The six-day tour was certainly adequate for a budget tour. Saw all the places and several more than on the itinerary. Our driver/tour guide, Rory, was an excellent bus driver and provided us with plenty of Irish tales as well as light history of the places we visited. The B&B s were just okay to decent, as expected. One or two had some sort of problem, like no hot water, no heat, plumbing/electrical problems, uncomfortable beds and just okay breakfasts. A couple were actually very nice. The one night we were treated to dinner by Paddy Wagon Tours was the worst food on the trip. Believe this bar/restaurant is called Randy Leprechaun in the town of Anascaul, and it was attached to a hostel and next door to our B&B. Just because the food is free, doesn t mean it has to be bad. At the same establishment, the water in my sink ran black. I took a sample to one of the employees and he basically ignored me....think he was cooking the breakfasts, but appeared to be part of the management. Be warned....when you book a budget tour, do not expect the best of everything.
