We showed up with a party of 10 and they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Quite impressive!
The one and only reason I'm not giving this five stars is because the older hostess made it clear she was unhappy that we did not have a reservation. The young hostess was very friendly however and was able to seat us quickly.
After we were seated, we unexpectedly had an additional two people added to our party. They made mention of how the older hostess didnt hide her negative feelings toward having to accommodate them. But, our server Mary was kind enough to move us to an even larger table in a private room (reservation for room had been cancelled prior to our showing up, so it just happened to work in our favor). Although we were all very apologetic, Mary made us feel welcome and thankfully remained our server.
Our wait staff was amazing and the food was delicious. We ordered the braised beef ribs grilled cheese sandwich, fried oysters, crabcakes, quail, Habanero chicken sausage scramble, steak and eggs, etc. Our entire group of 12 loved their meals and all want to return.
The $2 mimosas were all champagne with a drop of orange juice! Spicy bloody marys were the bomb! Loved it!
