Great cocktails and very knowledgeable staff! Little pricey.

These cocktails are excellent. We had the "Last Night in Oxecal" and the "Old Fashion." Ryan is a master at making artistic cocktails that are packed with well balanced flavor and body.

Excellent service, great drinks and a peaceful place for a good conversation.

Certainly the best cocktails in Federal Hill, probably some of the best in Baltimore. Both the frog legs and fried oysters are delicious, albeit pricey, but to finally have a classy bar on Cross St. makes it worth every penny.

One of our new favorite places. Amazing food and drinks. Outstanding service. Aeon was awesome. Can t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

One of the best and most entertaining shows I've ever seen..and I've been to atleast 27 different states so get different styles...but I will say they had it all. Smaller stage space so at first was wondering..but these ladies proved size dosent matter...WOW I was so entertained and amazed the entire time...the talent was amazing from the host to the show stopping halftime performance..I would honestly say one of the best shows I've ever seen and I used 2 work at a gay bar n frequent many. The serving staff, bar and performers make it a must see if ever n baltimore

Best Bar selection in Federal Hill

This is the only place I can go with hubby where I can find an amazing mixed drink and he can find Cognac. It seems that all bars in the area have the same selection. You can literally ask for anything here and they'll either have it or a very close 2nd.

This is a cool place if you really like whiskey. Other than that, it's just okay. Expensive menu items for food that wasn't that exceptional.

Came here for for drinks on a Wednesday night while on vacation, and highly recommend if you are a craft cocktail enthusiast. Beverage Director Ryan Sparks' cocktails are exceptional: beautiful, creative, and delicious. Bar staff is friendly and knowledgable. Ask about Chartreuse!

Number one drag brunch every Sunday the entertainment is definitely excellent the food is fantastic the drinks are definitely good also.

Ben the Bartender is AMAZING!!!! We love you Ben you made the "cousins" the BEST drinks ever. You have the most amazing personality and we cant wait to visit you again. FYI- the mussels were super delicious, thanks for the recommendation.

Fun speakeasy style bar just off the main drag in busy fed hill. Semi hidden opening and not being a basic club or watering hole keeps the crowds down. Craft cocktails and interesting food but not the best dinner place you could pick in Baltimore.

Great selection of whiskey, but had the worst drink ever made...other people that I was with had the same issue. How do you mess up a vodka tonic?

Visited on a weekday, semi busy. Great cocktails, alright food. Definitely recomend ordering items you can graze on, or just apps. Service was spotty at best..

What an amazing place. The whiskey selection is top of the charts. And on Wednesdays they are half price. Our bartender was fabulous even though she was sick. Just tried some snacks but they were delicious.

Bookmakers was amazing. I asked the bartender if he could please make me a whiskey cocktail. He asked a few questions on what I was looking for, and shortly after I was given a delicious drink that allowed the flavors of the whiskey to shine through and be complemented by the ingredients in the drink. My wife and I loved the cocktails and the food was also delicious. We only had a few small plate options but it was delicious. My favorite bar in federal hill. It s dark and quiet inside. The staff is friendly and know a lot about drinks. I love their fancy cocktail list. There s always something new. I take all my friends here when they visit.

Went for restaurant week. Food was amazing. Great drink selection.

It was nice we had a meet up here and we had a great time. We were loving the mirrors in the bathroom lol if you are a girl a you didn't spend a long time in there congratulations you aren't vain.

Somehow I'd never been here before, but that will change. We're definitely going back because the place was terrific. Cozy and quiet, romantic even - there were clearly several dates going on around us. Really nice drink and dinner menu. Solid service. And live jazz, which wasn't overwhelming. Usually with live music, you can't have a conversation but these guys were perfect. Will be returning soon.

I really like this place... good and drink options are great. Atmosphere is usually a seller as well but I was disappointed on my last trip. It seemed the workers took advantage of the light crowd and decided to play their own music, refusing to change it to what they typically play. As 5 of the 10-12 people there, it seemed of they were okay with losing or business for this, not understanding that atmosphere is a big reason we came so far to the place.

Great local cocktail bar! The staff really makes this place. I didn't have any food but the menu looked decent. The drinks were out of this world. The restroom situation is single for both women and men. If you're looking for a place to escape the "frat row" feel of the area, this is the place!

Perfect spot to go to in fed hill if you enjoy being able to hear the person you are with and enjoy a great time

The men's restroom was closed the entire visit and the bartenders could care less

Visited Bookmakers for the first time this week and it exceeded our expectations. Our server and the Bar Manager, Dan and Ryan, were amazing. The food and drinks were great. The food was great. The atmosphere is very modern and swanky, yet chill and comfy. We went on Tuesday night, so the crowd was light, but the music and atmosphere was still very inviting.

The cocktail menu and selection of spirits cant be beat. Too bad we had to work the next day. Could hve hung out all night. We will definitely be back.

Nice, quaint local bar. Great band. Wonderful establishment to host the pre-wedding gathering upstairs, separate from the public.

