A**holes and Charge you 3x the amount the city charges. They work a lot with Barrada Properties and always make sure they have permission to even take the cars with the barrada office because sometimes they have no authority since barrada properties sometimes puts the contract on hold a lot.
This company is running a scam. They towed my sister's car of out her lot even though she is allowed to park there and has a parking pass. They charge 300 percent of a normal towing rate. They call a flat bed special equipment so the minimum charge if they tow your car illegally is $350. All cities in Milwaukee county need to not allow them to operate within city limits and the district attorney needs to bring charges as they are ripping off people. The people they are targeting in Milwaukee in many cases have the least ability to pay. This means their actions may be taking food and rent payments away from families.
I called at 8:15 for a tow and was told that a driver would be there in one hour. After 2 hours of waiting we called back and we told they were on their way. Then they called and said they got into an accident on the way. Thankfully I called a different company and had them show up. Awful service, condescending and rude dispatcher and they never showed up when they said they would

I went in this garbage pit with my friend who s car had been taken by this company . We were greeted at the door by a homeless man, and I sorry but he smelled awful and I guess he s allowed to sit in that tiny lobby smelling the whole place up. The dude behind the glass was incredibly rude, slow, and acting like we were inconveniencing HIM by trying to pick up the car they took. I went to help my buddy pay their insane $350 fee. But according to them I am not allowed to use my money as I see fit at this place cause we were denied. So we had to leave go to the bank and get all the cash out, go back, the homeless man was still in there. If this place takes your vehicle I m sorry, get a lawyer if you can afford one cause I m sure they re breaking some law.
Told me $85 over the phone 30 mins took 1 hr then tried to charge $165 when they finally arrived and they were just down the street from where my car was!

They tack on a "special equipment fee" to every tow bill. When I asked what constituted special equipment I couldn't get a straight answer. Originally the clerk said it was due to them using a flatbed but the other person in the lobby was charged the same fee and was not towed with a flatbed. The clerk then said they were fees implemented by Milwaukee county which was a bold faced lie as I've never encountered that at the city lot on Lincoln ave. Ultimately they refused to take payment then I was asked to leave for asking reasonable questions and told to come back the next day (and also incure more fees on storage).
Needed a tow when my car wouldn't start. Due to bad weather Progressive Roadside Assistance told me I'd have a 3-8 hour wait. We called Always and were given a 30 minute wait time. They arrived on time and charged exactly what they had quoted up front. Hassle-free and friendly service.

These people and company are absolutely disgusting human beings! They appear to make their money by targeting oppressed social/minority groups in Milwaukee. They don't post proper signage on the private property from where they essentially "steal" these cars from (like ninjas) and make you pay outrageous fees to get your car back. Ours was taken from my daughter's low income apartment parking lot while we ate dinner and dyed Easter eggs for three hours. There were no visible signs posted from the spot we were parked in or the building where it was taken. They make up their own rules as they go too ... staff stated when we called and their hand written sign on their door reads that they open at 8 AM, but they actually don't open until 9 AM on a Saturday, so don't waste your time going earlier than 9 AM Saturdays. I also don't believe they are open Sundays, so you are out of luck if it is towed Saturday evening. They are sweet as pie as long as you pay what they want and don't ask questions. Once you challenge them or advocate for others or those less fortunate, they change the rules quickly. I was kicked out of their office for peacefully advocating for my partner. Staff and their sign state that they take debit cards for payment, as long as the card has owner of vehicle's name on it, but they wouldn't allow her to pay with her card after she challenged them. We had to run to an ATM nearby (this might not work for everyone). They won't provide any documentation to us either when requested. Lastly, I met a homeless man outside who lives out of his truck, he has no money to get his home out of their lot and they denied access to his belongings in his truck. This is an absolutely disgusting practice and needs to be stopped! FYI, as I write this, one of the tow truck drivers drove out in a tow truck, parked in front of me on the street, got out of his vehicle and went to talk to another staff person at their secured gates (he stared at me in my vehicle as he passed me). He continued to stare at me and smirked smugly as he passed me the second time. getting into his vehicle and driving away ... be careful and know your rights!!!!

