My wife was checked in 2 days ago for abdominal pain, and after 2 days and multiple test, she healed.
Relatively easy to get admitted (they want your money after all), but almost 3 hours to get discharged after she was told she would be discharged. Is this because they bill the bed by the hour in Observation?

Discharge process was unfriendly and once the person came in to discharge, it took 7 minutes for the IV to be taken out and the paperwork to be given.

Why 3 hours from "you will be discharged to actually walking out the door"?
