Kennedy Mumford sold me my 2020 RAV4. He is an exceptional salesman and he made my experience very easy and treated me as if I were his family.
On the other hand, the service department has disappointed me a few times. I purchased a RAV4 in 2018, the issues were minimal, but the 2020 has been a nightmare. There are numerous problems with this car, and I have been told that their are others having the same problem. It is difficult to come to a stop, the car goes into battery saving mode, then release your foot from brake and the shift is so hard, it feels as though you have just been hit in the rear.
Don t bother to try an have any help from service on a Sunday. Yes the service is open, but there are only 2 advisors working, and they cannot leave the service drive lane AT ALL. This is my experience just yesterday. I asked them if one would ride around the circle to understand and feel the hit, but was informed they could not. I would have to come back and have a tech ride with me. Then as I leave it for them to inspect you have to go through all the trouble again explaining what is wrong.
Very unhappy at this time.
Oh and don t even think that there is someone who knows enough about the computer or navigation, it seems only 1 or 2 persons know enough to explain it to you and NEVER expect to get even a small question answered over the phone.
It would be nice if they offered free classes like Apple, so you could learn how the car operates. YouTube has great tudortorials so I feel this is my only option.
