What a blessing this place has been. The people who work here are amazing and very understanding. You will not find an easier route to recovery. They make it easier for you not them...for you! I was scared to walk in their door, now I am so proud of myself that I did. Blessed to have them on my side. Thank you Project Recovery! A special thanks to David for hooking me up with the tele visit. It helped so much with what I have going on THANK YOU!

Since day one when I started going the staff have been nothing but really nice and caring they're really involved on my progress which is really awesome they helped me out more than once on certain occasions when I would go in there and I was just starting fresh had nothing but I was staying clean and sober and they provided me with a coat one time which meant a lot to me at the time because it was Winter and I had none and every time I go in there there's always something there always so caring I never dread going in there that's for sure I would think every single one of them for just being caring and helping out as much as they can I'm honestly surprised because if all the people in the world acted like they act the world would be a lot better place

What an amazing work you all are doing for the state. Your staff is a beacon of light for NORMAL people with a normal disease. It is hard to find non judgemental professionals to assist with personal issues you would rather keep secret. millions of doctors prescribe pain medicine and help to create this disease but there are much fewer doctors out here assisting the addict to try to conquer it. I am so excited to see the community and communities throughout South Dakota overcome their struggles through the conscience of telemedicine As we all know addiction is not only the issue of the addict but it is everyone s issue in some way. I look forward to seeing the heeling spread through this fabulous supportive and inexpensive program. Did I mention it s inexpensive!!!!!
Thank you for seeing the patient not the addict.

Everytime I have been treated with the upmost respect. The Drs. really care about your recovery. All of the staff is there to make sure your recovery is working. You are greeted with a smile, and I've enjoyed sharing my recovery with this well rounded staff. Do not believe the bad reviews, those are most likely the people not trying or taking their recovery seriously. The program works if you want to try. Medicated assistant treatment does work, but that is only half the work, the other half is having a knowledgeable and experienced staff who cares. Let me tell you, they do care. Thanks Project Recovery for over a year straight because of you!

I m from Texas but moved to North Dakota one year ago. I was searching for a new provider and found it better for my situation to drive to Rapid City each month for my visit instead of staying local in ND. I am so happy I found this place. Everyone is so nice, nonjudgmental, easy to talk to. I ve never felt more comfortable going to a doctor in my life. I m definitely going to miss y all when I head back down south!

I absolutely love that this is available to the community here now. Its a much needed facility & the staff have been wonderful & kind & compassionate. They have been amazing to my wife & I. The only complaint I've got this far is the fact that my wife's over due & pregnant with our twins & had to reschedule 1 appt. & the staff were notified & told us theyd give her a call back asap bout filling a 2day script for my wife until the next scheduled appt. & Nobody even bothered to call us back or call in the script so my wife ended up sick & is going without when they could've at least called back & let us know something either way. Other than this incident it's been a blessing in our life & my family's recovery

Project Recovery seems a paragon of innovation in the field of addiction. While the rest of the west South Dakota area has fought medically assisted treatment methods, Project Recovery has come to the aid of many of those left behind.

Despite the grandiosity of the previous paragraph, they handle their responsibilities in a way that s both effective and accommodating to their patients.

I would definitely recommend for any of those still in question!

Project Recovery is such a Good send to me and I am sure for others. A needed place.l don't know where I'd be without it. All the staff is wonderful. Group is a very nessary part of my healing process, and Becca makes it a great experience.Like I said without this program I'd still be looking down an empty pill bottle wondering how I could get more. So Thanks to all for making me feel whole and somewhat normal.ihave been going to Project Recovery for 1 year now,I just have to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you there at A.R.C.who played a big part in my recovery.i just can't say enough about how caring people can be, espically when I thought no one cared. So again THANKS AGAIN A.R.C.

They always make you feel safe, welcome, comfortable, and important. The staff is friendly and kind. The doctor's listen to you and don't just dismiss your problems. They work with low income and have resources to help yu with any situation. I wouldn't be clean and sober if wasn't for the wonderful staff at project Recovery. Don't be afraid of them or the process, they are understanding!

The greatest staff in town, hands down! And don t ...

The greatest staff in town, hands down! And don t get me wrong, there are some unbelievable teams, dedicated towards providing for the less fortunate and who use various avenues to do so (I certainly don t mean to take away from their triumphs over the many obstacles our state puts in place) but rarely (if ever) have I witnessed the battle that Project Recovery faces every day; waging war against the faceless enemy of addiction and its seldom associated ally, The System , that plays a key role in reenforcing stereotypes in citizens who struggle with addiction.

Ignorant ideologies are the real enemy and Pennington County profiteers off the pandemic of addiction. Tell the world that addicts are morally bankrupt, social pariahs and you ll get your wish; shame and guilt being the main source of sustenance for substance abuse.

Throw an addict in jail without the necessary medication they ve been using to combat that addiction and you simply steal their weapon; recycling a suffering soul through the system until they no longer have any reason TO wage war. What might have once been a human being fighting a disease, instead, becomes a junkie with nothing left to strive for. The System profits and people die.

Project Recovery knows this. They see it, every day. They ve seen addicts come through their doors broken, armed them with Suboxone, given them self-esteem and the understanding that they are MORE than the sum of their sickness. They see that person succeed, set goals, strive on through perilous odds and peer pressure.

And then they watch as 24/7 (a spineless system simpering behind The MADD Movement) profits and punishes these people. (Yes, addicts ARE people . In fact, they re sad people ) throwing them in jail without their medication; Pennington County Jail more fraught with buffets of illegal substances than any trap house or back alley of any big city.

And then Project Recovery starts over. Because what comes out of Pennington County is NOT the same as what went in. The addict is set back to square 1: Full-blown, tunnel-vision junkie mode.

Sometimes, Project Recovery succeeds. Sometimes they get that soul back on track. But, I imagine, many times they fail.

You can only tell a man that he is worthless so many times... before he TRULY becomes a man without worth.

Despite this, the team at Project Recovery keeps on. They schedule appointments. They call the man. They assure him that his value is beyond borders and stars and now, more than ever, he s armed with the priceless gift of empathetic understanding to serve others.

And then they wait. They cross their fingers and they wait; prayers in their hearts, tears in their eyes.... they wait and see if that man, that person, those people , MAKE it to their appointment.

I don t know that I would have such courage or could invest so much into an idea, so stacked with odds against on either side. But I damn sure know that credit should be given where credit is due and so, I say, Project Recovery, thank you.

Like most people in recovery, facing a new option for HOPE, I was nervous! The staff were so compassionate and patient with all my silly questions and showed genuine kindness and empathy for me. Best new recovery journey jump-start ever. I left with not only hope, but real confidence. Recommend to everyone. Do not be scared. You are not alone.

THESE PEOPLE CARE!!! I've never been helped and genuinely cared about like I have been from every staff member here. They all take the time to actually hear what you're saying, and from that you are treated accordingly, whether it be with meds or counseling, they are there to help.
