The Cleaning Authority - Humble Review

I want to share my personal experience in hiring Cleaning Authority service. The team sent a maid who worked well in cleaning my house. I wanted to clean it myself but being very busy with my office work these days with the traffic in Houston, I simply don t have time. They also clean much better and do things I would never do.

I ve been a happy customer for several years now. They always do a great job!

I definitely will not purchase from this cleaning service again. The customer service is awful. The cleaning was mediocre. The maids broke a vase while they were inside my home and they left a note apologizing. I tried contacting the owner regarding my broken vase and he still has yet to return my calls or emails. The maids did not sweep nor mop my floors even though they claim that is number one on their list of items. The owner also charged my card without my authorization. I was informed that he has done this to several customers. I would suggest using a check for payment if you choose this company for services. He was more concerned with getting his $130.00 than true customer service. I still have not received any compensation for my broken vase. This is a very unprofessional owner and business and I would suggest you take your business elsewhere.

TEAM # 3 Monica and Laura has been cleaning my home for 1 1/2 year I have been very satisfied with the results .

I like how they treat their customers. Very quick and reply quickly and fast in fixing appointments. The staff is pro-active and finishes the job as soon as they can. I would definitely refer it to my friends who are in need of your services.

I loved their services. They are so professional and come all prepared. The best thing is that they are quite reasonable from other cleaning services.

I have been using the Cleaning Authority for about 2 years now. Before I decided to use their services, I had a consultation visit with the owner. He spent over an hour with me answering my questions, explaining how their cleaning program worked (I really like the cleaning rotation model they have in place) for and then walked through our home in order to give me a quote for their service. I was very impressed with him, the company as well as the price. I have had the same crew for almost 2 years now and they are wonderful!! They do a great job and I am VERY happy with the service I have been getting. Anytime I ve had questions regarding billing, scheduling or anything else, they (both the owner and his assistant) have returned my calls promptly and have always worked with me on scheduling changes, additional cleanings or anything else I ve needed. I am very satisfied with The Cleaning Authority and would highly recommend them!!

This is the first time I have used a cleaning SERVICE, as opposed to individual house cleaners. I am very pleased with both the quality of the cleaning, and the friendlinesss of the employees. I've cycled through five or six gals to get to the team I have now. One of the issues I have had with indivduals (as opposed to a business), is that sometimes I do not want a personal relationship - I just want the house cleaned. These gals are both professional, and friendly. They visit with me when I am available, and leave me alone in my office when I am not. I would, and have recommended them to others.

Have been using them for over a year and through COVID, very professional, efficient and friendly.

After a party at my home in Humble where we had more than 100 guests, I got worried about how to clean up everything, we of course got all the big stuff but were just so tired. Thankfully I knew Team 11 of The Cleaning Authority was coming the next day and helped me out. I'm so glad and thankful they come each week.

Only used them for two weeks and was scheduled for the third week today. My appointment was for 12 and apparently they showed up at about 130, if time wasn t of Essence I wouldn t need to hire a cleaning crew. Every single time they were late. I was waiting to build my trust before I gave them a key to my home. No concern or passion from either person I spoke to, I will be finding a new company! Actually sad because I liked the crew that cleaned my house but again my time is valuable and sitting around waiting on a cleaning crew doesn t fit into my plans or I Wouldn t have to hire a cleaning crew.

"My team" came in and took over! I like walking through my house now

The Cleaning Authority always does a great job. My house always smells fresh afterwards, and I know it gets a good clean every time.

The cleaning crew is always timely & get straight to work. So far I'm pleased with the services which helps keep my house in order while I manage other household chores & family!

The ladies work very hard and are dedicated to doing a good job. They are very pleasant and do not hang out on the telephone (they work).

I have been using Humble TCA for a couple months now - I really like their service, the employees are friendly and courteous in your house (and work with you if you are home with the kids and need to move room to room!). My floors are by far the best part and most noticeable clean! I don't like how they don't come at the same time - always the same day but the time differs by many hours, and that makes things tricky (though they do offer a key service).

