You know, I was just really excited about coming here and left a little underwhelmed. I was given the wrong room--I tried my key in the room number I was given to find someone else had just checked in to my room. Uh oh. And I was already so very far away from the front desk--I had to sneak into another room to use a phone to call the front desk only to find that I had been given the wrong room number. No big deal, but awkward.
The building looked like it could be a lot of fun, but it was actually really difficult to navigate. Even after 3 days there it was still hard to find what elevator I needed to use and what floor was necessary. Also, the elevators are terribly slow. Especially during events when large crowds of people are trying to move between floors. The conference center was also so very hot.
But none of this compared to coming back to my room fully intending to book a spa to find my bed just thrown back together. I've never come back to any hotel room to a bed thrown back together. That made change my mind about the spa--I didn't want to spend any more money here. For a resort (in Breckenridge!!!!), this was less than impressive.
