We made a 7 night reservation at the Homewood Suites, received a confirmation number, AND prepaid with our credit card 6 days before our arrival. Imagine our surprise when on the day of our confirmed arrival and while exiting the plane in Omaha, I check my voicemail, and I have a message that says "we will not be able to accommodate you". I called the hotel, and the person that answered said they had overbooked and since we made the reservation through Priceline, they had deleted our room. No Apology, No suggestion for another hotel. Just a snarky "Sorry, you will need to find another Hotel". We are now left with a 7 day trip in Omaha with no Hotel and very few Hotels available (due to the College World Series in town). We found another hotel (9 miles away), and ended up missing a scheduled event. Thanks Hilton for easily the worst Hotel Experience that we have ever had. I am 57 years old and have traveled extensively in my career as a CFO for a billion dollar company, but Never Again at a Hilton. Priceline did honor their guarantee; at least they are reputable
