I placed an order for a product (paid in advance) ...

I placed an order for a product (paid in advance) for an xmas present only to be finally be told (after weeks waiting) that it wouldn't come in until February. Said the supplier forgot to include it in the shipment... then the truth came out when I was told that the manufacturer needs a minimum order in order to ship so my product hadn't shipped yet due to them not having enough product to fulfill the minimum order. If you can't place an order with your vendor , then don't sell the product. Very disappointed.
