I was in town for a basketball tournament and decided to take the kids sight seeing after. We had heard some ghost stories based on this hotel and decided to check it out. As it is a functioning hotel, I went to the front desk to ask if it would be okay to have the kids walk around and we were given a paper with the history of the place. As we went upstairs to visit one of the places mentioned in the paper, hotel security stopped us and was very rude while speaking to us even when I attempted to explain that I had asked at the front desk for permission. I was cut off and told that no one was allowed to just walk around. The staff needs to get on the same page
