I was contacted by Goni recently. I was NOT looking for a new car, but he said that they were offering GREAT deals on the 2015 Kia Fortes and that they would be able to get me 0% interest. I explained to him that I had previously paid too much on the 2013 Kia Rio that I purchased from them and was upside down on it. I also told him my credit score was only about 645. He ASSURED me time after time that they would be able to get me nearly 0% interest and URGED me to come in and see what they had to offer. With trading in the Rio and purchasing the Forte I would have been financing about 22,000. The best deal they could make me was 420.00 a month for 75 months! Goni kept the keys to my Rio while he went back and forth from the finance office several times and each time came back with a terrible offer. Let's do the math 22,500/75=300. So my monthly payments at 0% would be 300 a month. Whereas 425*75=31,875! That is almost 0% financing? When I asked my finance rate would be Goni explained that he didn't know yet because I hadn't approved. WHAT?! So you have a principal amount and a monthly payment, but you have NO IDEA what the finance rate is??? How is that even possible? Scammers and con artists who wasted 3 hours of my time WHEN I WASNT EVEN LOOKING FOR A CAR TO BEGIN WITH! I was just going to see what they would offer and had to turn down their offer 5 times before he handed me back my keys and let me leave. Absolutely the worst
