Well-kept hotel with very well trained and attentive staff. I stayed here for a two week business trip, and the housekeeping staff and the service staff in the restaurant catered to my every need and made my stay enjoyable. I enjoyed the Indian cuisine in the restaurant very much. I recommend giving the western dishes a pass.

The only issue was a wedding booked during my stay. There was very loud drumming and dancing outside my window until 11PM. Then, I was woken up the next (Saturday) morning before 6AM by drumming from the same wedding party. Thankfully, it was only one night. To be honest, this is a problem with all fine hotels in the area.

In any case, I still give five stars for the staff and highly recommend the Taj. Just check if there will be a wedding during your stay. I will likely stay here again on my next trip, if it is not during wedding season.
