYC fitness club. VERY friendly team who make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave.

The gym on Google maps says it's open but I get here and the gym is closed. False Advertising . Got there at 830am and still for 45min and gym never opened

Good gym just not good if you like to listen to your own headphones because they always blast their own music. Don t try to use headphones here you will go deaf.

This place is good because of the many services they have, tanning, healthy food, workouts, many more, but a little on the pricey side.

Decent gym, but don't fall for the low pricing, expect hidden fees. And there are no water fountains!

Clean gym. No towels but has nearly all equipment you would need. Free weights, squat rack, machines, kettlebells. They say more equipment will be added soon.

One of the worst experiences of customer service you'l ever have. The so called 'manager,' who was obviously deprived of male attention for years, will refuse you admission inside the club if you forget your card. And the last push was one of the owners who started an argument with me because of $20.. despite the fact that I used to spend over $500 a month on food in that gym. So do yourself a favor - go to Matchpoint instead. Save yourself the hassle. Or planet fitness if the finances are singing romances.

They have children classes..it is very clean. Has a bar area for snacks, free lockers and no contract .

Amazing gym, great staff and equipment. Haven't been to the gym in some time, but it was an easy transition getting back on a track with NYC Fitness Club stuff. Everyone seems really cool and easygoing.

The smoothie bar is nice and you can get a great one made before or after your workout. Love this gym and recommend it to my friends!!!

Boxing was very good but kick boxing was very difficult for beginners

It's a bit pricey gym, but considering the service and the amount of machines They have I would not like to go to any other gym In this area except this gym, staff are friendly and all areas are clean.

This gym is not worth paying for. Its very expensive and you have to deal with the rude lady in the front whose supposedly the manager!!! Worst experience ever.

Super clean great price just bring your own water bottle because they don't have water fountains.

no gym in nyc costs $70 a month, with $80 dollar activation fee. pure rip off!!! staff barely speaks english, unprofessional and rude. prices change as per owner's or manager's wishes, and they do not adhere to contract.

This is truely a great gym. All the machines are exactly what I need for my targeted weight loss. The employees are very helpful and pleasant.
Its an overall great experience. They have all the amenities you need.
Sauna, Juice Bar work out equipment even personal trainers. What else can anyone need. This was the best decision I made to join this gym.

I like this gym a lot, clean, opens early, closes late, great equipment and steam room. Plus classes for kids are very convenient. Friendly staff and tasty/healthy juice bar.

Just joined and loving it so far! Lots of mma options, but if that's not your thing, they have machines for your average Joe. It's super clean, too, which is important for me.

Beautiful facility and always very clean. I always get a great workout out of this gym. I have gotten big and made a lot of new friends at this gym.

After joining this gym, I found out why it is important to pay attention on our fitness. It's cool, it's classy & above all it's well equipped with all the necessary machines for a good workout.
I've made two workout buddies on the very first day & I think their company will encourage me to give proper & regular time to my workout. Different types classes going on in here are the best part of the nyc fc, though I've not joined any of them yet.

A great place for a workout they just redid the place and added alot more machines. It used to be a place for mainly boxers and MMA fighters but they took out 2 of the rings and now they have a lot more free weights and machines as well. It's a bit pricey more then I'm used to but I guess that's what you get in NY

working parents can't make the kids classes so i had to get personal training for my son to get boxing lessons. While it wasn't the most economical, i must say money well spent. Alex the trainer was fantastic with him and my son can't wait to return. His progression was great to watch in the 9 weeks he went. Wish it was more affordable and not 2x a week, but we will return next summer for sure! Gym is clean and staff is friendly - smells like any other gym - i have no complaints :)

The new staff or aka younger staff in the front desk have no manners. Teach them how to greet before you put them in the front desk. I greet them at night as I was leaving but she totally ignored me while chewing on her gum. Disrespectful young employees. To be specific, it was 10/18/2016 around 10:30pm. The morning employees are a lot better than the night employees. The men's bathroom the shampoo, conditioner & body wash are all filthy disgusting. Smells weird and the liquid looks so bad mixed with different stuff you don't even want to apply that on your body. Lucky I bring my own to use. Lastly, the cleaning lady is also really rude. She expects you the get your a** up while you're lifting weight or else she'll vacuum me also. Until these problems are solved I will take this review out of here.

Best sport club in Brooklyn. When I was there I never saw so many new models of fitness machines anywhere else. Also it's not expensive and owners keep very clean and neat. I can defiantly say it's a professional place and it one of those places that anyone will fill comfortable
