I suffered a heart attack three weeks prior to my departure date and contacted lastminute.com straight away after my release from hospital as I was advised it would not be possible to travel for 4-6 weeks.
I was lucky enough to be able to contact and speak directly to a representative and provide all the information they requested as proof of my situation.
Lastminute.com promised my request would be dealt with as a priority but after three weeks nothing has happened and my holiday was not cancelled by them in spite of them promising they would issue me a refund.
I am now unable to contact lastminute.com by phone as they have disconnected their previous number and they are not responding to my very polite and clear e-mails.
I am disgusted with Lastminute.com as they have taken over a thousand pounds of my money and it seems I will not get it back. I hope people think twice before booking any trip with lastminute.com
