The hotel was great and very accommodating. Very clean and up to date. The water park; the changingrooms were disgusting. The smell was bad. I bought a groupon for a ticket for 2 days at the water park, the woman at the surf shop, that was obviously annoyed to be there, refused to honor it for that saying it was for two people on the same day. She said that was how the groupon worked. There was nothing stated on the paper regarding that, and it was not how I or my husband read it. It was a huge disappointment. My children did have fun, the water was warm and there were a lot of lifeguards doing their jobs well. The chlorine level is very high for obvious reason, after 2 hrs everyones eyes were burning, but it was expected ( better than illness). The watwr park.is small, not worth the full price of admission, but with a groupon that is honored it is. We got a steal on the hotel/waterpark groupon as I think the hotel itself was worth the price. Goos customer service at the waterpark would have made my trip more enjoyable. I was later told that it depends who is manning the surfshop as to whether they will accommodate groupons correctly.