I have learn this tow service is corrupt. The wait to see you park then tow your car the state needs to shut them down, in a low income area tow people cars $150 for tow then $125 for special service. The company is getting over on people. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Truck driver told me to get $150 cash to drop my truck off the tow. I come back in 2 minutes and he's gone. No surprise to me really seeing as they charge $360 to get it out of a lot. Okay still my fault for parking where I shouldn't. Here's the best part. The "24" hour towing company isn't open on Saturday and Sunday, kind of misleading right. Now the 17 miles I biked to get my vehicle out is of waste. I will never use this towing company in any situation and I strongly urge any one else to look elsewhere.

I was by my sister house parked in the VISITORS parking, I was in side the house for about an hour came out my car was gone, that was a Saturday night, I went to get it they said I have to come back on Monday I went on Monday they said I'll have to pay $410 to get my car back. They tow cars illegally. I was parked in VISITOR parking and got there at 8:40pm and was leaving at 10:27pm and my car was gone when I came outside. What s the point of visitor parking spots if visitors cars get towed???

Wonderful place of business every one was very helpful they understood my need for very bad situation my car was stuck on i43 less then 30 minutes the tow truck driver was so nice he took me to a time machine drop my car off to repair shop then ask me did i need ride home very nice people. Thank God for nice people in the World.
As a property manager who has had Always Towing monitoring my lots for over a year, I have no complaints. They only tow cars that don't follow the rules. I strongly recommend working with them if you own or manage a property with private parking. It's free and you don't have to keep dealing with people parked where they shouldn't.
They have a contract with my apartment complex (Harbor Pointe Apartments) and as they were driving around the parking lot they decided to tow my truck that had the permit sticker on the windshield where it should be to legally park where I parked. The license plates were not expired, and the vehicle was not disabled. They towed my truck a half hour away to their place so I had to drive down there, ask why it was towed, and the guy had no clue. He then did not charge me at all but wouldn t admit they messed up. It wasted hours of my day to deal with this not to mention waking up, and having a mini heart attack when I saw that my truck was gone thinking it was stolen because there was literally no reason to tow the vehicle so it didn t even cross my mind. Terrible company. I really don t understand how you miss the sticker that you re looking for that s in the correct spot on the windshield. Clearly dumb, incompetent employees working for them then.
I would have rated a ZERO if that were an option.

Always Towing & Recovery is one of the most unprofessional businesses I ve ever encountered. It s bad enough they charge twice as much as the city for towing vehicles (Yes, $348 for towing your vehicle). They also damage vehicles and are unprofessional about following up after a dispute is made. I was literally told, do you want your car fixed or not? when I explained I m not available at a certain time to answer the phone, because I ll be working. I also had to call several times before I could get in touch with someone and yes I left multiple voicemails. This tow company is ridiculous and the Better Business Bureau should hold Always Towing & Recovery accountability for negligence and poor customer service!
We call them to get our car tow back to our house. Reasonable price for a car and a trailer. They were professional and got told us our time. The driver was good and help us out. They did took pictures of the car and the trailer. I guess to show proof of what they tow. However they were professional with us.

Being from a small city in NE Wisconsin, I have never been in a big city tow truck/ impound lot type of situation and was, to be honest, really nervous about the fact that my car had been towed by this company with bad reviews after it broke down on the interstate. I made it a point to add this rating to the negative ones because the whole process went so smoothly and the people were so darn friendly! Sometimes it's nice for people to hear a good review!
Worest place ever truck was towed last night after the driver told me to give him 50 soon as I went in the house to get my purse he tried to pull off I had to run after the truck when he stop he dropped a car of the truck not once but 3 times the driver was new and didn't no what he was doing got the the place to find out you have to pay 350 not fair when the driver told me $50 widest service ever and the guy at the window was not helpful at all not happy at all totally rip off
The manager owner is a jerk. You can sign and authorization to get your car released and fax it back. Then you can call and see if your car was release to the repair shop and he will say I have to have a copy of your driver lic thats our company policy. I said it does not say that on your release. He said I don't care thats our policy. I said how would I know thats your company policy if its not typed any where on your release form. He said I don't care if its not on the release it our company police I said dumb go add it to your release form so people know they have to copy their driver lic and fax it along. Your ass hole. They are just trying to collect more storage fees.
Nice to know in the middle of a pleage where so many are trying to work with the people, you still charge 350min if someone makes a simple mistake. Everyone else is effected but towing is just ok with sucking the people dry while they struggle through these times. I really hope karma finds everyone involved in this field

