I had a bad experience with this place. We purchased our Mazda from here and that part was all right. The salesperson didn't know too much about the cars, which was unfortunate, but the purchase process was fairly simple. The talked is into an "Autobarn protection plan," that included things like oil changes, clear coat for the paint, etc etc. It was rolled into to car and the plan spanned the amount of the loan.

We paid our car off within a year. We wanted to get the refunds for the part of the protection plan we didn't use. The GAP was ok to get back, though it took two contacts. The rest was a disaster. We were told that we would get the money after stuff was processed. We then called and emailed after not hearing back and basically got the run around to the point we had to come in AGAIN. At this point, we had been trying to get this money back for a couple months. The person who speaks to me said we weren't going to get any refund because the protection plan is "all rolled in" so they wouldn't know how much to return to us. First of all, I did math to figure out what we were due. It could be done. Second, we were told several times we were getting money back but never did in the end.

To appease us, they gave us vouchers for detailing and oil changes. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from Autobarn and I will definitely tell my friends to stay away as well.
