Poor service, argumentative.

Poor service, argumentative.

Terrible experience. The car I wanted was not ready, not available without me having to pick it up, and the original salesperson left me with someone else (the second guy was actually quite nice) but neither knew anything about the car I was looking for.

I went to see a new Honda clarity electric. Set the appointment more than a day in advance with Mark Shipman. We had several emails back and forth and I even called 15 minutes before arrival. I clarified that we are not interested in a hybrid, only in an EV with range extender. He offered to show us a hybrid anyway, even after being very clear that's not what we wanted. After driving to the lot (what dealer makes you pick up your own car for a test drive?) the car was not ready and we had to drive to another lot to pick it up, however the battery was dead so we couldn't drive it. When we got back to the dealership they had the showroom car ready, but it was not charged so we weren't able to use any of the EV features.
After returning from the test drive we had several questions they were unable to answer, such as whether the drive train is electric or gas or both. When I shared my concern that on a less than 1 miles test drive on city streets the car was using lots of gas, the answer I got was that it wasn't charged because it takes too long and they don't sell a lot.
Would not recommend you go here if you have any real questions about what you are buying, or if you want to see the latest technology. These guys clearly don't care about customer experience.
