While on our RV road trip across America, we decided to stop by KSC. We were taken aback a bit by the price per ticket, but we thought that the museum would be worth it. There were plenty of exhibits and things to see (especially an actual space shuttle!!), we really felt our money would have been better spent not going to the space center. Your mileage may vary, but we would never go back.
