We stayed at this wonderful hotel for over a week....

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for over a week. While some may say that the furnishings are a bit drab, we didn't think so. After all, it is an old, historic hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good with a nice selection of fresh fruits, breads, meats, cheeses, etc. The staff was very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very good service. The fitness center was being renovated, but should be opened within a couple of weeks. The hotel made other arrangements so we could exercise. Highly recommend this hotel. Only criticism: no coffee/tea in rooms. Good location a block off the walking streets.
