My girlfriend and I just got back from staying here. We're 21 so at first they didn't seem to excited about letting us stay but after some smooth talking we worked our way in. This is a family campground. It was nice for us because we both got heat stroke... it was around 38*C the all day long. So the quite nights were nice.
I'm not a huge fan of the hostility towards young people but I can understand why. Overall really nice campground and I enjoyed hearing owls and the odd coyote during the night.

Amazing campground and owners. This campsite is a couple minutes outside drumheller but is well worth the 5 min drive. Private treed in campsite with immaculate owners. Everything is well taken care and clean! The bathrooms and showers are very nice and tidy and they have washing machines too! I found this campsite by chance when me and my 3 year old were going on vacation..she is now 13 and we have never stayed anywhere else in Drumheller. If you do stay here bring your bikes and bike to Wayne..it is the most amazing scenic route, you will not be dissapointed!
The campground was beautiful and we enjoyed our two night stay. However, my credit card was charged additionally after we left due to a tree that fell on us while we were camping. The lady was extremely unprofessional and threatened to criminally charge us for vandalism. She refused to listen to our side of the story. Tent camping is tricky enough with a three and nine year old, having tree s fall on you and then getting charged for it is even worse.
We rented a cabin here for a night, while visiting Drumheller, and had a very positive experience! These are the cleanest, best maintained bathrooms I've ever seen in a campground! The cabins were so cute and clean, and we really appreciate that there is no spitting sunflower seeds and peanut shells. The owners are clearly passionate and care very much about their clients' comfort. We will definitely stop by again if we are in the area.
I encourage everyone to read the 1 star reviews about 11 Bridges Campground and the responses from the management!! After our experience camping here this weekend I can say that every 1 star review I have read is accurate and the attitude coming through on the responses from the management is a direct reflection of how they will treat you if you choose to stay there. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking to save myself the headache of dealing with the people who run it. The owners will likely bury their own business with their abrasive attitude. We were greeted with hostility from the first moment we showed up.
They will also charge your credit card for whatever and however much they deem fit after you leave without talking to you first, as I have read from many other reviews. We were charged an $80 cleanup fee for some sunflower seeds on the ground. We didn't realize at the time this was in their policies, we were just told to 'sign here and initial here' on the paperwork checking in as is the case when checking in anywhere else. I have never seen this policy at other campgrounds, so naturally didn't think twice about it. With the management bent on charging a cleanup fee for a policy not seen at most camp sites, they should be doing a better job of outlining this when checking you in. After calling to try to talk about how high the charge was and to see if they would consider reducing it a bit, I was hung up on. I even called back to say I don't want a fight and that I would like to come back in the future if we can resolve this, but the lady would not answer so I left a message saying that instead.
I'm expect there will be some response to my review from management saying that I'm wrong and they are right, after reading the other reviews. All I can say is that my experience matches the many other terrible ones I have read and I will never be back to this campsite unless management is willing to work out the size of the fee they charged me.
Update - after negotiating a refund, they responded here saying this was resolved then charged back to my credit card the amount they refunded. These people are absolute crooks and their actions are completely fraudulent.
All campground have rules. The difference with this campground is that the rules are enforced. It's nice to have a clean site, children supervised by their parents, and quiet by 11:00 PM. Plus they accommodated for me.
great family campground..safe and fun place for the kids...we love this place and the owner was nice and friendly....for sure will be back again...Thanks ...
Thank you for your response. You are right. We find your facilities nice and clean and we like the location of your camping ground. We rate our experience compared with the price and and we think that your price is a bit too high compared to places we stayed. Therefore three stars from us. Have a nice summer.
Amazing family run campground. All the huge trees is like an oasis in the valley. It's close to sightseeing and stores but just out of the crowded Drumheller center. The gates are closed to the public at 11 pm which makes me feel better that someone won't be lurking around at night stealing my coolers. Definitely check out the little cabins, they are cute as a button! Also the hook-ups for water to the sites is town water.
Thanks for a lovely stay in one of your cozy cabins and all you did to accommodate us. Your campground is very clean and tidy as are your facilities. We will be back.
