At first PetFirst pet insurance was a BLESSING for my German Shepherd Dog that had bad GI issues and other issues. If I wasn't the type of person to keep track of my money, I would been HUNDREDS of dollars in debt. At first, they were very responsive and on it. Now, I am waiting 5+ months for my money back. I call almost weekly, and each person tries to help me, however nothing goes through. After speaking to MANY people, it is evident that the people who answer the phones are just the middle man, and it is the people over at claims that are making huge errors. I had a bill over $400 that was DENIED because it was after 90 days... they had kept denying my claims for NO REASON, saying they need more notes. After continuing to send the notes myself, and asking the vet to CC me on their copies as well, I still have received nothing. They try to deny my claims after 90 days, however are failing to do their job correctly and timely. Today I just spoke with a female on the phone, Samantha. Samantha and Gabby have both been the 2 point of contacts that have gone out of their way to help me and fix this issue. Samantha was able to fix it within SECONDS, and was very understanding and personable. Samantha looked through all my emails, was able to locate the dates, and confirm that I was, in fact, supposed to get reimbursed from all these dates. After months of calling, Samantha was the person to finally make me feel relieved and helping me with this process. THANK YOU SAMANTHA. I would have left this insurance company if it wasn't for her. THANK YOU SO MUCH, SAMANTHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
