Happened to stumble upon this museum when browsing the downtown area and was so glad to have been curious to check it out. The Money Museum is small, but free and a great look into the history of money in America. Any and everything you would like to know, it is covered here. From money during wartime to how money is destroyed, you'll learn about it here. It's also VERY interactive, you can grab a bag of shredded money, take photos with cubes and briefcases of a million dollars, and even make your own money. The team here was able to take a small space and make it one of the best stops on a visit to Chicago.