My husband and myself have been coming here for the past 2 years and now we book annually. This is an absolute Beautiful Campground and the management go out of their way to make you feel at home. We have had other family join us during our stay and the owners have accommodated our family on all occasions. I highly recommend the 11 Bridges Campground as it is so nice to be able to travel somewhere and get treated like family!
Spent Father's Day Weekend here with some friends and really enjoyed our stay! Campground is very nice, well kept and facilities are clean - you can tell the owners care - there are rules in the campground, yes, but they are made pretty clear and honestly not very hard to follow. We had no issues and enjoyed a chat with one of the owners on Saturday evening while walking around the grounds. It's not a place to go with a rowdy crowd for sure, but if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing trip, this is your place. We will absolutely be back!
This is a private campground. Pretty treed setting. Clean pay showers and laundry available. Be sure to have loonies, if you want an early shower. I was tenting. The site has a grassy tent area, which is nice. It is a large grassy circle surrounded by trees. There is also a more private area under trees that the owner calls the cove. I chose the common area because the ground was more level. The cove would be very nice if it is dry. Be aware that there are signs of a stream going right over the tent site during rain. I had the tent set up before I noticed the ant holes in the ground over the entire tenting area. I arrived late and left very early while the ants were inactive. There is the option of unserviced regular sites for tenting that may not have the ant problem. I was not there long enough to check those sites. Serviced sites and cute cabins also available.
The lady running this place the day we were trying to stay was the rudest I have encountered anywhere. We booked and paid 3 days in advance. There were 3 bad accidents on our route to get there. Gridlocked traffic left us stuck in our vehicle all day. I called to advise her of this hours in advance. Then when I called again saying we might be 10 minutes after check in time she was rude, said we couldn t stay there and went on about how they can t pay people to stay late. I said we would rush to make it, she got mad and said don t come, then hung up. Thanks for making a horrible day worse for my kids and I.
I am always skeptical about bad reviews, but reading all these bad one, I wish I have listened to the others. Wrost camping experience EVER!
As other had mentioned, the lady owner is very rude.
We were supposed to stay for 3 nights. We had no problem with the first 2 nights. The owner was not pleasant to talk to, but that was fine. We don't need to talk to her much. But on the 3rd day, our kids were told to going back to our campsite, because other kids were misbehaving. She then proceed to our campsite, started yelling about kids should stay at their campsite. The fact is that not even quiet time yet. Shouldn't kids to be allowed to play?!
The problem is she gives no warning. Instead of talking to us (and the kids) peacefully, she just starts screaming and yelling. Totally disrespectful, being a total "Karen"
Camped here in our own RV. Awesome sites that have beautiful trees. The whole campsite was very clean and well kept. I like how close this campsite is to Drumheller and other places of interest. Would recommend staying here over the campsites in Drumheller.
Great playground. Super clean bathrooms. Nice scenery.
Cons:
Sites were small and close together.
Owners come across as grumpy and unprofessional. Judging by the other terrible reviews, we were not the only ones to get that vibe. It feels as though the owners have been jaded by some bad apples and now assume everyone who camps there is to out to ruin their property and take advantage of them.
Despite the great playground, we won t be back. We didn t feel welcome and would rather stay at a campground with a more positive atmosphere.
We had stayed at the 11 Bridges Campground for Waynestock 2019. To start off the staff were incredibly rude, what really left a bad taste in my mouth was how i witnessed a family being treated by the staff.
A family band from Calgary that was performing at Waynestock was staying a few sites over from us. They were forced to pack up and leave at 10pm in a rainstorm with children without any reasonable cause as they were nothing but respectful. Police were called to remove them from the campsite.
Its absolutely disgusting how this family was treated, do not recommend, would never stay again.
We accidently discovered this place when we were looking for a place to stay in the Drumheller area. We stayed at 11 Bridges for 4 nights last week, and absolutely loved our choice. Lovely and clean cabins, lots of trees, a nice playground for the kids to play and well maintained facilities, such as washrooms and showers. It is only minutes to drive to Drumheller. Nice owners are doing a great job of keeping this campground nice, clean, safe and quiet for families to enjoy. Thanks for the tasty carrot cake.
