While returning from a business trip between Louisiana and Jacksonville Florida, My 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 with 204000 miles suffered a major engine failure outside of Tallahassee. I went to the dealership to get
an estimated cost of repairs. The news was bad and the option was either putting good money into an 10year old truck or buying a solid vehicle off the lot. My salesman Eddie located a vehicle and got to work getting me a deal that I could live with. Everyone at the dealership was very compassionate and helpful at a time when stress was high for me. Broken down on the road far from home is not the best position to be in buying a new vehicle. They were able to put together a deal that not only got me a fair price for my trade but a purchase price that was in line with NADA cost figures, basically Kelly Blue book. I don't mind them making a few dollars, that's their business, I just didn't want to get hammered. Eddie told me the Chrysler 300 limited I bought got good gas mileage, but Tallahassee to Baton Rouge on 13 gallons is crazy good mileage. Thanks again to team at Tallahassee Dodge, if I need a new vehicle, hopefully not, but I will travel to Tallahassee to do a deal. PS. They even helped me transfer a truck of of belongings to my new car.
