My first time here was with a group of girls for a surprise birthday wine tasting. It is a beautiful venue and the staff is very friendly. Honestly, I'm not a big Virginia wine fan, however, this winery had some great VA wines that I fell in love with. We did the private wine tasting in their quaint, cozy lodge then headed outside for a picnic, where they have ample picnic bench tables. It's awesome outside b/c they have a family friendly side and adult only side. Not only are they a great local winery, but also very giving. They donated a couple wine tastings for my company charity golf tournament! I would definitely recommend this local winery for any special occasion such as a girl's day out or a romantic tasting/picnic lunch!