A group of us stayed at 11 Bridges for work over a period of 3 weeks. We chose the campground on the basis of the amenities and the presence of trees. We were all extremely pleased with the whole situation. The sites can be somewhat close together, but the large trees provide a lot of privacy and, more importantly, shade and protection from the wind! The showers/bathrooms were always clean and well maintained. None of us ever had to wait for a shower as the stalls are numerous and one was always available. The laundry facilities were also very welcome during our long stay. The WiFi was rock solid and the speed was higher than most hotels I stay in... and I stay in a lot of hotels for work. Just a suggestion for management but if there was a portable waste tank available I would gladly pay $5-$10 for it's use. It would be paid off in a very short time and offer a convenient service for guests who are staying more than a few days. A note about the rules. Yes, there are a few rules and yes they are enforced. In my experience, these facts made for a much more relaxed and enjoyable stay. If you are looking for someplace to party, this isn't the campground for you. If you really want to move fire pits to a location of your choice then this isn't the campground for you. BUT, if you are looking for a clean, well managed campground without the worry of loud, late night neighbours then I highly recommend 11 Bridges. We interacted with the owners often and they were always very polite and respectful throughout our stay. Should we have future need for an extended stay in the area we would not hesitate to stay here again.
Highlights were the beautiful trees throughout the campground, a park for children to play at, and clean bathrooms by the office. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was very clean and stayed a consistent temperature inside, we arrived on a cold day and left on a hot day and the cabin never felt too cold or too hot.
Based on the replies alone to the negative reviews, I will absolutely not be staying here or even thinking to recommend it. Very clear that the owners are angry people who are unreasonable and like to take it out on their patrons. Please go somewhere else and show these people that compassion and respect go a long way.
Owners are extremely rude and unprofessional. Immediately ridiculed us at check in for being ball players even though we were only in town for our 8 year old sons ball tournament. Was told they would never have let us in if they had known that. Will never return and will be sure no one we know will ever go there either. We are avid campers and I ve never been so mistreated in a campground. Despicable. *Edited to add... if by disgusting mess you mean some sunflowers seeds shells on the ground, then yes. And we came back to clean it up to avoid the obscene $150 charge because you called it biohazard . We cleaned it all up as well several cigarettes butts and pistachio shells which were by jo mean our mess.
If you have kids, this could potentially be the worst camping experience you may suffer. The female owner YELLED at my children and the children of other campers in the campground because of bike riding in the campground and making noise.
If this was an adults only campground, it should be noted as such as it is entirely unacceptable to admonish children directly unless it is a safety concern or blatant issue. I have never felt so disrespected and our family left after a discussion with her. While I was packing up with my family - I saw her corner two of our family friend s children and yell at them! Needless to say, our friends and I will NEVER return to this campsite again.
I cannot recommend this campsite to others if you intend on having a family fun experience.
Excellent facilities (indoor bathroom, $1 hot showers), very private tent sites. Owners had a lot of rules, but it made for a clean and quiet experience.
No music allowed and quiet hours strictly enforced, so definitely not a party site.
During the reservation on the phone the owner was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the place had a good vibe to it and the registration process went fine. The campsite we had was private and very clean. The location was excellent for visiting Wayne and Rosedale was only a short walk from our campsite. There was nothing wrong and we would stay here again when visiting Drumheller.
Nice Campground! They seem strict about their rules which is fine, because it keeps the campground safe and clean. Will be back if we are ever camping in the Drumheller area again!
Very clean well maintained campground. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers only $1. for 5 minutes. We had a nice large well treed site on the river. If you want a family friendly place this is the place for you.
Horrible. When we arrived there was a sign that said be back later help yourself. So we did we set up our camp. We left a little later and when we arrived we got kicked out. For what I'm not sure. So we cleaned up and packed out to find another site to stay as night was approaching. 3 adults a 3 year old and my 6 month old. My son touched a tree as we were leaving and the owner cussed us out as we were leaving. I'm not sure why it was a problem or were we victims of prejudice? We will never know.
