The most spectacular cultural experience this. The original theatre is a sight to see in its own right. Grand and just takes you back in time. We got to see Shurale when we visited and it was awesome. We sat in the first tier next to the emperor's box and the view was excellent,try to get into the first row. They have chairs instead of fixed seating here so moderately flexible to get a better view of needed. The care here is excellent with some good desserts and drinks choices , if possible book in advance so you have a table with your order ready for the break so you don't have to queue and hurry up in the end. Must visit when you visit SPB