The Cleaning Authority keeps my wife happy. This makes me happy.

My girlfriend and i were looking for a local cleaning service to help with weekly visits. We were more than impressed with the level of service provided. The owner of the branch personally came to my house last week to give me an estimate and sat with me in my home for almost an hour discussing options and security features (which was already very impressive compared to other companies we looked at using). Yesterday was the first scheduled cleaning and we were overwhelmed with the attention to detail and overall cleanliness of our home. Accessories and clothing weren't just tossed aside, but neatly put away in an areas we could easily find later and put in the correct place. All of the beds were made (very well) in each room before they left. The cleaning crew left a quick list of the things they did while they were there so it's really easy to go behind them and see how well they did. I also noticed another report next to theirs - it was from a quality control manager who just happened to stop in while the crew was cleaning our house to ensure that everything was handled in accordance with our wishes. I couldn't be happier with this service and highly recommend it to everyone in the Humble area. These guys truly know what they are doing, and do it well. Bravo.

Team 3, Monica and Margarita are the most diligent, hard working, trust worthy. They know what needs to be done, and they do it. We do not want any other team cleaning our home.

Margarita and Monica (Team 3) in Humble are great. They do a fantastic job cleaning the house and focus on every detail. They also look after my mom if I am not present during the clean. They are a great Team!!

Team 9 did a great job, even while we're remodeling our home they still make it look amazing. Thank you kayla and cynthia!

Didn't clean the items they claim to on their routine lists. Bathrooms dirty were we had to redo the tubs and counters ourselves. Don't waste your time or money with them.

Miss Kayla and Miss Chloe are the best in the business. If you want it done right the first time and to detail, they are the ones to ask for. There truly is no one better. They are the epitome of perfect and professionalism.

The two person team arrived and got right to work. They took care of the general cleaning along with the areas that are deep cleaned on alternating visits thoroughly scrubbed. I greatly appreciate the professional approach and the good work that they do. Team 4 was up to bat today and knocked it out of the park!

Have been using Cleaning Authority - Humble for years and have always been satisfied. Especially that they have been able to deal with my dogs without any problems even when I'm not there.

I haven't had my house cleaned professionally since the pandemic started. With 5 kids at home, I was feeling overwhelmed trying to keep it up on my own and especially since my in-laws are coming to visit tomorrow. My cleaning team did an amazing job! I love the attention to detail they have with the bedrooms and baseboards They even cleaned under my couch cushions! It feels great to have the entire house cleaned at the same time. Can't wait to have them come clean again!

I run a motel and my housekeeping staff left without any notice. So I called Link staffing and they worked as my life saviors. They not only provided me with the staff but also made sure that they work hard to cover up the pending work. I really appreciate your help.

I was moving out of an apartment so I called Cleaning Authority and booked an appointment. There were two ladies who came with all the supplies, cleaning clothes and liquids. They cleaned it so well as if no one ever lived in that place before. I would definitely call them again for my new place.

Team 9 has been working with me for quite some time and I couldn't be more pleased with their cleaning! They are quick and efficient and always leave a note on the invoice. Wouldn't trade them for anything! Thanks Team 9!!

I had my first deep clean with The Cleaning Authority a few days ago. Team 4 - Kristal, Peggy & Kim, did a great job. They were on time, courteous, hard working and thorough. I am very pleased.

So where do I start? I'm the type of person who is big on customer service. Well I guess they don't care about loyalty and great customer service. I was charged 48.00 half of a cleaning without my knowledge because I have cancelled cleanings for the last three months. So instead of them reaching out to me to inquire about the change in my needs, and see what adjustments in my cleaning schedule or if any could be made they just charged me without my knowledge. I'm not bound by a contract, and I cancel in a timely manner. I informed who I assume was the office manager that did you go and look through my account history to see how many cleanings I've had?? Did you reach out to me via phone, email or send me an invoice regarding this charge? No? They took it upon themselves to go into my account without prior authorization. Also, the fee I was charged wasn't even applicable to me. Do you really think this is the way you retain customers?? Why would I continue to do business with a company that treats its customers like this? Sure I didn't need a cleaning in the last three months, but for over a year I have been getting monthly cleanings. This is truly distasteful, and I will never use your services or recommend them again.

