A favorite spot for delicious american food. service is always awesome even when they have a full house. i'll return with my coworkers. the bill won't shock you.

Nice atmosphere. Happy Hour is awesome! The wine selection is vast, and the fries with aioli sauce are a must!

Fun date place. Good quilty tasty small plates with good choices of drinks. Having good attentive helped this place to achieve one or two stars above others.

Place is on the small side but very nice. Staff is wonderful. Drinks are good. They do a lot of specialty drinks with cool names. Went to see a band playing and they were great. Would come back in the future.

I've been here before and wasn't a huge fan, but they changed the menu so my wife and I decided to give it another try. The chairs are really fun and funky. We sat at orange swivel chairs straight out of the seventies. The wine and alcohol menu is extensive and the food all sounds good.

We made the mistake of ordering the pickle flight thinking we were getting different kinds of cucumber pickles, but if you keep reading it is pickled stuff (cauliflower, green beans, onions, mushrooms). You have been warned. We ordered Gazpacho and Seared Tuna. I got a flight of wine, which is a cool concept, of sparkling wines. My wife got lemonade. The tuna was really good. Soft, rare, perfectly tender and seared. The sauce was also tasty. The Gazpacho had issues. The shrimp wasn't cooked all the way through at the tip, it tasted bland, and I found a fruit/veggie sticker in mine. The wait staff was apologetic and offered to get us a new one, but at this point we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. They took the Gazpacho off of our check but offered no additional compensation or drinks or anything. Which is totally their prerogative and not required, but if I was serving fancy cold soup in a high-end restaurant I'd be really embarrassed by serving someone a sticker.

This meal cost us about $48 with tip. We went and got real dinner at Frazier's for $37. This really should be 2.5 stars, but the staff was friendly, the place looks really cool, and I got to sit in an orange swivel chair. This place needs another new menu.

Food selection was hit and miss. The atmosphere was great. I enjoyed a superb wine flight.

Great service. Fast service. I went for the first time to celebrate my friends birthday and we had a ball. The music was amazing!!!! Current and old mellow mix of slow jams it was everything. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and the beer. ( i dont drink wine, and the bartender didnt force me to ) i had a great experience.

In particular besides it having a kool vibe, it has Jerry, who is an outstanding bartender!
His knowledge of mixology is superior!

I should have figured not to actually order "food" from here, so that was my own fault. $9 for a total of <25 leaves. That's okay, just get their cheese :) The wine selection is nice for a nice price, and it's just just to sit and talk! The waitress knew her wine pretty well, and made a nice selection for our table. Will probably be coming here again, but just for wine.

I love love love this place! Such a good place to share a billion appetizers (or go alone and have a really good assortment of foods all for yourself!) and indulge in some good wine. Will definitely be back soon.

Amazing wines by the glass, with the option to take a bottle home at retail price. You've got to check out the boilermaker selection. Especially the Baltimore pairing. The bar manager, Jerry is the business. You have to go here if you're in Hamden

The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. Superb restaurant to take my family out for dinner.

This was my first time going. My bestie and I decided to try some place new and it was truly excellent. The waitress was very friendly and the food was super great. The wine was delicious. This is a must go.

Food was overall very good. Several of the dishes were over seasoned, ie very salty. Decent wine and beer list. Not sure we will be back, but we had a good time. Ambiance is very nice.

Chill little spot on the main strip in Hampden. Cocktails were on point. Food was great. Really enjoyed the open, on the street seating.

Utterly amazing place. Great place, great food, great wine selection. Huge portions of mussels and the Greek fries were super tasty (ask for a bit of bread for your tomato tapenade). Our server Jazz was a peach. Not only did she suggest great wine pairings but she also gave us some other places to visit in Baltimore. Wonderful experience. Would absolutely visit again.

Went for a bottle of wine around midnight expecting to be able to hang around because closing time was listed as 2am. The music wasn t offensive but was very loud. Just after 1am, the lights went on, wait staff began cleaning the floor and flipping chairs onto the tables. We felt very rushed and the waitress was passive aggressive which we didn t appreciate.

The decor and atmosphere were mellow and comfortable. The wine (Lambrusco) was smooth and tasty, but needed a larger glass.
I ordered a burger and fries. Well done. But found eating out of carryout containers cumbersome and awkward. A little pricey.

Have always loved this place, come here with my friends to unwind and catch up. They recently changed a few things about their wine flights so now you get to try a larger variety of things. I also didn't know about their live music until last night. They had Sac Au Lait (local jazz band) and they were wonderful! Looking forward to coming back!

The wine was really good - I purchased the raising and it was sweet but not sickly. Exactly what I was looking for. If I'm being honest, the halibut was average but the five stars here is for the service. My group was rather harsh and while there was confusion I can't help but think that it was at times caused by us. They did the professional thing and admitted fault/ gave us a bottle of wine. For that, 5 stars and I'll be back again.

We stopped by for a glass of wine last Sunday and was unexpectedly surprised to listen to a very good life music.

This is a good place to go for wine, cocktails, and light bites. Most of the dishes are really good. The mussels weren't great. The sauce wasn't spicy enough and the mussels tasted a bit old. The service can be touch and go. The first time it was really good. The latest time (May 2019) the service wasn't great. We had to hunt down the server to get food and drink ordered.

Awesome wine bar with unpretentious staff who are super friendly and happy to make recommendations. They've got good specials every day and live music sometimes too. Lots of delicious food and plenty of shareable dishes. Plus they own up the accordion doors during good weather.

This place is great for hanging out and trying a bunch of different wines (it's nice that the 3oz tastes are exactly half the price of the 6oz pours). Only complaint is that we could no longer chat at all after the live music started because it was so loud.

Before we moved from Baltimore, our favorite, love the sliders and the cheese selections!

Seemed like a cool place although we just went there for a minute for a drink. Nice vibe, lots of choices on the cocktail list. Will give it another visit and check out the dinner menu. Lots of people there always a good sign.

Great wine, knowledgable staff, good food. It's nice my card never leaves the table. The down side to that is I haven't gotten use to tipping in front of person receiving the tip. I'm typically generous, but those times I'm not....

I have been coming here for over 10 years 3 cars. Service had gone down when ownership changed about 4 years ago but 1 year ago I met Blake and she has been awesome she is my favorite Service rep. She takes care of me and consistently ensures I am satisfied and taken care of her attitude and customer service skills are impeccable I prefer to deal with only her when I come in. Yesterday after an oil change I had a problem immediately after leaving I called Blake and immediately wheels started turning Danny the service Technician took care of the situation expeditiously with a friendly caring attitude. I will be asking that Danny be my Service Tech from this point on. These two individuals are examples of awesome service providers and should be aknowledged by management as they have restored my faith since all the others left. Danny and Blake great job thank you . Fun menu forfood, cocktails, & wine + great ambiance, cool bar, and good service

I hadn't been here in YEARS and decided to stop by last weekend. This is still a great spot for food and drinks that don't fall in your restaurant/lounge chain category! Our bartender was superb, but unfortunately Monday was going to be his last day. I would've gone back just for him! He was on point and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is comfy and mature. The only downer was that they played old, slow country music most of the time we were there which made us a bit sleepy.

Waitress was unattended and showed a lack of knowledge in reference to wine and items on menu.

Tasty nibbles and good wine @135winebar The best company always goes well with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, French Brie + Grilled Baguette (which I took home and lost somewhere on the ave.) I had such big breakfast plans for that bread #ohwell Though we polished off the Charred Octopus in 5 minutes flat! Never mind the GIGANTE Beans, Shaved Fennel, Mizuna, Lemon and Green Goddess Vin.
