The Intercontinental is a great Hotel sitting on the water in the middle of the Harbor District. They have great food and the rooms are luxurious and quiet. It's just steps away from great restaurants and lots of Boston fun

Gorgeous hotel located right on the water. Our hotel room was super spacious, updated with extremely comfortable king bed and comfortable pillows. 55 inch TV is fantastic!!
Our Blanket was too heavy so I asked for a flat sheet under it. They also gave me a thin blanket as well. Much, much better. Parked two blocks away at International Place across the street in a public parking lot, only $14. per night. I still value my dollar and find $45. per night way too much. The coffee here was delicious, I have not tried anything else. In room refrigerator was fully stocked which is always appreciated. Be careful if you lift anything from it because you will get charged if it is lifted up and removed. Our bathroom is gorgeous with a quite toilet. Hotel is located two blocks from train station where you can get coffee or breakfast at 10 different fast food places in there that includes McDonald's, Cosi, Dunkin Donuts, Chinese food, or pretty decent Mexican food which we brought back to our room last night.

Great location and so so comfortable. Beautiful restaurant and bar area and lovely outside tables where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Front desk, concierge, bell man couldn't have been more accomodating. Felt very safe travelling with my sons. May want to scope out nearby parking though. $44.00/ day with valet

This hotel is well worth the AAA 4 Diamond Rating. We had the most enjoyable experience imaginable. The Spa treatment will place you in a very Happy place and you will love it. Adam our concierge, did a wonderful job, and he was intent on keeping us happy and worry-free. Thanks Adam!!! My wife and I left happy (to see our kids) and sad knowing that we were leaving the Best Hotel in Boston.

Stayed here with my 2 brothers and father. Were down to see a concert at the Garden. Close to South Station. Nice to stay on the water while in boston. Night life was great around the hotel. Will definitely stay again. Room was nice and beds were very comfy. The water taxi directly behind the hotel was very convient and cheap!

Location excellent.

When you get here by car, park it near by (for example 'Rowes Wharf' garage). It's cheaper than hotel garage

This site was a beautiful hotel. The staff from the valet to the check in were friendly and helpful with impeccable service! Would definitely consider side using Intercontinental again.

I felt a little let down while staying here. It's a beautiful hotel and is technically 5 stars, but, the anniversary cake and champagne never arrived in our room for our special occasion. I thought that maybe it would be delivered on the next day of staying there and sure enough it never showed up. I paid a lot of money for a two night stay and a true 5 star hotel wouldn't have somehow forgot about this even though it was in their system upon checking in. I spoke at length about setting up these special extras a week before checking in as well as paying a lot of money to upgrade to a suite. I can't in good faith recommend this hotel for special occasions.

Great location. We walked or took T from South Station all over city and Cambridge. Luxury but not stuffy. Modern rooms, comfy bed, large bath with spa tub and separate shower. One of nicest hotel fitness centers I've seen, including pool, albeit a little cold. Staff were friendly and not snooty. Tried French restaurant Miel...both dinner and breakfast were worth the convenience, especially the eggs hollandaise with lobster!

A beautiful place, well located, close to essential services (such as pharmacy, convenience store, public transportation, restaurants, snack bars, clothing store etc.) and with a wonderful view. Served by friendly staff, bar, spa, wireless Internet access and other treats.

Beautiful hotel and nice room just wish we had premier city view like we anticipated and paid for and not just view of buildings! Also the hotel should note the pool and restaurant were closed and no room service available. Disappointed this type of hotel didn t even have a refrigerator available for access in the room.

I known I'm in a fancy room because of the meeting I'm here for, but it came with a fruit bowl, a bathtub I could crawl into from bed (through a really weird closable window between the bathroom and bed), and a button for "do not disturb" and "make up room," along with other cool features. Overall, if you are here for business near the Intercontinental, I HIGHLY recommend that you stay here!

Love this hotel...stayed here when it first opened back in 2006 and always hoped we would be back and were thrilled we did. Still looks and feels like it just opened: beautifully appointed rooms, great location, staff go way out of their way to give you 5 star service! Have stayed in most of the big Boston hotels and this is absolutely top tier...I just hope it's not another 12 years before we're back.

Stayed here on our honeymoon last year and this hotel massively exceeded our expectations. Fantastic location, lovely staff and a world class fitness center. Could not recommended any more highly and if we were to go back to Boston, we would happily stay here again. Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Boston.

An amazing hotel with a grand lobby and amazing service. All staff working here are friendly and nice and go above and beyond to make our stay the best experience. I will definitely come again when I come back to Boston. The building itself is attractive already, not mentioning the beautiful view you will see when you have a waterfront view.

Do not recommend. We stayed in a suite here for new years.. room is nice, bathroom is nice and large, nice bath. Horrible customer service. I woke up in the middle of the night qnd called downstairs because there is no mini bar access in our room due to covide. They said I had to come get water, the lasy handed me 4 tiny water bottles, when I asked where I could get more water she said sorry we only provide 4 per room, you can call Uber eats if you need more. Mind you, paid almost 400$ for our room and they told me I couldn't get more water? Even to purchase? Very disappointed with the all around service, there was also only a tiny bit of toilet paper in the room. I expect more when going to stay at qn intercontinental, I stay at this chain all around the world and this was by far my worst experience. Will never come here again, happy new years..

The location was lovely and it was a great walking distance from downtown. The hotel was decorated beautifully and all of the staff that I interacted with were friendly and quite helpful.

I've got a choice, Boston Harbour, 4-Seasons, or the Interconti. I keep coming back here. Maybe not as posh, maybe more a conference hotel, maybe a different clientelle... it just works. Room 1005 is the nicest non-suite room I stay in with windows on both sides. But shhh! don't tell anyone. Practical, friendly, well situated - Hotel not the room.