First off, I dont write reviews. Like at all.
But I had to write a review on the Cleaning Authority! I moved into my house a year a half ago and with all of my traveling for work, I really needed to hire someone to help keep the house clean. I didnt want to spend my weekends at home cleaning. I wanted to relax and worry on other items, but as I assume most people would think, a cleaning service isnt cheap. But I did a little research and after some good looking reviews I gave the cleaning authority a call. I was a little nervous on the price, as they needed to come out to the house and look things over before giving a number. Lets just say my jaw hit the floor when I was told what it would cost me. A three story house over 3000 square foot, 4 bedrooms, etc. for a once a month cleaning, cost less than most people spend on gardening services in this area! All I can say is there are very few times in life when you truly feel like you've gotten an amazing deal and the product is just as good. This is one of those times. I'm telling you, this is the cleaning company to go with. You wont regret it.

The cleaning was fine but, when they raised their rates and sent no notifications, they actually went into my bank account without authorization and took the $9.96 the rate went up. Needless to say, I was angry. It's not the franchise, it's corporate idiocy. They refunded it and I fired them. If you use them, don't give them your cc info ever.

Clarence and Minerva did an amazing job on my home today! This was my first time having a professional cleaning, and I am in awe! Thank you Cleaning Authority.

I am so pl;eased with the services you provide. The ladies are so friendly. They come in and immediately go to work. They answer any questions I may have. I could not be more pleased.

On December 17, 2014 my house was cleaned by Sandra and Elizabeth at approximately 1130 am. I was at work and often allowed the Cleaning Authority to clean my home when I wasn't there. I work an excess of 50 hours a week and don't often get home until after 6pm. Anyway, this day I got home at 630 noticed this team wasn't nearly as effective as other teams they have (trash left in two rooms, tables not dusted, etc) but let it go b/c I was too tired to worry with it. At 830 I went to my bedroom to gather a pair of Fossil earrings I had JUST bought on 12/12/14. THEY WERE GONE. I know exactly where I had left them and I searched and literally tore up my bedroom to find them. I NEVER FOUND THEM. So...I called the number for the Cleaning Authority. I was told that at 9pm, I am not able to talk to the owner b/c it is too late and he will call me ASAP the next day. I asked what time that would be and I was told I'd be called by 8am.
The next day, no call at 8...no call at 830...no call at 9...I finally called them 2x (858am and 1035am) and had to leave messages. I finally got a call at 1111 am and was told that he'd have to research it. I gave him the exact website and description and how much I paid for them and that I just wanted them back. He said he'd look into it. Ok. Fine.
I got a call back a few hours later and was told that Sandra had cleaned my bedroom and SHOCK she doesn't remember seeing the earrings and that they are SURE that I had just misplaced them and would find them soon. He told me that she had worked for him for a year and WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS and he's positive I had misplaced them. I advised him AGAIN that I had looked literally EVERYWHERE and the earrings were gone. I did not lay blame on anyone but did insinuate they had been stolen. He asked if I wanted them replaced or a credit to my bill. I said I wanted them replaced. He asked if I had filed a police report. No, at the time I did not want to accuse anyone, I just wanted my earrings back. He said he'd replace them. That was on 12/18/14. It is now 1/8/15 and he has not upheld his agreement. I had to REPURCHASE the earrings that were STOLEN BY HIS EMPLOYEE.
In a few words...DO NOT HIRE.

Team 4 Maria, and Kayla have been to our house twice. They do excellent work, and are very quick and efficient!! Super friendly as well! We hope you continue to send these two wonderful ladies in the future. They know where everything is, and they know what our preferences are.

