I consider Marmot one of my home mountains, together with sunshine village. Big fan of the size and placement of the parking lots being near the bottom of the hill, meaning you can pick up things from the car throughout the day rather than storing them in the chalet. Lifts are up to date with almost all quads with the exception of the knob chair which is still a double. Lower runs can be packed as with any hill, conditions change quickly, but if you get a good clear day go to the knob for great powder, not many make the trip up here. If you're adventurous, hike to the top after getting off the chair. The view is incredible. I've been here for a few freezing days though, (-30) and it ain't that much fun on those days. Tip: from January on, they have the midweek deal where you can get a lift pass and hotel stay at the Marmot lodge for roughly $125 per person. That's pretty much $25 pp for the hotel room.
