I live around the corner from this place and I have to say the people who work there are freakin' AWESOME!! That being said, I WISH the food was as good as the prices they charge. I really do. Because I don't mind paying more for excellent food.

Last week, I got a Reuben sandwich. The meat was so fatty and chewy, i had to toss it. I decided: No more Rubens. This morning I went for my fave -- the $12.95 bagel and lox plate to go. When I got home, I realized there were no picked onions in the container. That's like having sweet OR sour chicken. I went back and was told they were out of pickled onions. The server was gracious and added some more olives and onion slices. I got back home and took 4 bites of saltiness and decided to make myself some cereal. I figure each un-enjoyable bite cost me around $3.00. It's like ordering a sushi roll, getting charged for a sushi roll, bringing it home and finding out they were out of rice. So here's what you get - not what you ordered from their menu.

Again - FABULOUS STAFF! The food isn't worth the $$$.
