A great experience, and well worth the money. Some important notes:

1. Do the bus tour, but get there early. The line gets very long, very fast.

2. On the bus tour, if you sit on the driver side you will get a good view of the SpaceX launch pad, but little else. If you sit on the passenger side (right side if you're looking towards the front) you will see the other pads well, but not the SpaceX pad (39A).

3. There are various gifts stores throughout the property. The pricing is quite reasonable. Note that not all the gift stores have the same items, so if you see something you like ,grab it when you find it.