I never write reviews but feel I had to for this. I went to a concert at the Rave and parked in an apartment complex. When I came out after the show, I found that my car had been towed. There were no parking signs posted so it was clearly my fault. The problem was, I was stranded in a city 2 hours away from where I live and I had to pay $381 to get my car back. This is clearly extortion at its finest because they know that they have you by the stones. The money would've been better spent by handing it over to any one of the countless homeless people that asked for it as I walked the roughly 10 blocks to where my car was located. The only positive part of the whole experience was the staff. They were nice enough to not kick me out when the front office closed and allowed me to get my ransom together so that I wasn't stranded the entire weekend. Referring someone to this place would be like setting someone up on a blind date with Jeffrey Dahmer (Milwaukee reference). This company will continue to prey upon society and gouge people's eyes out for parking in the wrong spot so customer service and word of mouth is of little value.

This company is absolutely horrible. I recently moved into a new complex on Saturday 5/2 and my vehicle was towed from my assigned parking space at 6am on 5/5. I went to the tow place with my lease to show that I was legally parked in my parking space and was shrugged off with an, "oh well, you need a permit" I had to pay $410 to get my vehicle back. My vehicle was towed at 6am on 5/5 and I picked my vehicle up at 9am on 5/6 because they were already closed when I called them on 5/5. They have a bullet proof one way glass up inside of the place and you can't even see who you are talking to. Even with my lease showing that I was legally parked they did not budge with the price. I cannot believe that my car was even towed and then having to pay $410 to get the vehicle back. Lawsuit pending.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. Wait time with one person ahead of me was an hour. The person behind the desk was slow unprofessional and took many phone calls before assisting me. Disgusting place.
I called Always Towing because a car was parked in my reserved apartment spot. They told me they would be out to tow the car within 45 minutes. I called an hour later and they said they were trying to get a tow out there, but it was a busy night (it was a Tuesday). After another hour, I called and they told me to relax and that other tow jobs had priority.
3 hours after I originally requested the tow, the car left my spot. I called always back to let them know I no longer needed a tow and to give them a piece of my mind. They said they had no record of my request and all tow requests were made.
Where do I begin. I was towed on my date night for parking in apartment complex near the pasta tree. My fault totally!!!! The worker bees for Always were nice enough, but certainly didn't do me any favors. What I do have a problem with is the amount of money they charged me. When I picked up my vehicle from their secured storage. I noticed Sherriff plaques everywhere. Anyway they ended up charging me 374 dollars total. 225 for the tow and 105 dollars for storage. I would consider this extortion in this economy. What if I didn't have any money? My car would have just sat with daily charges compounding and ultimately crushed.

Criminals, thieves, and improperly towing vehicles with no cause. Then extorting people of money they don't have. Yes imI upset, but imI being very logical. They still my vehicle and wouldntw return even though there was no cause for towing at the time. I was in a commercial lot for less than 40 minutes as a customer. They won't even pick up the phone.

Yeah wow, screw this place. Walk in to a cell like area, waiting for the slow as molasses desk attendant. Get done with completing my extortion transaction, and then told I cannot go get my car from the lot myself when it clearly says "One person in tow lot at a time" and "no person allowed in yard unsupervised at any time." If we cant go get it ourselves, then why even post the notices? They then try to tell me it is an additional $125 to tow it to the gate. I DONT WANT A STRANGER IN MY CAR! If i wanted to, I would do uber. Screw this place and any business working with them .

They did a great job getting my car free when it was hanging off the edge of a concrete driveway.
Blocked my car in, and when I came outside I would move the vehicle, BEFORE they hooked up the equipment on the vehicle, they gave me a number to call and said they couldn't do anything until they heard from them. So when speaking to Brandon at dispatch, he said he would call and have the driver stop, but after speaking to the driver , he told me I had to pick the car up from the impound lot, so I called Brandon back to figure out what happened, he said the vehicle was already picked up and towed and I had to pick up the car from the lot, although the driver was clearly not off the property yet. Brandon refused to give me a manager's name and even hung up the phone on me although I was calm and courteous. It was only after my persistence did he give me his manager's name (Jay) who conveniently didn't have a phone line or voice-mail set up, and Brandon told me Jay would not be available until after 9am the next day. Overall I believe this company to be very predatory, rude, have employees who are liars, and a sad excuse for a business. Strongly encourage you to not use them, and be prepared to be treated wrongly.