But applications and even called they said somebody was supposed to call me back no one ever did so I wouldn't mind going to working there cuz they both to have a great reputation but after calling people back I wouldn't even give it to him you lucky I'm giving two Star there one

I received an in-home estimate for a deep clean of my apartment and they scheduled the cleaning for the following week. I was told that the cleaners would be arriving at 12 & finishing up around 2, and if they needed to take more time to clean, they would be able to do so. Here we are, on cleaning day, and when they did not arrive by 12:30, I called the office & they told me that the cleaners were still working on the last house & were still planning on coming. They did not call me to tell me this. I had to call them. They did not apologize. They did not give me an estimate of when they might arrive, so I assumed it might be another 30 minutes or so. At 2, when they were supposed to be done cleaning my apartment, they still had not arrived. I called again & a man answered and told me they would be arriving between 2:30 & 4:30. I asked if they had pushed my timeframe back & he said, "I don't know." I proceeded to ask if they would be cleaning in that timeframe and he said, "They. Will. Be. Arriving. Between. 2:30. And. 4:30." He was quite rude and unprofessional. After all, they are the ones who did not show up on time, nor call to tell me they would be pushing my time back. I am very unhappy with how unprofessional the office staff is & how little they value customer service.

The cleaning ladies arrived at 3:30 & did an amazing job. They are the only reason I am giving this company 2 stars. They worked efficiently to get done in a timely manner & the apartment looks great. I am grateful that they did not do a sloppy job just because they were behind schedule. They did what they knew needed to get done & did it well.

I am impressed with the cleaning, but the people who are scheduling & in the office really need to evaluate how they run the company & decide if they value their customers at all. I would recommend the cleaners, but because the management is subpar, I would have to say that I do not recommend this company.

The 2 ladies on the cleaning crew responsible for my house are always on time and very professional! They keep the house in great shape.

Team 9, Kayla, Clarence and Brenda- cleaned my house again today. My house is normally in fairly good condition from a cleanliness standpoint. I can say however after Team 9 cleans the cleanliness of the house is noticeable different.

I just searched in Google for a good house cleaning service provider in Kingwood and contacted Cleaning Authority. They did so much detail that there was no sign of dirt in my home. All the floors, bathrooms, kitchen and just everything was looking new. Saves me so much time.

Hiring someone is a very tough job but I liked how Cleaning Authority of Humble people handle it with so ease. I would definitely coming back for more business and would love to recommend you to anybody in need.

I can count on Monica and Margarita every time for a great cleaning!!! I always enjoy seeing them - especially after we moved and they seemed so genuinely happy to see our new home. I've also come to appreciate management for their leniency when I have had to reschedule without a lot of notice. They are always courteous and I have no complaints! The cost might seem high, but you get what you pay for it. They are worth it!

Team 8 is GREAT! Clarence and Minerva always do an awesome job cleaning my house. It's so lovely to have them clean on a Friday and enjoy a spotless house all weekend. Don't wait to get your weekends back!

I had my first visit - deep-cleaning of the bathrooms and the kitchen on October 27, 2014. I've never had a maid service before so I don't have anything to compare to except ME cleaning the house and I could not be more pleased. The two women were on time, polite, and did a GREAT job. The price is reasonable and I'm thrilled to not having to be doing it myself. Many thanks for a clean house!

Team #3 Monica and Margarita are the best! The house sparkles after they are done. We have been using the Cleaning Authority Humble office since we moved to our new house in 2012 on an every-other-week schedule. If we still had kids at home it probably would have been more frequent. They are hardworking and very conscientious. Working from home since March 16th and self-isolating with my husband would have been a nightmare if it weren t for them. I told Monica that I should put her on my mantle with my collection of angels!
The Cleaning Authority sends an email two days out and calls with the scheduled time slot the day before. The rotation system used by the Cleaning Authority is what really sold me on trying them in the first place. In addition to the routine areas that they clean every time, the house is divided into four rotation areas with additional tasks in that area each time. I never would have cleaned those additional areas every two months, if ever. I haven t had to buy cleaning supplies or a new vacuum cleaner, so you have to factor in those expenses when you do a cost-benefit analysis. The number one priceless benefit is no bickering about who has done the most around the house or who cleaned the bathroom last. It most likely saved our marriage. I m not even exaggerating!
