Alexander Bindrim Review of Metropolitan Opera

I've only been to the Opera three times in my life; two of them were here are both were absolutely unforgettable. I saw La Traviata, a stunning minimalist performance, and Tristan und Isolde, which had a modern coat of paint and unforgettable visuals playing with cross sections of space and the interplay or light and dark. The place exudes the sense of monumental space and just being in it makes you feel like part of some huge endeavor. I'm no expert, but I think it's a beautiful opera house.
