I stayed at Innisbrook last night for my birthday...

I stayed at Innisbrook last night for my birthday with pretty high expectations for 250$ a night. I walked in the suite and it was pretty nice not as dated as everyone said. We turned on the tv in the living room - it didn't work. Okay no big deal called down they said they would send someone. So we had to wait an hour for maintenance who finally came fixed the problem and left. Later on we decided to go to dinner we ordered to go food from the lucky dill our bill came out to 50$ I gave her our debit card and she said it was declined I thought it was their mistake had her check it again declined . Checked my bank online and Inverness charged 500$ to my card locking my card down. Now I have to wait for three days to get the funds back. Vanesha was actually very good to us and gave us dinner at the salamander grille my husband was very impressed I however didn't like mine at all and didn't even eat it, i ate half of his. We had no money on our card to go down to the sponge docks like we had planned no money for coffee or breakfast in the morning nothing . Very disappointing. We came here to have a relaxing day with no issues thanks Inverness ! We were hoping to make this a permanent get away once a month but now we probably won't be returning. It makes you feel like your trust has been broken when your money is tampered with without warning.

I would like to add that they are actively working with me to fix this situation and said they will be calling back to give us a free stay for one night to make up for this. That's nice to know they cared and reached out like that . Thank you innisbrook for doing the right thing ! We will be coming back

They said they were sending us a voucher in the mail it's been two weeks and they never sent anything. I never even asked to be reimbursed it was just something they had offered. I was going to go down there and get a massage this week but I think I will pass on that too. I'm so tired of going back and forth with this place. It was a headache from the moment we stepped into here. It's just a shame people offer to make something right and then never do.