Good environment. Service was so so but the food was good. I went during the resturant week everything was good but the dessert.

Amazing list of hand crafted cocktails that is constantly being updated. Great food as well(though a bit on the fancy side, quite upscaled compared to standard bar fare). Extremely friendly bartenders that will create concoctions according to your tastes. And they have costume karaoke on Sunday night, which is always a good time.

They have an expansive selection of whiskeys, and they make excellent cocktails. However, the bartenders are not friendly. We have gone a few times, and one bartender in particular stands out as consistently rude.

Number one Drag Brunch in Baltimore if you have never gone you definitely will not be disappointed with Brooklyn Heights as host and a staff of 6 people. Call ahead most the time it s a sold out show.

Amazing menu with a mix of classic and house cocktails. Food is great. The bartenders are all very knowledgeable about their craft. One of the few places to have Chartreuse (green, yellow, episcopal, and VEP).

Amazing cocktail list. Huge range of top shelf spirits to choose from. Food is good as well. Also want to point out that because some of the cocktails take a while to make and the bartenders might be making more than one at a time, when the place is busy it can take awhile to get a drink.

Stick with the bar, maybe. The whiskey selection is impressive. The food is nothing to enjoy (had a crab cake, but others in the group were not too happy with their choices either).

This place is great. I really nice change of pace from the horrible bars that make up the majority of the Fed Hill neighborhood. They make a great old fashioned and often have live music. Not much more you can ask for from a bar.

Fantastic whiskey bar in a pretty neat area of Baltimore. The selection is great and the options for small plates are very good. The crab deviled eggs were tremendous!

Made reservations a month out for a group of 15 for a birthday. We were seated up stairs and could not see the menus. I had to use the flash light on my phone to read the menu. Ordered drinks. Two people did not get their drinks till after the appetizers and food came out. The server was very defensive when we asked for our drinks. Blaming it on the bar. (Two people ordered Miller light in a can....). Two other people did not get their meals till everyone else got theirs and ate it. The waitress blamed it on the kitchen this time and said they didn t have enough bread made (I got zucchini pesto that has no bread in it) so I kindly just wanted to make sure she didn t get my order wrong and told her what I got and she got defensive. Everything was a I m sorry but.... out of the waitress mouth. There was no sorry in her attitude. I went to speak to the manager about the ordeal. She was very nice and took the meals and drinks off. Would not recommend this place.

Drink list is quite extensive. I didnt know what to order. Finally picked something, dont remember what it was called but it tasted like grapefruit. Duct work is exposed over head and was dropping all over the tables. I only came to see the band that was playing that night and they were amazing. Dont think I'll go back to this place.

Did I hear that you were looking for a great cocktail? That's what I thought. They have great cocktails, beautiful list of liquors and service with a smile. The only downside was that there was something wrong with my legs when I left and my equilibrium was temporarily tampered with

Excellent food and staff. David helped my party on Sunday night and the food/service was incredible. Not only was he attentive but he was jovial and funny.

Well crafted original cocktails and the bartenders are great. If you aren't sure about anything on the menu (which the bartenders themselves create), they will make you something specific based on your tastes

Great place to go in Federal Hill for a cocktail. The prices on cocktails range from 10-17 on average but are good. I would not recommend going for a full dinner experience unless your options are limited.

We had a great server who helped my wife find a few great cocktails (Normally she just drinks wine)! Staff was very pleasant!

Typically, I can't say enough about this place! You want a great cocktail or unique menu to enchant your pallet? Make a stop at bookmakers! 1/2 price whiskey Wednesday allows you to try the more expensive Bourbons like Angels Envy at the price for Bulleit. I only gave 4 stars because this particular visit was a bust. The bartenders here tend to be wonderful friendly knowledgeable and accommodating. But we brought in a birthday boy with a party of 9 of us, and this particular bartender always wearing a plaid shirt, made us feel like we were somehow in his way or something... We each had 2+ drinks and while we wanted to continue paying $12 a cocktail (because they are worth it here) we were sick of his attitude every time we tried to put in another order. So it was time to leave. Avoid him and you will be fine. This place has a great vibe intimate setting for a date or small group. Worth the stop

Good food and good drinks. The staff was a little slow in service but overall a good vibe from the restaurant.

Nice! Catered to our toddler but looks like you would want to leave the kids home after 5 or 6. Place has a bit of a high class vibe but the staff seems down to earth and the menu is fine for anyone looking for a good meal for under $20. Cocktails are pricey but if you wanna cheap cocktail, buy a bottle and diy.

Provides a solid complement to the other cocktail pubs in the area without ever quite rising to the top. It's nice to have this kind of joint in Federal Hill though.

Order from the list, or tell them what you are in the mood for. You will end up with a cocktail that will not disappoint. The bartenders know their stuff about mixing cocktails and are happy to share their knowledge. My only qualm is the price, but it is competitive with any other high-end cocktail spot.