We love coming here! We stayed here last year for the first time and were looking forward to coming back ever since! The owners are so lovely and their little dog snoopy is the cutest! The owners make us feel welcomed, ensure we are happy and checked in during our fire to say hi and again ensure we were having a good evening. The bathrooms are perfect, dish wash station is so helpful, and with the peacefulness of the location but proximity to Drumhellers town amenities - is something you can t beat! Love love love this place!
Had a family emergency and had to cancel 3 days prior. Not a single word of compassion or humanity was said when talking to reception. The response I got was "You still have to pay for a night on each site". Learn some manners.
Do yourself a favor and skip all the negative reviews or you will be missing out on a amazing clean, family friendly, private and well treed campsite. We stayed at one of the cabins, the kids had a blast! and for $80.00 a night its perfect if your wanting to take in all the sights Drumheller has to offer. This is no joke the most cleanest camp site i have stayed at there bathrooms, shower stales, Landry and dish pit is amazingly clean and so convenient to all campers. There is a huge play area for the kids our kids sure enjoyed it. Yes there are rules but honestly if your there for a nice relaxing family time you'll appreciate them all, honestly they are pretty easy to follow. Thank you 11 bridges for another wonderful family get away! we will be back again.
This is our favourite campground in the Drumheller area. It s beautiful, quiet, gorgeous shade trees, sites are able to accommodate a wide variety of units, rental trailer and cabins also available. It is exceptionally clean, the facilities and amenities so well looked after, pride of ownership is evident everywhere you look. We ve stayed 2 years in a row for 5 days each time and have nothing but great things to say about the campground and owners!
11 Bridges Campground Review. We just spent 8 amazing nights here. Highly recommend. However, if you plan to party 24/7 and not look after your children and let them run "wildly", then do not go here. I know that every night I get good rest and there are no partiers. Lori & Dave are great. If you abide by the rules, you have nothing to worry about. We have sat outside with a fire after 11pm, but we are 'respectful' of our neighbours and hubby and I speak softly. Not this particular trip, but in the past. I do have to say, that I took my niece and nephew to the park a few times, and we were the ONLY adults present. I am not there to babysit or discipline your children. Nor are the campground owners. While there one day, a young boy kept throwing rocks and gravel. Dave came up and very quietly asked the kid to stop. The kid then sat on his buttocks and was pouting. I was maybe 15-feet away, and I never even heard Dave's voice. Ergo obviously no yelling that I hear other people saying. The only time I used the washrooms was after we had dumped and before we hit the road home. I have to say, the washrooms were SO clean and well looked after. Thank you !!!!
The woman who works in the office is extremely rude and will swear at you. We got kicked out for talking and having quiet music at midnight. This woman claims it is a "quiet family campground" but has no problem causing a scene swearing and yelling. She came to our site and was yelling "get the f*** to bed". Her yelling hissy fit was 10 times louder than we were being. Talk about hypocritical. She then stood there waiting for us to go in our trailer like we were children. She will also try and charge you for EVERYTHING even though it's not mentioned over the phone that there are extra charges for these things. We then proceeded to try and find another campground for our second night in drumheller and she had called all the campsites in the area and told them not to accept us into their site. I cannot believe what happened that weekend and just reading through other peoples reviews I can see that this is just a common occurance at this campground. If you want to stay somewhere that you can actually enjoy yourself, do yourself a favor and do not book here.
Great campground. Very clean, very quiet. We stayed in a cabin, it was great. Bathrooms/showers are immaculate! Close to all of the tourist stops. No river access from here.
Stayed in one of the cabins earlier in July and had a great experience, very clean, beautiful big trees, quiet for sleeping and our kids enjoyed biking to Wayne! Thank you we are hoping to be back:)
Glad I dodged this bullet and stayed at the cute (and empty) place around the corner. I pulled in, saw the numerous signs of an over managed campground, and immediately turned around to head back out! I was surprised, but glad to see that my gut was so right about this place being bad news. Instead I paid $15 to stay right along the river and the only inhospitable host I had was a beaver who did not want to be my friend Spent the night under a beautiful cottonwood tree
Ps. I would have never even reviewed you if it wasn't for your extremely poor attitude towards your negative feedback. It did however, give me great insight as to what I'd be in for had I ever decided to stay there. Your cabins looked intriguing, but not worth the headache so it's a pass.
