I love the Royal Botanic Garden. It is just so peaceful even though its only a stone throw from the city. Make sure to visit the exhibit at the Calyx. They have the most amazing orchids on display. Parking is pretty good along Mrs Macquaries Rd if you want a quick visit. Or if you are starting at the park gates by the Opera House, walk along the foreshore and for a drink at Busbys bar, you might even find yourself an avid spectator to a wedding at the popular Harbourview Lawn next door. If you are parking on Mrs Macquaries rd, fill your metre, the rangers are very fast and efficient!
