Overnighter with my wife to see Theresa Caputo in their showroom. first time at this resort. It is clean.Everywhere. There was a man sweeping pebbles on the sidewalk by the parking garage when we left.
We had a double queen on the 11th floor. Room is huge and again, clean. Ample towels and excellent linens. we were surprised though that housekeeping came into our room while we were at the show and turned down our beds and straightened our room. They even put my oranges on a white towel on the desk. Shower can accommodate a person with special needs, ample seating in the shower and again, clean.
We ordered fish tacos in the cafe and I had the prime rib special. My wife's taco's looked yummy, my prime rib sat on the warmer too long and was dry, the gravy had a skin on it. After seeing my first choice, the shrimp and linguine come out I should have stuck with that. All the food served at the cafe that I could view going past our table was very well presented. Man that pot pie looked marvelous. Not enough refills on my ginger ale. Eggs benedict in the morning was the best, coffee hot and fresh. I drink my coffee black and grind beans myself so I know good coffee, they serve good coffee.
The show. The seating is spacious, more than enough ushers to find your seat for you and a smile every time.
The staff. The staff at this casino is without a doubt the most accommodating as I have found at any hotel. Always a smile and a genuine 'thank you" not canned, not rehearsed. The management should be proud of their staff.
4 stars because of the smoke. We were on the 11th floor and could smell it when waiting for the elevator. The odor kept my wife out of the casino and in her room.
Excellent choice for a weekend getaway, only 94 miles from Orange Ca. to the resort, a real pleasurable experience.