Very nice family campground. Nice park for the kids to play in and keep them occupied and access to the creek to play in. Very safe and comfortable place to go. You feel very welcomed and cared for with all your needs. Quiet time is perfect so everyone especially the little ones can get some sleep in. Close to all of the tourism places. The suspension bridge is just a jog across the highway. Hoodoos, and the mine are a quick drive in the valley. Also recommend taking the road through all the bridges to the last chance saloon and get a piece of their amazing apple pie. Big thumbs up to the owners putting in all the hard work for this cozy campground
We got a $30 tenting site (supposedly on river...which you need to walk through a fair amount of brush to get too) but ended up staying down the road instead (check my other reviews) because....I wouldn't actually call it a tenting site, it was a spot to park your vehicle with zero privacy....maybe they have other tenting sites that offer some privacy? The grounds appeared nicely maintained though, had a playground (big bonus with having kids!) and have other amenities (big bonus if camping more than a couple nights!) It really depends what your current needs are:)
** reply to 11 Bridges** Thank you for your reply.... We were NOT at the end...we were in the middle with people on either side of us and across. Perhaps we will look at site 50 next time.
really tidy and neat campground, private sites, ours was right on the river. clean washrooms and showers. the cabins are so cute and reasonably priced. they make sure their campsites stay tidy. the location is the best because you are in the middle of everything.
From the moment we booked we should have reconsidered. The hosts are rude and greedy. The campground itself is cute, clean and well maintained but don t let that be the reason for booking. The hosts are unbearable. Prior to our departure I had indicated that we would arrive around 8pm. As we approached Drumheller I received a rude message questioning when we would be arriving. It was 7:45 and when we checked in the owners seemed put out that we didn t return their call and further questioned us about the other party arriving indicating that they must be here before 10pm. Even when we indicated they would the hosts seemed agitated and unfriendly. The motto for the weekend quickly became kill them with kindness We quickly realized that rules were important to them so as other guests arrived we pre-checked them, confirmed car parking and paid the required extra fees no questions asked. Incident 1: we were playing in the park one of the hosts came flying across the park and started yelling at a person driving in the campground. She obviously noticed that we were uncomfortable with her behavior because she came over to speak with us afterwards to share her perspective. While we appreciate her concern about safety in her campground her approach was abusive and unprofessional. Incident 2:incident occurred when a young boy approached us for our bottles. We gladly donated them to him. Later the boy cornered by the two owners who were threatening him with police and other insults. We felt like we needed to stay in the area to protect the boy and told the owners that we donated the bottles to him. Again the owner felt the need to explain her behavior to us as she visited our campsite that evening indicating he was a thief and liar and how she confiscated his wagon and would sell it on Kijiji. When the owner visited our site the previous night she indicated we were 5 star guests. Despite all of these incidences of poor behavior by they owners, we liked the location, amenities and cleanliness of the campground and contemplated booking for future years. Shame on us for overlooking poor behavior. The Final incident that solidified our lack of trust in the character and integrity of the owners. Upon checkout the male host checked the site as we dumped and did not indicate there were any issues. About an hour down the road I received a voice message indicating that we were being charged a $150 fine for moving the firepit and my mastercard was already charged. The message indicated that if we wanted to come back and remove all the ashes, take them to the dump and bring in new gravel to cover the spot they reverse the charges. This was a complete shock to us as the owner had been visiting at our site and never indicated an issue. I explained in my phone conversation that we did not move the location of the pit but did was swap the moveable fire ring from one site to the other as only one ring was suitable to have a fire. We did not change the location of the pit. The owner indicated that we moved the fire pit into the middle of the campsite when the trailer would back in and now there were two spots with ashes. I explained that wasn t possible or our young would ve been tracking through the ashes all weekend. I then requested pictures and felt like the ones provided were staged. When I sent photo images of our time around the fire clearly showing where it was located and requested further pictures showing the inside of the firepit , the request was ignored. From our perspective it seemed evident they were trying to tack on extra charges. If you read further reviews you will find similar stories. If they have your credit card they will charge it without warning or a true opportunity to dispute the charges!
