I was rear-ended in early November 2015 by an ACCC customer. So far its been quite the challenge dealing with this insurance. If you are hit by one of these drivers, CALL the police and get a report no matter what!!! I called her insurance the next day to sort everything out. ACCC would not do anything since the driver who hit me would not answer her phone. She never contacted her insurance to report the accident. So, I had to wait for the police report to come out. Finally since they could not contest the report, I received payment for repairs 4 weeks after the accident. This was after multiple phone calls, purchasing the report myself, and staying on top of everything MYSELF. Now that my vehicle is in the shop, ACCC provided me with a rental for 9 days with hertz. So when I get to hertz, they put me in the smallest vehicle they had on the lot. I normally drive an SUV. So I sucked it up and said its only for a short time. What really got my blood boiling is that ACCC did not even pay the full amount of the rental. I had to pay $102 out of my pocket for the rental. I have tried contacting the insurance for the last 4 days, leaving 3 messages, and now they refuse to return my call.
I don't usually leave reviews, but after this experience, I felt compelled to warn people. My point is to get a police report no matter what, and please don't be a customer of this insurance. They are vultures and refuse to be fully accountable for their drivers mistakes.