We stayed at this Campground and had a fantastic experience. Our cabin was clean and our site had privacy. The owners went above and beyond to provide any request. We have a son with T1D and needed to have his insulin refrigerated. They allowed us access to keep freezer packs in the ice chest. The facilities were spotless and we enjoyed our time there. We will be back.
Stayed 2 weeknights in the trailer for rent on-site, and had a great time! Beautiful campground, very nice facilities, and easy access to lots of places in the valley. We hope to be back!
Definitely a nice smaller campground. Lots of huge trees with nice shade. Great clean washrooms with nice showers. ($1 for 5 minutes.) Owners were very friendly and accommodating. We felt very safe there and felt that there was no need to fear that our belongings would go missing. They have surveillance for at night with a gate that is also closed for the night. This campground is in a great location, only minutes from Drumheller, the Hoodoos, suspension bridge, Atlas Coal Mine and more. I HIGHLY recommend this campground.
The cabins were simple plywood buildings. I would advise camping in an rv there since the mosquito's there are horrid but other than those two self made mistakes the place was alright. Why the 3 stars? I don't like paying to shower.
I just have to say the owners were very pleasent and helpful Also all the facilities we're clean and I will go back there anytime and I recommend people to go and camp there
The campsite was so clean, huge trees, and convenient. The washrooms were very clean as well. The owners were very friendly and very kind and engaging to our children. I highly recommend this spot and we would definitely stay here again.
Very clean and welcoming right from the get go. Cabins are small but very cute beds are comfortable. Definitely recommend this place my first time here but certainly not my last we will be back again.
I called to reserve a campsite for two nights. I was told they had one site left, so I said I would take it. I gave her my full name and credit card number to pay for the two nights in advance. She asked how many people and I told her two adults and two children. She also asked for my phone number and email address which I gave her. I told her it could be 8:00 before we got there and she never told me there was a strict rule 10:00 rule. As it sometimes goes with kids, it took much longer than expected when picking up our Grandkids for our weekend camping trip. It was almost 10:30 when we finally pulled up to the closed gate at the campground entrance. There was a small sign stating no check-ins after 10:00 pm, but as every other campground operates, the gate is closed to keep out those without a reservation and for security reasons. I have been told numerous times, when reserving a site at other campgrounds, that if you arrive late, simply open the gate and come in. Make sure the gate is closed behind you, then proceed to the camp office where you will find a notice in your name giving you directions to your site. That was what I expected in this case too, so that was how I proceeded. When I stopped in front of the office I turned my headlights off so I wouldn't disturb any campers. Shinning my flashlight at the office door and window I didn't see any notice for me so I was a little confused. Just then a woman came around the corner and asked what I was doing there. Not knowing who she was I simply answered that I was checking in. She raised her voice asking me if I hadn't seen the sign on the gate saying no check-ins after 10:00 pm and that I would have to leave right now! I couldn't believe my ears, so I calmly told her I have a reservation thinking she would understand. That seemed to make her more angry and again in a loud voice she stated that my credit card had been denied and that this was private property and we had to turn around and leave right now! There was a family of campers sitting around their campfire fairly close to us and I know they could hear every word she said. I was completely embarrassed because I have never had a credit card denied before. I told her, "That can't be. The card is good." Again she said in her loud angry voice that I needed to turn around right there and get off the property. I couldn't believe that anyone could be so rude, let alone someone in the hospitality business. It seemed that she didn't care if she might traumatize the children she knew we had with us. When I got back in the car to leave I could hear my 11 year old grand daughter was crying in the back seat. The whole scene was very distressing to all of us. The next morning I called my credit card company and there was nothing wrong with my card and there was never any charge put through from that campground. The whole thing is very puzzling why she would not have called me if she had trouble with the credit card. I have voice mail on my phone, so even if we were out of a service area we could have eventually gotten a message. She never even sent an email. Instead of acting like decent human being and doing the best thing for her business by trying everyway possible to reach me, she simply let us drive all the way there thinking everything was fine just so she could kick us out with nowhere to go. That sure smells like malicious intent to me. I would strongly recommend that anyone thinking of staying there, DON'T! I should have read the many negative reviews from other people she has been mean and rude to. There are plenty of other really great campgrounds for the same price in the Drumheller area. Our favorite is the River Grove Campground, when they are not already full.
The campground has new owners as of Oct 2014. We have made a few changes by adding 10 cozy cabins. They are equipped with a queen size bed or two twins. They include 2 pillows with pillow cases, bottom sheet, towels , shampoo, conditioner and soap. There is a lantern and 2 nice deck chairs to sit and relax. We have indoor bathrooms and coin showers and laundry. The campground is on town water and is very good water. There is a playground for the kids and we also have a dump station on site
Nice place, lots of trees, good playground. Sites are a little tight together but not too bad. The managers were a little short tempered with some of the kids in the campground for very minor things such as ripping a leaf off a tree. We had a decent enough stay but when we got home we received an email with an $80 charge for sunflower seeds on our site. I looked back at the paper they gave me upon arrival (admittedly I didn't pay attention to it) and it does state that a fee can be charged for left garbage and sunflower seeds, so shame on me. I've just always thought spits and camping go hand and hand, and of the dozens of other campsites we've visited over the years, none have had this rule. $80 though!?!? At that charge, I get the feeling they don't want me back so I'll never spend another dollar at this campground. A more reasonable fee would have made me keep the spits at home next visit, but $80 is unreasonable for some spits on the gravel.
Great place to stay. Good grounds and the owners take great care in the place. They are very strict and I understand the negative comments from some people. It's for good reason they are so strict. Unfortunately some RVers don't respect and understand that they're not camping alone. Would definitely stay there again.
Had a great weekend at 11 Bridges Campground. Real nice folks Dave and Lori, helpful and wow talk about a clean campground. IMPRESSIVE!!!! Lots to do in the area, cocktails at Wayne Ab. (Last Chance Saloon) were fun, will be going back 2 or 3 more times this summer..Thanks guys for the great time see ya soon!!!
Okay ends up my review is a bit late (august 2018) but I didn't realize I never review till I was looking up the place for a friend planning to travel to drumheller. My bf and stayed one night and it was amazing the cabin was super cute and cozy. I always being this place up when people I know are heading that way since the price is great and we really enjoyed it.
Can t believe the place is still open. Went a couple years ago and it was the biggest joke. Owners had the kids off the playground at 7. Kept harassing us through the evening and in the morning. I d go anywhere else. Waste of a long weekend.
Loved this campground! Cleanest bathroom and shower facilities I ve ever seen at a campsite, got showers only $1 for 5 minutes, and super dry firewood, for $10 it was enough wood for a fire at night and another at breakfast. Power and water supply right in the campsite. Owners were super friendly and welcoming, we would stay here again for sure.
Thought about staying here but clearly the management has control issues. Looking at the pictures the place looks a bit ramshackle anyway. Doesn't sound like kids are welcome, sunflower seeds certainly aren't permitted and Lord knows what else they would be upset about once they have access to your credit card.
I give a 5 for the campground and the gentleman that checked me in but 0 for the lady that came barging into my site accusing me and my grandson for making to much noise ????? We wernt doing anything just sitting by the fire..the people next to us had come in just before she came. it could of been them she heard but they didnt seem loud to me.so I don't know what she heard but it wasn't at our end. they also left there car running so she went over there banging on the door and swearing wich i didn't find appropriate and very disturbing my grandson went over to tell her they went up to the showers and she was asking him who's 9 to turn off their car..to me it seemed she had been drinking from the way she sounded and was acting
Very impressed with the facility, and the owners were great. No nonsense but caring. Great washrooms the campsite was excellent. A very fun relaxing weekend. We will be back,
